These letters were very intriguing.... :lol: Well, not really. In fact the second letter was horribly written and useless. We all have DIFFERENT reasons for playing Runescape. I for one know it helped me with typing immensly. This game made me the top in my class for Wpm. I also play because it keeps me in contact with far away friends. Is this game all that fun? Well.. for the most part no. We spend most of our time gathering the resources to have this so called "fun". Haha the game is a lot like real life. The first letter was fine, just didn't say much. It is important for everyone to report any kind of abuse.

So, just because lots of people macro or scam or get drunk does that make us suddenly free of all blame for doing it? No. Maybe lots of people do macro or scam, but it is ILLEGAL (Within the context of the game when done in-game). Drinking is LEGAL, and is just a recreational social activity people take part in. There is no comparison. No, because nobody is advising us against going out shopping for groceries, and the woman had no way to know the was at risk of losing her purse. On the other hand, people are advised by just about everybody not to get drunk, if you choose not to listen it's your problem. Lol, you've never been told not to go out to get groceries? I have been... "Don't go walkin down the street to the kmart, you get robbed fool!!!" Nobody's defending the rapist. However, you're defending the woman, and that 'makes me feel like vomiting a little', especially when the woman also deserves blame imo. Malo2 was defending a rapist by stating that it was NOT ALL HIS FAULT! That's what someone defending a person would sound like is it not? And on the topic of you being DISGUSTED with me not blaming the woman a little, your values are much different from mine sir.

I feel very strongly about the fact that rape is a very violent act, that should by no means be blamed on the victim. Runescape is very different from an offence punishible by law. It's a horrible act, and to see even a hint of you defending a rapist Malo, makes me feel like vomiting a little.

I really dug that article. Fo weal. Thought the non-linearness made the article more interesting. Points came across really well - I agree lvling is realy tedious and hard but it's such a fun part of what the game is. Without it, the game would have very few goals. Can't understand these cheats.

I'm coming back to the game soon cause in my free time (which i have little of anyways...) I get really bored lol. I've already talked to alot of friends that used to play before so they will come back with me cause playing with no friends who play would be no fun at all. I've seen WOW's chat and GWs... i found that they both are pretty terrible.. especially GWs. bleck. RS is the best in that respect we just need some more clan support!

ya if you didn't understand that "mumbo jumbo" you should read over it a few times, there's something you've missed. Amazing article, very factual. One of my faves for sure! If Runescape gets any more tilted towards younger audiences I think I'll probably have to quit. I already feel a little weird playing sometimes and I'm 15. Hope they continue the great updates and have the game advance graphically, as well as having more communication support. This will keep those loyal players with them (in my opinion..)

lol this makes me really want to come back to rs! I don't have a clue why but ya, I'll come back in a few years at least - very inspirational tho! lol. :P Anyways ya I remember some of RSC.. loved that game!!

I've got to say I really enjoyed this article - probably one of the best I've read actually. In reply to the person on the first page who doesn't like this article being about anything outside of Runescape's "in-game"... I must say it's really refreshing to read about the "real life" aspect of all this. Why would you want just articles about in-game happenings? Those are usually dull and have no real purpose I've found.

An admin told you not too and you still did? You deserved it then... Aren't admins like just people too? Just like alot of other authority figures, no dif from you or me but they have the power over other people (if only for a short while or only on some forum..). And alot of the time they abuse that power... so I don't really look up to them very much. So an admin told him to lol, a perm ban? ptff. Love tip.it, I got banned perm from runevillage for tryin to sell an item like 50k over what it was worth (and i had no clue it wasn't worth that much..). This is a really good thing tip.it has done, good job!

Nice article as always. I think that if the Editor IS running out of ideas more people should be sending in their articles... otherwise it's not really the Editors fault...I mean if you're the one always doing them every week how can you have something fresh and innovative? Bubsa, is there any other community does articles like these and if there are do they even come close to the quality of them? Seriously I would like to know. Tip.it Articles are always something I look forward to reading.

With fewer people this game is definatley the funnest. Only problem is you have to wait 5 mins! which is a lifetime it seems...just as bad as fight pits nearly lol. I opt for the speed of the more pop. worlds and usually try to get in when many people's combat lvls are red to me ...why? Cause well the xp is so fast! Why should really anyone care if it's not as fun...still better than training on spawning monsters! Good article (obviously you can't have a smashing one EVERY week lol).
