Godswords will still be pretty hard to obtain with 2007 gear and they'll be invaluble in pking as the arma godsword had the highest melee hit back then IIRC. Couldn't you hit into the 70s with high end 07 gear? Sara godswords will also be pretty valuble. Godswords won't exist, they came later in the month apparently. :/ oh wow... in that case GWD will be pretty worthless. It could still rival skilling in money making but the risk is always a factor. GS and GWD came at the same time, your not going to have GWD at all. -

It sounds like an adendum. So presumably the current fee of 10$? + fee for 07bullshitscape. You want two games, you pay for two games. You want some retro garbage you pay for it. I think that's the point, we don't want the EOC game so rather pay for the one we would actually log into. Also who exactly are you to judge over the games people play? If you like Spinning the wheel for items and gambling with flowers and dice or watever, i wont judge you for that so go forward man, do what you enjoy. The point is that they are only doing this because enough people have whined. I truly don't much care as long as its self sustaining. What bothers me is that they aren't seeing what they can get out of this. Turn it into a profitable venture that doesn't get developement time because thats what people want is a never changing game, and use the extra revenue to improve a game that can actually go somewhere. -

So, not really adding money into the economy but more distribution of it, but either way if you got in within the first hour of this and used up the 450 spins ($100), I've heard you'd be looking at about 20-21k hearts. At 3.5k each heart you'd be looking at 70 -73.5 mil in hearts + ~1mil in loot and depending on your skill levels, 90+ up to 1 mil xp. Not to mention pendants and recharge gems. Works out to ~ 700kgp/dollar, and 10k xp/dollar. Now to not have to worry about being banned or having your credit card stolen that might have been lucrative way to getting gp without the work. -

Mod MMG, [qfc]14-15-832-64233878[/qfc] Thats the garbage I didn't want to hear. Why is making this profitable such a bad thing. No matter the voter counts make it cost $10 a month extra. Jagex wants revenue make the whinny people pay for it. The game needed to move on, suck it up and get on with it not continue hounding till you get crap like this. I hate when people give in because other people have their heads to far up their asses to accept change. Don't get me wrong I know there are issues with the EoC but as a whole it was needed to have any hope of fixing this game. The best thing they could do now would be to ignore this crap and actually release something that destroys bots then continue producing quality content instead of sub dividing into seperate games. -

Donating $5 once isn't the same as paying $15 a month. I'd like to see the exhorberant fees stay not matter what level of support they get. Make this a revenue venture instead of just break even. -

I want to know that the free trial members can't vote and/or a random captcha for the voting process. We don't need the bots to mass vote just to get this shit back. I'd venture to guess that most people haven't seen the note about starting at level 3. I want to see that front and center in the voting page too. The only thing that remotely interests me is the reset of the economy. -

Seeing it written out like that made me realize it doesn't matter the order. 1*2*3*4*5 = 120 5*4*3*2*1 = 120 Edited my post before you posted that. But yeah, it rounds down after every multiplication before applying the next. So, literally, the only use those statues have is for that one single 100 spice mission because 1% rounded down only creates a new value for >=100 good missions. It's awful design, and I have to wonder what Jagex was smoking when they thought it out. Was under the impression they were planning to fix them. If not guess I will grind more jade for scroll totems. As far as I know someone reported the jade statues boosting their reward from the Pincers stories by 1 (25 -> 26), so they probably stack? I will take note of this for the next one I get. 25*.3=32.5 = 32 *.04 = 33.28 = 33 Or 25 * .3 *.04= 33.5 = 33 Or 25 * .3 = 32.5 = 32 *.01 =32.32 = 32 *.01=32.32 = 32 *.01=32.32 = 32 *.01=32.32 = 32 So 32 means doesn't work worth shit, 33 means it works. If it does just add up to 4 % that means they are worth it for as low as 3 with a merchant, if there isn't some stupid rounding shit.

So just got back the whaler pincers mission. Base is 100 spice, I put a merchant on that makes 130. I have 4 jade statues and got 135 spice. How much does that make each one worth? Lol

It's not. 4 is good endgame. Also have 4 JoD 4 oxheads is good because 4/7 voyages are multi stat. 4 jod is a waste because your likely to have a single stat unless you keep rerolling for only multi stats, in which case you'd likely want even more oxheads. There are a lot of dual stat voyages in Pincers. For those, you have JoD 3 JoD should cover those.

Thank you very much to both of you for providing that information, wouldn't it depend on luck if you managed to get a captain with those specific traits and roll those specific traits voyages? Would that be too much effort than just getting one captain of each with various traits, i can't see the traits contributing more then 1 or 2% to the overall mission success? Just a simple yes or no will do =) My other post had the stipulation that you not likely to get those captains but was a general idea to aim for.

2-4 Merchants 3 Judges 3 Oxheads 5 SF / Morale / Combat Can use the last spot to look for crew with good traits or another seafaring possibly.. Two merchants might even be enough as well.. That's all I'm using. So far I've only gotten 1 Oxhead since getting to the Pincers over a week ago. :(. Wouldn't it be worth getting 6 SF not 5, as we don't get a hull upgrade for SF in Pincers and add in the fact that the Figureine at the front of the boat doesn't have a SF equivalent. It's better to have 6 of all 3 basics because with 4 ships and 5 of each you'd likely run out of crew for the 4th ship with only 5 of each This is funny. If you go back a few pages you'll see the combo I built and all the success rates. You want more oxheads.

I've never bought a golem and I don't find myself missing them. I do still however have 2 chimeras and I'm 90% to pincers.

I thought people decided if its 5 levels lower your better off going with weakness type. Ie level 75 bgs vs cmaul on slash weak?

You will want more ox. They are equal on doubles and best for triples that's why I chose less. Normal crew

Built and saved my potential "ideal" maxed crew. It assumes no personal bonus or trait bonus on the crew and only perfect traits on the captains. This is what I came up with for: Captains: Pure Moral - 4 moral Traits Moral Seafaring - Moral based captain - 4 seafaring traits Pure Combat - 4 Combat Traits Pure Seafaring - 4 Seafaring Traits Seafaring Combat - Seafaring Captain - 2-4 Combat Traits 0-2 Seafaring traits. Crew: 3 Jade Merchants 4 Ox Head 3 Judge of the Dice 5 Combat 5 Moral 5 Seafaring No Merchants 22500 Moral - 85% 22500 Combat - 85% 22500 Seafaring - 82% Merchants 22500 Moral - 77% 22500 Combat - 74% 22500 Seafaring - 71% No Merchants 11500 Moral - 11500 Combat - 90% 11500 Moral - 11500 Seafaring - 91% 11500 Combat - 11500 Seafaring - 91% Merchants 11500 Moral - 11500 Combat - 83% 11500 Moral - 11500 Seafaring - 83% 11500 Combat - 11500 Seafaring - 81% No Merchant 10000 Moral - 10000 Combat - 10000 Seafaring - 91% Merchant 10000 Moral - 10000 Combat - 10000 Seafaring - 82% Anyone that wants to play with it, username is maxedports password is 12345 This is all reasonable in my mind, only thing I would consider is an addition judge and merchant, thing is though you don't use judges on single stat ones and I'm hoping to have scroll missions for a while which don't need merchants which is why I went for this build. As a note all of these numbers could potentially be higher if you got crew with traits/personal bonuses and personal bonuses on captains.
