  1. Well 34k tokens is essentially 340k exp in dungeoneering, assuming you grasp the skill quickly really it should take 1-2 days of solid play or 2-4 days of more relaxed play. Not too long really as long as your doing the skill right. Although you should really just give the new skill a go and try to enjoy it, and you will have enough tokens by the end of playing around with it.
  2. best vid I have ever watched! that is all i need to say. Thanks.
  3. This is quite simple basically the price of sharks and raw sharks have certain demands, and as has allready been mentioned, pking would have increased the demand for cooked sharks substaintallly, whilst cooking raw sharks, has become more expensive with the cost of sharks gradually increasing over the years from there low of about 800ea. while the bots were at there peak. Also don't forget if you buy 100 sharks, and burn 10 (you can't get 100% sucess rate like other foods) the resale value of those sharks has dropped, I think this is a key factor to why raw sharks are falling behind cooked sharks, players are less willing to lose 1.5k ea. burnt shark, and coupled with increased demand factors of cooked sharks prices have gone up. And then again there are always merchants out there, all it takes are a couple of people to have the same idea of buying cooked sharks, or selling raw, and prices will jump/fall, and finally possibly with the recent increases in shark prices, the number coming into the market may have increased (i.e supply of raw sharks has increased).
  4. The fastest way would be to do the easiest tasks for the first 5, then it is really up to you, it is probably a little faster doing the easiest tasks on the 1-9 then your highest slayer master on your 10th, 20th etc, but I found it not to be worht the hassle, just do sumone once you have done your first 5 tasks that count as 0 points.
  5. Well If you are wanting more summoning exp then the living rock creatures are a blockable task, I would wait on blocking hell hounds as they are changing respawn times so they will improve (as announced in the recent updates Q and A in the jagex forums). Tzaar are slow, and have poor drops and no charms that you would want, so definalty an option. Kalphites are as you said another option as these can be crowded, and just plain annoying. Really If it was my choice i would keep hellhounds as these are fairly quick exp and dont take me too long. Really it comes down to personal preferance, and ask yourself what you are after more, slayer exp, summoning or cash, or even distributions of each, if you can answer that then you should know which task to block.
  6. Above poster has got the gear spot on, you should be pretty confident if that is the setup you have. Only things they missed would be a set of prossy/ initiate (I forget the better one lol) for any praying tasks, and it is worth getting an Enhanced excalibur if you can and maybe an ardy achievement cape for prayer based tasks. No points wasting millions on small bonuses if you dont have millions to waste.
  7. The charms are pretty ordianry, I have had one task of 187 or 200 or something, and i cant remeber specific numbers, but i remeber thinking the charms weren't great., yet the exp was awsome so that is the comprimise.
  8. Well personally for me, If you have 100 spare points this is the number one task to block, Even with the 2 new spots of steel dragons, they still take a considerable amount of time to kill and will slow down you slayer exp/hr. However if you don't want to block them, then i must suggest you choose the option you enjoy the most, and want to level up the most, as both have there pro's and con's. Magic, is expensive in comparison to range, yet will probably end up being a little faster considering steel dragons are weak to mage, range is still probably the stronger option, albeit slow and a little tedious. For both range and mage your setups are ok, just bring antifire pots and something for healing for misclicks (ee, basket of strawberries) and you definantly won't die in 5 mins. Re your magic setup personally I would use a staff that gives a 10% bonus to attacks such as the ancient staff and use the highest basic spell available to you, of course slayer dart is the other option, and they will have similar results. For the Cape the free god cape recieved after doing the miniquest up @ the lvl 55 wildy in that little bank offers a nice +10 mage bonus so that is the cape to use and it is free. Do not wear slayer helmet for mage as it has no benefits for magic, it only has the +15% attacks for melee, wear the highest mage bonus helm available to you. And that is all i can tell you just drink the antifire every 5 mins and dont get to close to the dragons and you will be fine, infact you shouldnt take any damage at all.
  9. I am just annoyed that as someone who doesnt celebrate / ever will have anything to do with thanksgiving it is forced down my throut by jagex, and is given an update over a decent quest update. Americans think they are the only important people alive, however they will barely be world superpowers for too much longer. Have terrible health care, a huge debt to China, and are to egocentric to act on Carbon emmissions. Why do we celebrate the holiday only celbrated in ONE country it is ridiculous and the Americans need to take a step back and realise they are merely a blip on the world map like everyone else.
  10. Stupid Americans tryong to shove everything they have down every other countries throats. Thanksgiving to me is a shocking rs update, and a load of boring american movies with no relvance to me.
  11. I don't think many people are replying because they dont really know. I for one just sell the herbs uncleaned, as it is easy, they sell instantly (most times at least) and it saves time. I mean cleaning the herbs will net about 30gp extra a herb i think? so about 0.05% of the price of of a todaflax. Just sell them any way you can.
  12. thanks zaps, a very well put post, my question now is, could you possibly direct me of a guide on how to most effeciently make smoke runes, as i have no idea. thanks.
  13. Army thanks for the reply, currently i have the 2 best pouches available to me, 10 spirit graaks and 50 rings of dueling, seeing how far that takes me. Any info on astrals would be great and comparisons between astrals and natures as that is my main question. As i said in the second line of my post i want to make a "decent profit", not a small loss or small gain. The fastest method is not always the best.
  14. I am more interested in inventories, exp per hour and gp per hour figures as well as the method used to runecraft, i.e how do i efficiently make astrals. ZMI i am not going to do. thanks for the reply though.
  15. Hi, I am about to start training runecrafting, after about 3 years of not touching the skill and have no idea the best way to train it. I would like to make a decent profit, yet still make good exp at the same time. I have been led to belive that leaves either making nats or Astrals. My question is, with 61 runecraft and 68 summon, what is the best method (money per hour and exp per hour) and how do i train them, i.e. for astrals what familiar do i use, to i teleport to somewhere to craft the runes, or run the whole way? and should i usethe 3 pouches i have available to me, eg. small med and large. I think the most efficient way for nats is graahk tele and run to altar and then cw tele and repeat, but again do i use pouches etc. And I am assuming ZMI is a loss or severely less profit, if it isn't that could be an option. If it helps i am training from 61-75 (for the ardy ach diary expert task) Thanks in advance for the help.
  16. loved the vid, loved the kills, and you even took down some 123's which is pretty solid lol. very nice ko's keep the vids coming.
  17. Very Very good kills, I wish i had your lvl's lol, must have taken alot of work. Definately worth the watch
  18. 10/10 dont need to say much more, awsome vid, and the double 5m stats lol :)
  19. Wow some decent kills in there, although i felt sorry for the guys losing 5m and then you getting like 500k in drops or less, doesnt seem right. What was with the 115 guy that you fought for ages, why wouldn't he run earlier? Some of the mage bank kills were a little slow and with a team which takes away from the feeling of an awsome kill,I found the awsome dds ko's you got in there more enjoyable. And i have to say your unlucky with the drops. Great vid, nice ko's, nice kills if a number means anything i would give this an 8/10, worth the watch.
  20. Some great ko's there and some even better loot :), you seemed to get at least 500k+ every kill. I would give the vid a 7/10, nice kills, a little on the short side perhaps, could maybe have been tidied up a little better. But other than that great job on the vid.
  21. I am lvl 126, and find the most efficient way to kill these guys is the following : helm: Black mask / slayer helm ammy: Fury > glory cape: Ardy ach diary (3) > trimmed skillcape > fire cape Weapon: Zamorakian spear in stab mode (leaf blade sword also works) Body: proselyte top legs: proselyte legs boots: dragon ring: ROW or beresk etc. personal preferance gloves: barrows This is a pretty basic prayer setup, i find that for your invent you will want to take 2 bunyips for a normal task, just to keep healing for the very occasional disable prayer (does not happen very often)and maybe an enchanted exaliber. For a normal task of 160 odd i use on average 6 ppots and my falador shield @ 70 prayer, so i would say take about 8-10 ppots. 2x sup attack and sup str pots, and keep the rest of your invo empty to pick up the drops. This method always makes profit, and allows you to always stay the whole trip, and is quicker than whip and range from my experience by a long way.
  22. Well I have just been doing chinning from 78-84 in black d hides, fury, zammy book, snakeskin boots, archer helm, god cloak and ring of life. Using red chins i use about 1300 an hour, (Also i use the +15% range prayer) and i am averagig 210-230k exp an hour (it has been going up). So far i have spent around 8m on chins, and a further 1m on ppots (these are suprisingly expensive....). So your looking at something like 20m i would be guessing to go up to 90.
  23. Hi I am currently trying to get to 85 range, yet of all the methods I have tried am really discontent. So far I have tried - Avianies (way to slow) and slayer (not enough rangeable tasks) What I would love to know is the fastest exp an hour method (money is not a factor) but not chins as of yet, that will get me to that lvl. Boredom is a factor as well, throwing knives at low lvl monsters does get tedious. Anyone got any suggestions?

  25. Great guide here, it is good to see the basics acutually outlined. Almost all the other guide out there expect you to allready know everything and think the only achievement is 99. While they forget there are 98 other levels before that. Anyway very helpful for a lower lvl hunter like myself looking to get the basic methods and some better understanding on how to train the skill.
