  1. Yea, I agree about the fake part, but if you multiply 1/1000 * 1/1000 you get 1/1,000,000 not 2/1,000,000. So the chances are even smaller than you thought.
  2. Exactly. Just wait a while and rares will rise back up while the armor falls.
  3. Umm... Link please? Edit: Found it. And WOW.
  4. There's even a guide in the AoW to kill them. :D
  5. That's basically what I think. Great minds think alike.
  6. sorry but that was completely off topic and irrelevant to the post :| How in the world is that off topic. I personally belive it's a better theory then yours. Even though it is Christmas I highly doubt that people will abby runecraft wearing a santa. Actually... I have seen someone rc in a santa... They did about 5 runs before someone was waiting to pk them. (the abyss pker ended up getting pked : ) Edit: Forgot to post this. Got it from someones sig. O:)
  7. I'm gonna be mining ~1k clay, so I'm wondering where the best place to mine it would be. I'm thinking about moving my house to rimmington and getting my servant to bank it, but I can't remember if I'd eventually have to pay her or not. Thanks in advance. BTW, I'm a member. Edit: Bought it, thanks though.
  8. I walked around starting everyquest I could find. (not doing them, just talking to the npc long enough until a red quest turned yellow  )
  9. I like the beginning cutscene in My Arm's Big Adventure (the one where the guy is in the pot and there's dragon armor and money on the floor). I ran around for like five minutes trying to find it...
  10. It's also fun to cast curse on low levels in the dual arena. Just make sure you turn forfeit off, and have some fun w/ them. :P It takes a bit longer, but it's a lot more fun. :P
  11. Actually, I disagree. A skill cape may take more time, but a fire cape is definately harder to get. From what I have read/heard/seen (too scared to try to get one :ohnoes: ) it takes a great deal of talent and maybe not so much time. Also, I it seems that fire capes show off your work more than a skill cape. Any moron can sit in a bank for 3 weeks getting 99 fletching/cooking/etc. Not so much for a fire cape.
  12. I belive it about a week ago I saw a guy hit i think a 76 on a PORTAL! High def doesn't reduce your max hit, so there's nothing amazing about that. Maybe the kid jsut has high attack, or is lucky. ...What? :-k
  13. This is probably a stupid question, but after they bank stuff for you, do they come back to the box, or are they gone?
  14. FYI, you aren't being forced to do these skills. You do have a choice. And not every skill has to be money making. Some could be there just for FUN. And FUN is the reason anyone plays this game, and I think it's great that Jagex has released a skill that's both fun and cheap (my favorite :) ). And how do you manage to lose money farming? If you buy ranarr seeds and sell the herbs, even only getting the minimum amt of herbs (5) you are still making 5k.
  15. skeletor from the tv show heman? If I recall, I believe that was Thundercats... Don't ask how I'd remember that... nah, it was heman and the protectors of the universe. skeletor is the guys name im googling a pic of him Sorry, just had to say this. :P He looks very intimidating in that picture. Don't mess with Skeletor! He'll redesign your house!
  16. Client side hacking by editing what was in your registry, I think it was. But that didn't change the actual servers files for your account. Can't do it anymore, and not like it matters anyway. The second you tried to use the fake levels the game would not let you and it would go back to normal, since you couldn't edit the server files. indeed, but yea if you think noones ever hacked rs then you are just ignorant people have made it so you could attack any npc you wanted, EVEN BANKERS, duped items, even now you can be hacked without having a key logger or easy to guess pw I just had to say this because people don't seem to get it. :| Even if someone did hack runescape, they wouldn't use it to attack npcs, dupe items, steal passwords, etc. They would find out the hundreds of thousands of CREDIT CARD NUMBERS. Most things that happen in rs as the result of a "hack" are bugs. On Topic: They probably got the armor on entrana through a treasure trail casket and, like people have said, you can make bows on entrana.
  17. +1 :P A disease free herb patch would be amazing... :D
  18. I think you're thinking of the wrong brother. Karil's armor splashes ancients most of the time. It has better mage def than black d hide.
  19. Why would you want to sell something to general store? The only reason I could think of is to get rid of large amounts of products. For example, coifs, hard leather bodies, uncut willow longs, etc. My general rule of thumb is if it's not worth the time to sell to another player, then alch it. If it's not worth alching, sell it to general store, and if it's not worth selling to the general store, note and drop. Another thing I worth hopping worlds for is rune arrowtips, I believe you can take out the first 50-100 for an average cost of 250-300each. It is OK xp and OK cash. I do recall that the best place to do this was Ranger's guild, but I think Catherby was OK too.. Mith arrowtips are very good at King Lathas' Training Ground, I believe. Sorry, just had to post this. :-$ Just so you know, the "rule of thumb" was actually invented by the Puritans. The rule was that they couldn't beat their wives with a stick bigger than their thumb. Just wanted to give you a heads up.
  20. Absolutely not. I just toyed around with some numbers, and if someone cashed in 1k points they could get from level 59 to 71. So, someone could get 59 def, save points up for a while, hop to w 2, cash in the points on def, and become an amazing veracs staker. And of course people would stake them because the highscores would say 59 def. It would greatly throw off staking and pking, so they should keep it at 250 points.
  21. I'll do it, you don't have to pay me though. I'm always happy to help out a tif'er. :D
  22. What's the most important? :XD: Castle wars. On Topic: I don't think you should ever drop any clue, even level one. Just think of the best possible reward that you could get, and quest for that. Always works for me. :
