Another good way to plank I've heard of is using the Ballons to travel between there and Castle Wars.

Nope, you can't, sorry. You need to complete the quest or "a mystical force will stop you from entering the Death Rift".

You should bring basic magic defense, a bronze pickaxe, and all the ess you can. Also, optionally, you can (read should here) bring a one click tele (Ectophial, tele-tablet). If you are too afraid of losing a glory, you might bring a house tablet (or teleport runes) and use a hanged glory from your house, but it's not really recommended.

You can use them in order to get into the Port(if you haven't done Ghosts Ahoy), buy Yeast for brewing, or you can also use them to go to Dragontooth Island. (Maybe there are clue scrolls that lead there?)

You can't use a Mind Bomb for magic (you simply can't start the quest), so I guess you can't use stews either.

After having done Dragon Slayer (I doubn't you haven't), you can go inside the volcano in karamja, then north and through a false wall, then climb a rope, and you'll reach Crandor.

For the fight, you should try ranged or magic., both of which are IMHO too low for the quest.

A higher attack level (+weapon bonus) provides a bonus to that die roll. Now, if you hit, you must roll another die for the damage you hit. A higher strength level (+weapon bonus) makes the die have more faces. (E.g., with 20 strength you randomly hit any number between 1 and 5, but with 45 strength you hit between 1 and 9)

You say you are keeping the harralanders, so that must mean you are dropping all the other herbs. A tip for getting good herblore exp (specially at low levels) is "use all the herbs you can". You could eventually drop marrentil, but you should always do all the potions you can.
