It's a generic warning Chrome introduced in v33 that alerts you if you're running an unpackaged extension. SwiftKit has a very basic Chrome extension that's used when using Chrome as the internal browser. Odd that I'm not getting the error though. What happens when you click learn more, do you see the extension listed? What version of Chome do you have?
I've just pushed an update to the Staff Server, which I *hope* has fixed it. Ran into a lot of problems a long the way trying to get this working again. Hasn't been fun. Anyway, in the SwiftKit Launcher, click 'Options' go to 'Advanced' then 'Use Staff Server'. The password is ruckus13
Alright. I thought so. We've got to go back to the drawing board for this one as Chrome v32 onwards seems to have completely killed any chance of doing what we were previously doing.
Hi, Sorry about this but Chrome made some pretty big changes in their latest stable update (version 32). These changes broke the SwiftKit/Chrome implementation. I've had a look and it's not going to be a simple fix. I don't know when we'll have an update but I'm going to look at it this weekend. For the time being you'll have to uncheck the use chrome option.
Hi, Chrome may have been updated which might have broken it. I'm away till tomorrow though so can't look at it till then. In the meantime you might have to uncheck play with chrome option.
Try going to C:\ProgramData\SwiftKit and deleting the ChromeCache directory. ProgramData is a hidden folder so you might have to paste it in the address bar in Explorer/My Computer.
It happens every now and then. The AV (generally less known and less reliable vendors) flags the software as a false positive. Try downloading from one of the mirrors on our download page.
Never heard of Virgin Media Security...Looks like a false positive though. As long as you downloaded from the official SwiftKit website, you'll be fine.
