  1. You aren't guaranteed a "guaranteed" item, if you get another clue specific item. so the bow still counts :shades: Fairly sure one of the slots is reserved for Comp Bows/Pages/Sweets/Biscuits/God Arrows/teleport scrolls. Just checked over my pictures and it appears you're right :o.
  2. That's probably true but I guess we'll have to wait and see what sort of MMO it turns out to be. I very much doubt it'll be an RPG (not a straight out one anyway, maybe have RPG elements to it). Hopefully it's at least a semi-successful game and won't be an outright failure. Will be interesting to see where it releases compared to Stellar Dawn too as I doubt Jagex will want them both coming out around the same time, if Transformers comes out first and does indeed flop then that could have a huge impact in Stellar Dawn's publicity and gathering new players. With 8Realms, Stellar Dawn and now this Transformers game coming out over the next 12 months it's interesting to see what will happen with them.
  3. It will. There is a reason all of Jagex's products since RS have failed: they don't give a [cabbage] about quality. They can get away with it with RS, because most of their customer base is either too addicted to quit regardless of what Jagex does or they have invested so much time that jumping ship doesn't seem like an attractive option. With a new MMO, they have to develop a brand new customer base for it, and that is quite hard when you have a reputation for churning out half-baked, buggy, conceptually-flawed products. Yes, them not releasing MechScape due to them thinking it wasn't any good is them not caring about quality. The only games developed by Jagex have been RuneScape and FunOrb. FunOrb was made by an entirely different team and has had limited success although it was a huge let down but things like Arcanists have a fairly decent player base. That is all Jagex have developed and released so far. So I'd hardly say they're "churning out" anything at all. Having the 2nd biggest MMORPG in the world is a huge feat and clearly shows they know what they're doing when it comes to MMOs. And the MechScape base is being used for Stellar Dawn which is separate to this, while it's not inconceivable that this will be working on the same engine it won't be anything like Stellar Dawn/MechScape at all most likely.
  4. I'm sure they'll release Stellar Dawn information when they're ready to. MechScape and Stellar Dawn are two separate games and should be thought of individually despite the fact that Stellar Dawn came from the ashes of MechScape.
  5. Why are you saying Stellar Dawn is failed? Nothing about the game has been released yet. I honestly have no idea why people are saying this will fail either, there's literally NO information on it. As usual it's the same group of people claiming Jagex are doing it wrong and that the sky is falling after everything they say and do. There's no denying that this is a huge IP for Jagex to get and it will be interesting to see how well the game does.
  6. A "kids" TV show that's original fanbase are now in the prime 25-35 age band that spend the most money. Its an optimal group to market for. I think this game will be more than meets the eye and am looking forward to hearing more about it. Just because you're interested in a kid's show doesn't mean the vast majority of the populous is. Just because you're not, doesn't mean the vast majority of the populous isn't. Transformers is more popular then you realise. It is a huge license for Jagex to get.
  7. Perhaps they could use the failed "Mechscape" as a basic model? What happened to mechscape? I am still waiting for that one. It was scrapped due to it not being as good as they'd hope. Parts of it will be going towards Stellar Dawn, not sure exactly what but I imagine lots of art etc. mainly. It's a good thing they cancelled it rather than releasing a terrible game, it's great to see a company do that. (Not good that it wasn't a good game though).
  8. They are selling out, damnit! What else are they doing? They're basically multilogging with a skiller on the side for some side money... Not fully paying attention to their main at a cost of raising the skiller. Jagex are a games Development Studio. If they were to only develop Runescape, they would probably be called Runescape. To be a games Development Studio, they have to develop bigger and bolder games, no matter how much people dislike it. Stay with one game and they will not expand, not grow and will probably die, fast. Jagex also Publish games so they're not just a Development studio :P. It will be interesting to see what sort of MMO this is. I highly doubt it'll be an RPG. And again will be interesting to see if it's going to be a full retail product or a browser based game like RS is.
  9. Nope, it's separate. This is a really big thing for Jagex and hopefully it gets them more publicity that they need.
  10. The chances of 4 items in one must be so low. Can't even imagine what it is. Really only 3 items as the comp bow is one of the "guaranteed" items. I've had a few triple clues myself. When comp bows were just like all other rares: And numerous doubles of course :P (even had the same item twice in one clue).
  11. I think the whole Troll area and quest lines are some of the funniest parts of the game, especially the names. I enjoyed the "Big Rock" part of the last Dwarf Quest. Looking forward to the pirate quest, hopefully it'll come out either today or tomorrow.
  12. Not a bad trip (4 chests). Still waiting for my first 1M+ barrows item (I hate you Tripsis).
  13. Nope, they've been around for a long time.
  14. One button press = One action is the rule. So one button press would be to right click, then the a different button press to "click" drop. Having it do this all for you in one button press is against the rules and counts as macroing.
  15. Thanks for the late message :P

  16. BTS states that one of the rewards is to "bling" our own cannons.
  17. Neither. You're fired

  18. Your hour is up. The teleporter is still not here and thus you're still fired.

  19. Get him to contact the billing department and they will be able to tell him why that's happened and how he can fix it.
  20. Thanks everyone :)

  21. Decided to buy some zombie impling jars to get stuff for construction XP and got this after about 1.5k jars :).
  22. Definitely EWIV but I doubt the smithing update will be coming with it but I guess we'll find out tomorrow with BTS March. Surprised it didn't come out today based on how early the previews were sent. Looking forward to it though, always loved these quests and hopefully Dylan paid attention to my request when I told him he should make these harder and/or make them "Redoable" after the quest for small additional xp or just for fun! (Random puzzles). He also said the theme might be rotation (I imagine this was very very early before the quest was designed, so don't take it as anything solid).
  23. I see you, stalking my profile.

    Urns

With prayer urns, you can not get the ashes out of them. You can only teleport them away. None of the other urns collect real items and also can only be teleported away. If you want to get more xp then bank your ashes and ecto them or use them on a gilded altar.
