My vote is: 1 Pest Control-Affliction ftw! 2 Royal Trouble (change to Manage thy kingdom) 3 Construction-I like the costume room for bank space, personal prayer restore capability and the teleportation room)
-
Currently my lowest skill is hunting but that should change soon. Put my "vote" towards construction because my intention is to get my hunting level to the rest of my skills (60+) and continue using tears of guthix to get free construction xp. Very cheap that way!

Probably one of the best I've heard of is the agility dungeon for P2P. You can go down there, get the agility ticket, high alch until the platform changes and then go for the next ticket. Doing this not only earns you all the money from high alching but gets you LOADS of agility xp when you trade in those tickets!

I agree. Very nice guide. I'll start implementing some of the ideas you present here. Thanks! One small correction though, if you pay the gardner to watch your trees you don't need to use any compost or stand around watching it. It will never get dieseased and die. That's what you pay the gardner for.

what are the 3 main things you do on RS?

What's wrong with the OoC?!? The whole point of a game is to have fun and these people are having fun. No, I am not a member of the OoC but I understand the reason they do what they do. My three are farming, smithing and high alching either yew longs or mith/steel plates. -
Affliction's website is found at this site

I HATED the sleeping/fatigue addition and cheered out loud when they got rid of it!

Tip.It Times Presents: An Interview with Gregechidna6
nephite replied to Kiara_Kat's topic in General Discussion
Sorry if this is a double-post. I was just reading through some other postings and wanted to comment on this one. No there is no "automatic account deletion thingy". I took a two and a half year break myself and came back to a lot of changes (and people calling me a noob because I didn't know where things were or how things worked now) and my account was still active. They had transfered all my stats and bank items to RS2 and I had to get used to a whole new system. Luckily I had a green and red halloween mask that I kept for the last year or so and sold awhile ago. I now wish I'd have kept it since I have decent money-making skills and I got those masks for free from a friend. Didn't you see the picture from his best pk ever? He had a lot of runes from that. Either that or it was fun to buy runes in the shop and sell them for twice the price back in the day. -

I started a little while after he did but also took a long absence from the game. This article brought back a lot of memories and reminded me of the reasons why I started. I remember looking up to BlueRose (one of the first if not the first to 99 smithing) and wanting to get that some day. Considering the fact that my smithing level is still only 74 I wonder what happened to that dream? I guess that's what happens when I only play off and on. -

Thank you, I couldn't have worded that better myself. IMO farming is the easiest skill out there, if you use Miscellenia to get tree seeds that is. I hardly spend any time on farming and still my level is 85. Every time I log in I harvest and plant all 4 herb and flower patches, fruit tree patches and normal tree patches. Then I go do something else, like a slayer assignment and an hour and a half later I go back to my herbs. Simple as that. I agree. This is my philosophy as well. Farming isn't that hard. I hope people understand a little better how to farm and fall in love with this skill like we have. Currently I'm only lvl 70 but it is one of my higher skills.

question (i am not sure if this is the right place)

I became a member when I ran out of quests to do and wanted to explore other options. Back then I didn't really want to skill. I wanted to do quests. now my options have reversed. I haven't done a quest in a few months. -
Guide of Runescape Maximums [Updated to 09062007] Retired
nephite replied to Guitarted7's topic in General Guides
I'm only at lvl 70 farming but I've done my fair share of herbs. The most I've ever gotten from a single patch was fourteen herbs. Great guide! -
After the newest quest you can use firemaking to take balloons all over runescape! Well, maybe not all over but it's a nice addition to the teleportation options we have.

One of the coolest real life occurances I've seen is during the Recepie for Disaster quest when you rescue Awowogi you talk to three monkeys. These monkeys are named "Mizaru" "Kikazaru" and "Iwazaru". Since I speak Japanese I had to laugh when I saw these. The Japanese verbs "miru" "kiku" and "iu" mean "to see" "to hear" and "to say". These verbs conjugated to their negative forms become these names. I laughed because these names in Japanese literally are the names for the statues I've seen before with their hands over their eyes, ears and mouth.

Probably one of the funniest I've ever seen is "voose lagina". -
I have one too.

Why are you linking to other sites?!? The Tip.it guide for farming is more than I ever needed to know. Well done tip.it!! I would disagree about this. Flowers are of benefit because you can plant certain flowers that will stop the veggies from getting diseased. Again check the tip.it guide to farming to see what flower protects which vegetable. I have never had a single veggie patch die while the flower is fully grown! Very convenient because then I don't have to worry about them. Most of my herbs live through the process while I'm off living life or working on other rs skills. Each trip through my farming patches gives me a few thousand xp. Almost to lvl 70 because of this!

What's the Best Way to Get Fast Free Construction Experience
nephite replied to elmo_killer6's topic in Help and Advice
I agree with the comments made above. You can mine free limestone bricks to the east of varrock. You can get as many stones as you want and after chiseling them they give twice as much xp as clay does. Good luck! -
Only having 74 smithing currently it depends on what metal I'm working with. My purpose in doing iron is that it gives you a lot of xp respectively per bar, especially using a ring of forging to make all my ore into bars. I then make all my iron bars into throwing knives so I can train my ranging skill, give them to friends to use or to sell them to other players. If I take the time to mine/purchase/gather coal and I am smithing mith bars then I'll make those into plates. Same thing once I can make full addy. I will make plates because then I can either sell those for a nice profit or end up high alching them for money. Good luck!

I've been using my kingdom of miscellania (I've completed both quests relating to my kingdom) to gather most of my seeds. I have a lot now and am currently enjoying farming without having to "purchase" my seeds from other players. Lots of herb seeds as well as high-level veggie seeds. I like it!

In addition to picking flax, mining rune ess is a good way to get money. If you mine regular essence you can get 30gp each. The advantage is that if you can mine pure essence you can sell them easily for 100gp each. It'll take awhile but getting 50,000 pure ess and selling them in a month could easily be done. Although, I just calculated and with three pouches it would still take me 1163 trips to the ess mines to get that!! Good luck!
