Man, when i saw that wyrm in the twitter update, i was hoping for a multiperson slayer boss, not some stupid community event with a meh reward that disappears! Tho nex update sounds nice. once i get my yak im going :D

They're getting tired of this game, but simply can't bring themselves to quit. They're the worn-out veterans who feel the gameplay has gotten stale and ought to move on to another game, yet they still keep playing Runescape. They'd rather believe the game is dying, in decline, or Jagex is going to hell in a picnic basket instead of logging out and swearing off it forever since they haven't the willpower to quit. All I'm hearing are complaints instead of alternative and constructive suggestions to improve the game. Heh. you mad bro?

i dont remember it exactly, (and it wasnt in king of the dwarves, it was revenge of a chaos dwarf) but i dont think its the same, but it had quite a similar design.

people seem to forget that jagex is a BUSINESS. Its here to make money. This prize draw is designed to do just that. THIS IS NOT A BAD THING. I'm sure they will make more than the 120k then they are giving away in new player ad revenue alone. the draw is an incentive to get you to bite if you were on the fence. it has NOTHING to do with the content's quality.

my best advice to you is to do all f2p quests. really helps you get oriented. also killing hill giants for big bones is decent cash and some combat xp.

better option: just report them and laugh at their pathetic excuses for a life. especially considering how easy it is to make 500k.

updates may have gotten generally smaller, but are still about the same quality. (medium low to medium high on a good day.) so unless we have a ton of climbing boots type updates in a row, we've got a ways untill the shark jumps and the fridge gets nuked.

New. new newnewnewnewnewnew. gnomes needed an update so frakking much. grand tree was one of the worst looking areas in the game, imo. it still looks bad but the new gnomes make it alot better.

i surprised myself by being able to do the calibration without a guide.my magenta stumped me for awhile, but it turned out i had the peices for it in my invy... :shock: even tho it was technicality harder, i had less trouble with it than i did the last 2 quests. i loved the tons of xp from it. cant wait to lead a gnomish army invasion of asperandosa >=D

id wait for atleast ashes update, see what kind of xp rates were talking there.

" Seriously the answer to your question is very simple. The Internet has made people intellectually lazy. They don't want to look anything up. They don't want any answers that involve them doing any more work than they need to do, either. What they want is the cheap quick fix that will earn them big bucks and no whammies. NO WHAMMIES! NO WHAMMIES! STOP!!! dangit. Ot: lazy people are lazy. answer the new questions and just give stock answers to the rest.

"useful" as in an extremely niche use item, and some stuff that only helps within the minigame. The halos are actually a very nice invisible prayer bonus, right? They enable you to pray the entire time you're fighting somewhere and cut down on how many prayer pots you would have to use while you can keep up the prayers. Halos also seem to have an amazing magic defense. They are a neat item to come from much time spent in CW, which as was said, didn't use to have anything "useful" to take outside of the minigame. The bonus only works on certain prayers. Not worth risking equipment that takes 125 hours to obtain for a measly mage bonus that the seers headband/bear helmet can supply. For the time put in, the rewards are some of the worst in the game. IMO, the previous rewards were better (and they were only decorative). but they all work on the higher level prayers, like chilv, piety, turmoil, ss, and the dg mage/range prayers. so unless your a bit noob, they are useful.

Are the supplies for serum 207 selling for lower than their GE value? Not anymore and now ashes are rising due to the upcoming prayer update. lol, watch the regular firemaking ashes be unusuable for prayer update. /OT on topic, as soon as you can make ext attack, stop making spec restores. I did that and i still wound up with 5k spec rests that ill never be able to use up.

at the end of the day, it comes down to personal preference. Noone can tell you whats best for you, only make suggestions.
