Double post for Open-BETA information bump. Some guys were looking at the BETA dates and they noticed that there were 11 days between every single BETA so it's pretty safe to assume that the Open-BETA will begin on the 28th of August following the trend. However, don't get your hopes up, it's just extremely likely. I will be playing on Ariel by the way.

I'm the same as Lionhearth, I've got 3 months of Aion subscription just as a break from WoW since I have school and I won't be able to raid or do.. much.. at all so Aion is a good break for me especially since I found a really awesome guild. /thumbup

I literally came over all the new updates. And I just pre-ordered Aion. Maybe I should start working Saturdays so I can pay for both :>

I'm just sick of all the shaman QQ about how we don't match up against other melee dps, when we do. Was in a Naxx 25 earlier, and I was putting out more dps on Patchwerk than others with better gear than me. Did you even read my post? Apparently not. Let me repeat. "No I'm basing it on a 5-10 minute tank/spank fight where all classes are geared equally and are equally skilled and every raid buff is present." And did you see how much of a boost I said you needed? Apparently not, I will repeat that too. "They only need a 1% or 2% DPS boost."

Early Access starts ~ 30d 4h 59m 28s... That means it will start at 8pm my time on the 20th September! AMG Can't wait! I plan to play a Sorcerer in Aion since I currently play a mage in WoW and I have done every since I started playing, never changed, so I'm sticking to this through my games. I fail at CC so I've deviated from the Spiritmaster. :lol: And EU People, we need to decide on a realm and faction, I know Azvareth is going Elyos with the Goons (By the way, are legions of any size really?) so I don't know if we should just follow him so we are all together, whether we are in the guild or not. EDIT: I'm joining a guild called Betrayal which are mostly people from the UK. They are pretty friendly from what I see and we are rolling on the server: Ariel Gogo get your Goons to come here and anyone else is welcome to join!

Pre-ordered it and got the client too now! Are there any more Closed BETAs? And what's the level cap by the way?

I sitll have Tekken 4 for the PS2, so old school, I remember I used to learn stunlock combos just to keep them at bay and then unleash awesomeness followed by button mashing. :D

Yeah I always thought Crysis was like a 'My graphics card runs Crysis at 60FPS what about you!' sort of delio. I have never heard anything about the game itself, just that people compare graphics cards using it.

Ah thanks Azvareth, who are the goons by the way? As you know I play WoW at the moment so any back history would be awesome and since I was thinking of Elyos that would be awesome for me, I'm going to download it now so my computer doesn't explode overnight.

Thanks Nad, I mean I've been everywhere like all the Aion fansites, well some, and such looking for where to download but haven't found anywhere yet but I'll look some more. And who ARE the EU players here who are going to play, so we can decide to play together. I don't want to start a character, get to level 20 then find out that all of you are having fun on the other server on the other faction. :wall: And also do you know how many more BETAs there will be by the way? That is probably the Asian servers. I know WoW did something similar where they charged for hourly time cards and not per month time cards. America and Europe probably will work on 15ish dollars a month. Probably is. Not for the reason that it will be sold out, but for the reason that you get good stuff with the Collectors edition. Ah ok, I was just wondering if I could save myself a buck. Does the Collector's Edition cost more or anything either?

So I've been looking at this more and I REALLY WANT TO PLAY THIS RIGHT NOW AND CANCEL MY WOW SUBSCRIPTION! Questions: 1. Can I download the client now and if so, where from? 2. Are there any open BETAs I can get into to give me a taste of it? 3. What servers and factions are the EU guys here planning to playing on? It'd be nice if TIF-EU could stay together so it doesn't end up like WoW with us all on different servers and such. 4. I heard that subscription is different, like you buy 100 hours of play time for $15 or something for 3 months and if you only play 66 hours you pay $10? Can anyone shed light on this? 5. Is it worth it to pre-order now?

5 garden courtyard FYW :thumbsup: I have 2 courtyards of 2 gardens so this is easy for me to apply my menagerie.

As opposed to blood elf paladins and draeneis crashing on their spaceships? High elves were followers of the Holy Light, some warriors could of adopted it's powers, became paladins, and kept their powers after the high-blood elf switch. Their reckless use of magic got them exiled and was outlawed. I doubt night elves would let their own kind become mages again. Mimiron hardmode is a [bleep]ing fun fight. 2nd attempt (Which was our first passed Phase 1 because 2 healers DCd as we engaged) we had the head on 10k and both others on 1 when the room exploded. Uh, Enhancement scales better with raid buffs, because it benefits from both melee and caster buffs. And you are judging shamans based on their performance in content that the majority of players won't even experience? No I'm basing it on a 5-10 minute tank/spank fight where all classes are geared equally and are equally skilled and every raid buff is present. :| If you're going emo because you're a shaman and you think I'm calling you a noob, I'm not. I'm calling SHAMANS slightly underpowered on the enhancement side and more underpowered on the restoration side. Good for enhancement scaling better with raid buffs but even with all of them they are still on the underpowered side I feel. They only need a 1% or 2% DPS boost.

Wut. Enhancement DPS is far superior to Elemental DPS, and is essentially on par with other dedicated melee DPS. I can easily top DPS on heroics and 10 mans. Shamans are godly in PVE unless you have downs. Here's your flaw; "Heroics and 10-Mans". I am talking about high end raiding where the order will be same assuming a mostly tank/spank fight. Elemental and Enhancement are on par at the highest level but elemental doesn't need that much of a buff because of the sheer amount of raidbuffs they give to casters, same with moonkins. Enhancement doesn't give as much to a raid as elemental does but does roughly the same DPS and hence why I said it needs a buff. Shamans are godly in terms of lore and would pretty much destroy anything unless they angered the elements so much but in the game at the moment elemental is decent, enhancement needs small buffs and restoration needs a fix. Definately not awesome in PvE.

Indeed, and in fact in a lot of places, innocent people join these gangs just so they protect them. This would mean a lot of people would be arrested and these of which we don't need filling up our prisons which are tight on space anyway.
