robe and anatomy are wrong. robe looks FAR too big for someone with his anatomy (id be thinking along the lines of an anarexic IMO due to the arms) the thumb is horrible. doesnt look realistic, and it doesnt look like hes holding the wand, it looks like its falling out his hands. shoulders dont work - the ro be is hard to make out due to the fact its a pure black BG - makes it look like 2 random holes around his neck. the hood is good, but the face isnt.

as far as i can see its clouds or grunge brushes with 2 sprites and minimal smudging to try and blend them in. i would do more with it, i would make it like an epic battle between them - hard to explain, but id do it. also, the 1 with the border will ultimately look much better IMO - it gives it a sense of body, of being there (hard to explain again) V3 is horrible btw - why blue around the guy? it does nothing for the sprite - hes black and purple not dark blue.

low quality. due to filetype? just looks like a c4d plonked on a beigey bg with bad lighting effects. also no GOOD light source. u can see one in the middle, but it shows no effect on the c4d, as if it being there is just random, and of no relevance to the light SCHEME (shadows etc). also, metallica? listen to some real music :thumbsup:

if its about ur job in spar, id put things with juice or sandwiches or meat or something in em, rather than cliffs etc. and instead of water, maybe a sack to represent being fired? i dno.

render colour and bg colour dont fit.

and maybe continue the effects on the left outside the sig border, so it looks like a wall perhaps? just make it darker the further away it goes to give it a sense of depth.

make a new one.

post them and prove me wrong then. its nothing to do with an ego, mosher. its to do with the fact i dont think you can put some random anime pics into a poorly made sig and say its urs.

v3 is defo the best, but it could use sharpening IMO

only thing better in v2 is the lighting. u just washed all the colour and constrast out of it now IMO.

you know, believe it or not, taking images and editing them to fit together is all that you do in other sigs as well, oh wait, you apply a filter as well... big [cabbage]. i use my own 'images'(C4D I MADE) in some of my more recent ones. but i definetly dont take them, edit them so slightly its barely visible to the human eye, and then call them my own. and if u notice, i never say this is MINE, i say new sig. so gg i win. \

you consider using lots of anime pics and putting in some pish poor lines is making ur own sig? well you keep thinking that :

taking a long time to load. light source isnt good. its just a random blob with, as far as i know, no light coming from it. apart from tht its your best so far IMO. looks like ur trying to get into the kind of sigs you'll find in quality GFX forums :P i think the text on soft light or normal 80% opacity, and maybe 50% BnW layer on top? just some ideas.

i take it you got the anime pics from a source, not ur own hand. in that case, what, by copying and pasting pics into boxes, make u think its ur work?

(not saying I didn't hug the tablet or anything...) :P Thanks guys, it indeed was a real quick trial of the pen, so expect a few more things in the future with more than just a muffin (although there's absolutely nothing wrong with muffins). PHEAR THE MOOFIN By the way, I'm having trouble with my tablet - I'm using PS 7, which supports the whole pen pressure and eraser thing... but it's not working. It worked last night when I did the muffin pic (and the ebil muffin edit), but now it's just reverted back to mouse-like abilities. The quick buttons on the side of the pen work as I've programmed them, but the eraser and the pen pressure features aren't doing anything. :| I've set the brush that I'm using to have those options, but it's still not happening... any suggestions? i would personally buy the one with the face on it for money. modern art ftw? :P
