The new scroll sounds awesome, imagine using it for overloads, some torstols back? Yes please! That and the other herblore update (double harvesting of herbs!) makes it seem like they're trying to make herblore cheaper, which is great. Also that necklace + bonecrusher seems like a good combo for slayer.

This is totally different, and your goal isn't to finish something the fastest possible. Which is fine. the problem is that for the people who do want to be fast, they don't really have any options. My main point was that if I went to do dungeoneering like you're talking about I would research it before hand and I think that people should do the same so they don't slow it down for other people. Which seems to be what you were referring to in the topic unless I'm mistaken?

I think that if people are joining these "PUG" teams they should at least have a decent idea of how to do the standard methods of clearing a floor but really there's no way to check that and not really any way to easily teach them. Personally I duo floors with a friend, we take our time and don't do it efficiently at all but we have fun while doing it which I think is the most important thing. I'd have no idea how to do 5 man larges and I'm sure people would shout at me for doing things wrong (such as having a Primal rapier bound as my weapon). If I decided to go down that route further down the line then I'd either go with friends until I have the hang of it (and to be honest I'd be much more likely to do that than pug it). And/or read up on how to do it beforehand just to make sure I wasn't dragging the rest of the team down too much.

Frost is a PvP and levelling spec really. As far as DPS, I think fire is pretty much equal to arcane, although arcane is probably better at mid/low level gear in 80s (god damn 4.0.1 patch killing my crit making fire suck for me now :(). No clue at 85 but I imagine they'll be similar, just pick whichever one you prefer.

Should be a nice update, will be interesting to see what the new rewards are and to also see what new puzzle rooms there are (only things I'll be be able to do :P). Will be a while before I can do them (only did my first occult floors today) but I'm sure all the other parts will be interesting, especially what the true skill mastery does (assuming that's with this update).

out of interest, what league are you in? Only gold. Playing knowing 1.5k people are watching it live turns out isn't the best situation to be in, nerves really got to me and that's probably the worst I've ever played. I somehow had 200 minerals somewhere so I just threw down the 2nd gateway lol.

I had that happen at KBD before, was killing it with a friend then he got a random event and the KBD just vanished. Think it took longer than normal to spawn too iirc.

This is indeed the case. There's two "rare" drop tables. There's the standard one, which has gems, half keys, rune javelins (5), dragon spear, shield half which is effected by RoW. Then another one that contains: 150 Steel Arrows, Natures/Laws/Deaths (45 or however many is dropped), Dragonstone, rune spear, Rune 2h, Dragon med and a few other things that slip my mind, these are not effected by RoW. Every monster (I'm 90% sure) other than KBD that drops dragon meds uses that drop table for it. Not sure if it's a separate table or they just dump those drops into the normal one.

I need to start playing this however each time I try to I get shouted at for not knowing what I'm doing. Or using the abilities at the wrong time and things that I need time to learn how to do properly. That's why I've not played much, don't have time to play a game where I can't practice what I need to without pissing other people off.

I have removed the flaming in this thread, if you see it in the future please report it instead of quoting it. Also, do not flame people for answering your questions, no one in this thread has done anything wrong so acting like they have is a waste of your energy and time. Also telling people to "get out" of the thread is NOT going to be tolerated here. If you continue to post things like that then action will be taken against you. Clues and Effigies can be dropped together and thus are in separate parts of the drop table, you can also see this by noticing how long they take to appear on the floor after a kill. Chewed bones are "normal" drops from mith dragons and thus can be dropped alongside charms, effigies and clues. Clues have no effect on effigies nor the other way around. Just the simple fact that you can only have one clue and they don't drop if you have one proves that.

Wow, read what I JUST posted. How the hell would you even legitly know? The only people that could provide an overall statistic would be Jagex. & Them alone saying so & so DID IN FACT profit of such and such would make them look bad - How it did from the start before they provided that possible hoaxed info. I guarantee you some people made out quite nicely. How would I know that they had lots of them? Because I saw screenshots, various people saw them in game and confirmed that they had them, so yeah it did happen. I wasn't arguing with your point at all (which isn't much of one and makes no sense to be honest), I was pointing out to the person who said no one had thousands of them, they're wrong, some people did and I was providing an example of that. Several Jagex mods have said that the effect the climbing boot change had on the economy was microscopic, much less than all the money bought into the game each day, they've even said this to me in person from the mod who is responsible for managing the prices of the items in the GE. So yeah, people did profit off it, not many had thousands but still a lot of people profited off it. I had a few hundred in my bank just a few months before this and sold them off so I could have easily profited from it if I held on and I hadn't even PKed in ages. The reaction from the community had a much bigger effect on the economy than the actual change itself.

People did make a lot of money off the climbing boots change, I am not going to give any names but someone on staff here profited from it and made a few hundred million for one, I'm sure they're not the only one.

Apparently someone at Jagex has been playing too much Super Sribblenaughts and has started putting "Giant" in front of every item. Never had this happen to me before but seen it here a lot, just a glitch.
