Teachers should teach ethics and morality as part of their own teaching program (whenever possible), but there shouldn't be specific lessons for them. That way the students can learn better about different ways of thinking, seeing that (almost) none of them are "right" or "wrong".

There is no point on relying on big events to boost your happiness, because these events only happen rarely. On the contrary, to be happy you have to learn how to see the small good things that happen around you. A rainbow, a specific grandpa of mine going on well after breaking his hip, some songs I like, hanging out with friends, reading a good book.
