So after the mention of the telescope I traded in one of my trade good statues for one and I've had a scroll every day since. Going on 5 scroll days in a row now. As a side note, give me some dam oxhead!!! Still at just one, and the last 3 days I've used up 50 crew rolls and haven't seen a single stainless steel one.

So it looks like everything from level 4 (except F2P access :razz:) got moved down to level 3. Hoping it doesn't break 500k now, don't see the point in content updates. Agreed, I was admittedly hoping it would reach the 250k mark, that would at least make it sustainable.

The table states that 500k+ votes will give 2007scape the anti-bot and anti-goldfarming technology, as well as regular content polls. I thought those were initially pegged at the 750k mark? I thought the only thing 750k did was make f2p f2p. I could be mistaken though. EDIT: The content polls were orginally 750k+

Clicking the link on the hope page forces your vote, doesn't lead you to the information page. You know I thought they would rig it but this is stupid.

You handle it by telling them to shut up. If it's more than a minority they can call a yes/no poll. As for updates, there probably would be a few that benefit the game such as that log out timer, which from what people are saying, will log you out after 1.5 mins. I hope they increase it to 5 mins. It was actually 1 minute. I think I would consider playing it only if I can play 07 and live at the same time. I still have a few slow afk skills to max on live game.

True but round figures are nice and everyone knows what you mean when you call it $5 Too be honest what I'd rather see is another legacy bump. Freeze everyone where they are add ~2-3$ for every new person there on out. Instead of addition costs specifically for 07 scape.

One final analogy for you. I have $100, a limited amount of money, just like the number of people playing runescape. Every second I give you $1, your getting $1/second average. 100 seconds later I give you my last dollar. For the next 100 seconds I don't give you anything because I have nothing to give, your now getting 0.5/second average and yet your count is still $100 200 seconds later, still not having received any more money your now at 0.25$/second and yet you only have $100 Get it yet? because it only gets worse the more you spout #/time garbage.

It will not last, namely because most of the people here are in Disney-land where they've convinced themselves that if only we could have 2007 back, it'd just be so wonderful, that community and all that. We're almost at 100k and were still in the 12th hour. 12 more hours @ at least 3k votes will get us to 136k in one day. By Monday we should be closing in on 250k and within 2 weeks we should half at least 500k. Once we do get to 500k votes that's 75% of the current subscribers. 75% is greater than 25% right? Nut huggers we may be but the fact that you still assume the majority of people won't have voted in the first 24 hours is laughable. Grandiose delusions aside. I still haven't voted and I'll likely wait till the very end, but if it gets close to the 250k mark I'll likely vote. More members is more members, no matter what game they play.

The thing is though, 07 scape doesn't need development. I don't agree with the options that support that, aside from possibly bot prevention. My post earlier about offering "Fresh start" scape doesn't need different development, merely controls who gets in, same way members works.

Cause the most hectic fans have already voted. The fall would most likely be bigger if it wasn't plenty of new players logging in. Which is a bit sad. After thinking about this for a while, it would most likely be for our everyones best interest to get over 500k votes. Nevermind if you care about 2007scape or not. Getting 2 games with one membership is guaranteed to get people not only to return to the game - but also try the current game aswell. Expecting people to return playing in masses with over 10$ or even up to like 20+$ monthly fees just doesn't seem reasonable. More players we get to 2007scape, the more money and players we also get for the real RuneScape. I guess what your trying to get at is the more people you can appeal to the better the game fairs. It reminds me again of the server system in WoW, you get PvE(PvM) and PvP, then there is PvE-RPG, and PvP-RPG, Latin servers, english servers, etc. Your hitting the needs of many groups simply by diversifying and it truly doesn't hurt anyone to have those options. I prefer to primarily play on a PvE server, however I've also crossed over to PvP servers. Meanwhile RPG servers don't appeal to me at all so I just avoid those. Funny how choice is what we are fighting against now.

I have to admit this made me second guess myself. The only thing I want to add though is that I don't want to see 750k because I don't want any form of free version, and make it so the trail accounts can't access it, which should help largely with bots.

Closing in on 70k votes, 17 hours left. If we just average 3k votes will have almost 130k votes before tomorrow. I'm 100% sure this will hit 250k by Monday or Tuesday. I have a strong feeling that you will be the most disappointed player who has posted on this thread. Almost every one of your expectations is unreasonable or flawed in some way. 3k votes per hour won't last. Like I said earlier, your looking at 80-90% of all votes done by Sunday Night. You will weep.
