If you have herbalism, mining and archaeology you can level fairly quickly doing that. Most of my 84->85 on my mage was archaeology.

Being able to bloodlust/time warp is the best thing ever. Actually having physical control over it is bloody awesome. No more shouting "BLOODLUST!?!?" "GOD DAMN IT, BLOODLUST!" over and over again as I'm usually the person in raids/dungeons that has to call things like that out. That's something that's really surprised me that I've found when playing WoW. I have a natural tendency to want to lead raids, not sure why and never really been a strong leader in other things *hides admin rank here :P* it's something I find really enjoyable and it gives those boss kills something extra when it's your tactic or little bit of advice that made the difference. Even leading pugs and things of farmable content is much more fun and is one of the reasons I don't like joining pug raids and would rather create them.

DPS for me has fluctuated so much. I remember for one fight (can't remember which one) I had about 15k dps, then next time I ran the instance it was only like 7k dps. So no idea why that happened. Probably doesn't help that I currently have to use mage armour over molten armour on my mage as otherwise I run out of mana every other cast pretty much. Need to get slightly better gear before switching back.

Got my mage to 85 now and geared for hcs. So 2 85s already

You don't get rep on the cataclysm factions until level 85 from dungeons, so pointless getting a tabard before then.

The highest your level the more crit rating you need per crit % etc. Which is why DPS doesn't change a huge amount on the way to 85 and even goes down in some cases from 80.

14-Dec-2010 - Damage Soaking and New Hitsplats
I assume this is because they've been able to balance dungeoneering much much better without these changes as it was something entirely new. This is assuming you mean the armour in daemonheim itself.

Got 85 tonight. 24 hours, 32 minutes and 50 seconds (of logged in time) it took to get there from 80. http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Frostmane&cn=Mijati Should update soon (still showing me as level 80 lol.

Beat this?
Locking this as there really is no discussion value to be found here. Thanks.

Jagex can track trades, they have been able to for a very very long time (probably since sometime in classic). That's not the problem. In WoW most of the items you get are untradable, they're worthless. Having gold in the game while it might give you a small advantage is almost unneeded to actually beat the content in the game. A lot of things gold is used for is purely cosmetic or to gain some short term benefit (such as buying a BoE epic instead of waiting for one to drop). In Runescape the economy and items are a huge huge part of the game. The fact that you lose items when you die proves that. To level most skills you need to spend gold (or spending gold makes those skills much much easier to train). These skills are needed to actually play the game and advance in it unlike professions in WoW. All combat equipment (well 99% of it) is bought with money in Runescape and has actual value to other people. Then there's the fact that Runescape servers are all linked unlike WoW servers which are self contained and of course there are discontinued items in Runescape. What would you suggest Jagex do if someone gets their account stolen with a party hat on it, then it gets sold on the GE and someone innocent gets it. Jagex then comes along and restores that party hat to the original account, thus duplicating the item, not the best thing. While yes, it does suck for those few who do end up losing things they've worked hard for if Jagex did start giving back items it'd have huge effect on the game and really it shouldn't happen. And of course you'd get all the people who send in fake claims that they lost their party hat when their account was stolen or when they died with their item and lost it they'd pretend they were hacked and thus waste Jagex's time. So yeah, if you'd stopped for a minute to think about it then there's no way Jagex can do anything and your comment directed at Jagex has no basis to it other than it looking like you're trying to come off as cool for insulting them.

Protip: GM's give you your stuff back, unlike the failures at Jagex Because the two games economies are completely different and items/gold matter infinitely more in RS than they do in WoW.

03-Dec-2010 - New Jagex Store
Or people wear them because THEY like them. I wear my ZMI hoody a lot and not one single person has questioned me on it. If someone noticed it and asked me about it then I'd have no problem admitting that I play. It's nothing about showing it off to people, at least for me. I have a decent selection of t-shirts and often get complimented on them but I don't wear them for that, if it's something I like I don't care what other people will think as it doesn't bother me.

I preferred their old ones. Glad I have my ZMI hoody already. And my Rare Black Lobster t-shirt. The old ones had much more personality in my opinion and these ones just seem much more generic. But maybe it's just me.

Super Meat Boy
Game is broken as hell, doesn't want to go into windowed mode. And worst of all when I touch Bandage Girl in level 2, the game crashes. Apparently other people have problems with other characters not working (most of them by the looks of it), falling through walls/floors and various other things. Fairly disappointed with this release to be honest, the game is unplayable in its current state. It's a shame as the XBL version seemed to be fine upon release, how did they mess up the PC release so much?

Starcraft 2
I assume the installation is just like WoW in that you can copy it across to another computer without having to reinstall it. Can't confirm this though. But just putting it on an External drive then copying it across to your new PC should work.

Jagex is planning to make a brand new MMORPG?
I imagine this is still very very early in the making. As Stellar Dawn is looking like a 2011 release for sure I'd not expect to see this until mid-2012 at the absolute earliest (assuming it's an entirely new MMORPG). Although I guess it'll be borrowing a lot of tech from Stellar Dawn. No clue what it could be though.

Starcraft 2
Yeah, those two games were awesome. Shame the same couldn't be said for the other 3 in the series. No fantastic GSL games today which is fairly disappointing, hopefully tomorrow is better though.

Super Meat Boy
Yeah, annoyed at the release time too. Doubly annoying as I'll just have left for work at that time so won't get to play it until tomorrow most likely :(

Two new promotions!
We're pleased to announce that Danqazmlp is now a Super Moderator and that Shiny is now a Global Moderator! Both have been doing fantastic work in their previous positions and we're sure they'll keep that up in their new roles. Congratulations to both of them!

Updates
Can you say" HERBLORE INFLATION ONCE MORE?" With a skill that already costs a fortune to get a big update, it just makes it even more expensive to just level it up in general. Cost me a bundle to level it up for quests because of updates :| My impression is they're trying to lower the cost of the skill. With getting 2nds back using the Dungeoneering scroll and the ability to get double herbs while farming it seems that is the case. Although we're not sure how the double harvest will work yet.
