well in my oppinion, barrows > 3rd age the thrid age offers good def, but rarely do you need the full set AND good def. most of the time you can heal with guthans and not worry about the 50 less def. the only times i can think of is with DKing and KQing. dharoking is used for having low hp, so that doesnt really count. so to tell you the truth, i would much rather just camp with a set of guthans and a rune kite + whip/dscim or something and just forget about the 3rd age. its just going to end up being a novelty like god armour. basically what i was trying to get at was you will not always need the full set effect and a high def at the same time. most of the time you are training somwhere where it wont matter.

the only way it would work is if it was on f2p and benefiting f2p members only. the fact that there are places where a bank is convienent to the fishing spot kind of makes the running and the selling of cheap lobsters obsolete. catherby is a perfect example in which its just beneficial to bank your own lobsters. BUT, if this were to happen on a f2p world, it would be highly beneficial to both the fisher and the runner. although, prices in lobsters might drop even further, which i guess isnt a bad thing.

you could have done a bit better job of placing the character on the table so it looks like it is auctually standing on the table. it looks too forward on the table currently. maybe pay the 1k geepee to see where the guards stand?

i would liek to point out the fact that when people lose rune plate bodies or they quit with 100 in their bank, it makes no difference tot he economy. 100 can easily be made in a matter of minutes. now, when you quit forever with 3 phat sets, 5 mask sets, 25 santas, and 100 easter eggs, that will do more to the economy because no more can be made, so this sense of there being only a certain ammount of items, ex: rune palte bodies is ludacris. oh, and by the way, i have 500+ nats just form killing random things over the past month. so getting natures really isnt that big of a problem, especially since they are somewhat common drops among many creatures in runescape, as well as easily made. not everyone is scammed by scammers. its the select few who are stupid enough to get scammed and lose their money. and if they are scammed, it wont be something like 100m daily, its something like 20k which can easily be made in about 5-10 minutes of work, if not less.

I didn't have the time or patience to read all of the posts. If you rent games from a Video Rental store, you know that games are around 5$-7$ a rental. this rental is expected to be returned in 5-7 days. (some places are okay with late returns, like blockbuster, though) if you rent that game for the 1 week, you could have spent possibly less money on a rental for a month(rs), instead of a rental for a week. So in theory, you can spend less money for "renting" RS, then you can a normal game. Now, true, you could buy guild wars, and never pay the money for a monthly fee, but some people dont have the hardware for guidl wars (ex: me). So people like me are stuck with a few choices. "Rent" a game for $5 a month, play a game on a console for $50 for less than 10 hours of game play, rent a game for 5$-7$ a week, or buy a game like guild wars. the most logical seems to be runescape in my eyes. although, if i did have a better graphics card I would not be playing rs right now. i probebly wouldnt be writing this post. i would be on guild wars.

it looks amazing. i might have to get a 99 skill just because of the capes! :P I hope the elemental helm will have a use. hopefully some decent stats too. i dont want another 10 minute quest.

karamel from the RFD quest. i got stat-reducing barraged 7 times in a row. can you say 0 att, str, def, range, and mage? i know i can. that was the most annoying because i couldnt keep my stats above 40 even when using super restores.

good luck. i personally hate green dragons. the pking situtation is horrible. i was auctually barraged while 3 iteming. and i didn't even get 1 kill before they did it. they can successfully say they pked some bones. i am going for blue dragons currently. good luck with your goal. selling all of that comes to about 15.8m (bones 2200 ea, hides 1500 ea) any idea on what you are spending the money on?

Guthans at the moment. Being able to stay and train at one spot for as long as i need to is pretty exciting. i will probebly sell my whip soon and buy dharoks to mass train str at ape atol to see how that works. but so far, its been Guthans.

druids are good for a mid-level to get money. i know i made a lot of my money there. anda good idea is to drop guams, marrentills, and tarromin unless you want to make them for pots. keep everything above that and sell. you will profit even more from herbs. i currently am in love with blue dragon slaying :

It's good to see someone talk about tactics, rather than more powerful equipment. I totaly agree with you with what you said. special arrows would be cool. heck, the crossbow with the %drain would be amazing. maybe too amazing, considering it could hit over 40. good ideas, and i agree with the crystal bow idea. sorry, but i really like how you *thought* about something before you posted. sometimes you dont see too much of that :P

imaerehw14 (98) not enough money/time/dedication. also, i would need better prayer and range levels. not to mention i get random laggs for a few seconds, which wouldnt help me get the cape at all.

to tell you the truth, the anti/superanti poisons are not required. The poison does a MAX of 2 if i am not mistaken? and if you happen to use the antipoison and search the next urn, chances are that you are going to get poisoned again. now, if you have super anti's just flowing out of your bank, go ahead and use them, but there is no true need to go out and buy/make anti/superanti pots for plundering.

i thought they were about equal. DT for the constant poison + all the running in the grass, trying not to get hit by arrows. also the fact that if you were ever seen by a monkey in the "town" area, ninjas would come. those stunk. i didnt have a problem with dt really. damis wasnt hard as most people say(except for the lag + loss of connection #-o ). the quest jsut took like 3 days to complete. dt wins for length. monkey madness wins for the mental part (running through the tunnels at the right time, knowing where to run in the grass, getting byt he guards, etc).

so far levels 1-20 have costed me 0 gp. Yes, it is cheap.

To the people who asked... No i didnt get the same hits. i remember hitting a high dds spec, like a 21-20. when i went, i didnt get any numbers on my dds spec above 20. so the hits werent predetermined.
