Look at Pantera, number one album in America and still re-defined metal throughout the ninetines while Metallica were off selling out and making hard rock records.

Strapping Young Lad and The Red Chord are 2 of the best bands around right now, try those. Strapping Young Lad have a number of albums but I'd recommend either the self-titled release or City. The Red Chord only have 2 albums, Fused Together in Revolving Doors and Clients. Fused Together... is their first release, a lot more experimental with awesome drumming and brutal vocals. They 'mellowed' out a bit on Clients, I use that term loosely though. It's still brutal and it rules, but it's not as experimental. I blame that a lot on the mass of line up changes between the 2. If you want some early thrash try Exhorder - Slaughter in the Vatican. A lot of people say Pantera ripped off Exhorder but I've never agreed. Most of the people who say it are just Exhorder fan-boys who are bitter that Pantera succeeded after Exhorder broke up. Exhorder are awesome, though. Definitely worth checking out.

I ended up just doing system restore and it fixed. Just need to re-install a few things

Ok so my computer one day started to not turn on, it'd work for about 2 seconds and then go off. I thought it was the power supply so one of my relatives who works repairing computers took the computer and fixed it. I say fixed it, I mean, he got it to turn on and stay on. Now however, when I load up the computer, I get to the Windows screen; 'To begin, click your user name' but then when I click, I get an error. It says: 'Windows cannot load the user's profile but has logged you on with the default profile for the system. DETAIL - insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service', and then it loads a blue screen of death. However, when I load my computer up and go into safe mode, it loads fine and everything is there. I'm guessing something has corrupt but I don't know what. I have a couple of questions: - Is there a way to fix this without taking the easy route of re-installing Windows? I don't feel like putting 60GB worth of data onto discs. - If I have reinstall or format, can I burn stuff to disc in safe mode? - Would system restore help? And if so, can I use it in safe mode? Any help is appreciated.
