I normally don't pay attention to them, when I had around 800 I was striving as hard as I could to get to 1000 for the sake of accomplishment, but if I don't feel the need to post I usually won't anymore. I rarely look at them really, sometimes I do to get an idea of the posters experience but no more than that anymore. And yes. I did post for the sake of putting my posts/join date on this thread as an indication. Wouldn't be fitting if I didn't.

If it's pretty much like it was pre 1800 you can pretty much do with any comp as most people are pretty... bad. After around 1850-1900 stuff starts to get more annoying because you need to be an FoTM comp or get real lucky with your matchups to advance further. Well hopefully for our team it should be very good. We play RMP so you could call that FotM since it has always been very good. Since we got 1800 we can all buy weapons which will help us alot. The rogue never gemmed correctly so was missing a meta gem slot. I never enchanted or used epic gems, only blue gems, which means I can get much more spellpower and resilience. And also, this is the first time the priest has ever played RMP so he can get much better and as a result we can definately get higher ourselves. Unfortunately stuck on ~1600 on 2v2 because I play with the priest, we are good but the only setup we rarely beat is Rogue/Priest and we are meeting them a lot at the moment, hopefully it will be less when we are higher.

HAHA! Just got 1800 in 3v3. Never been above 1400 before, is awesome! Going to buy the weapon at the end of the week, also got 8090 achievement points now, and just one more book for Higher Learning!

I'm from England so my timezone is GMT, I suggest rolling on Frostwhisper, which is my server, since there really isn't any EU players anymore. I'm on the horde side if you must know. The current patch is 3.2.2 and you are on 2.1... so you got.... 2.1 2.2 2.3 2.4 3.0.2 3.0.8 3.1 3.1.8 (?) 3.2 3.2.2 And I'm sure there are some patches inbetween 2.1 and 2.4 somewhere. Yeah they take ages to download but to be fair, the game is worth it. Also something to mention, give the game at least until you start doing endgame things. Some people enjoy levelling so that won't be a problem but levelling up to 80 is a must as the game starts at 80.

Good read, I'm rolling a sorcerer on launch and for some quests it's awesome since you can sleep, root, then run out of range for some collection quests, and we kill at the speed of light.

I levelled to 12 never touching the game before in a few hours. Was one of the first and my legion was surprised at how well I picked it up. I'm usually an efficient at what I do when I can be bothered. Yesterday at ~9pm we had 17k contribution points, I don't know how we are doing now.

And there are still thousands, even millions of undiscovered species...

12 Sorcerer now, almost 13, love the playstyle as with my mage. Like the flying, too bad it's limited around Tolbas |: Quests are generic but at least they lead somewhere. Earned 54k kinah too. Guild already has 3k contribution points and we have a couple of people prepared to farm contribution points for the next... uhh... 4 hours or so to try and get server best.

Got to level 10 and I have to go :( Also, when I started, I met a friend from my WoW server I hadn't seen in a year on my server on Aion. The chances? Oh well, it really is a small world we live in!

If anyone wants to know, the download for the OB client is now available from the launcher. I'm downloading it now. Will play on Ariel in the OB too.

The N-word's old meaning has really been forgotton now. It used to mean lazy, but people started using it towards black people as they were used as white's slaves but eventually it turned into just a racist meaning. White people can call other whites the N-word. Black people can call other blacks the N-word. If a white person calls a black person the N-word then it is wrong or vice-versa then it has a racist meaning behind it. The old meaning should be brought back but not in a derogotry way.

Now that I've pre-ordered it I'm actually in a similar position, but I presume I could quite easily sell the 'Account with Talisman for faster levelling' quite easily. I've got the 1 month time with the game so I might try it out but I'm not really sure, depends on the release of Icecrown really. Still no Open BETA information either which is where I would truly decide whether to play this or not. Note: Lolol triple post strike some conversation guys D:

Double post for Open-BETA information bump. Some guys were looking at the BETA dates and they noticed that there were 11 days between every single BETA so it's pretty safe to assume that the Open-BETA will begin on the 28th of August following the trend. However, don't get your hopes up, it's just extremely likely. I will be playing on Ariel by the way.
