  1. *Good thing that the functions on Grimy's forum move to random, not predefined/specific, positions. They move the mouse to anywhere within the item/button's width and height, not one given pixel. **Funny, I was unaware that using an imagesearch on my PC was against RuneScape rules. Why exactly do you believe it's against Jagex's rules to locate the position of a button based on imagesearch? And there was one post that mentioned looking for icons which was followed by me saying, "No, I don't use icon/imagesearch." All the functions on TEF use mathematical formulas to locate buttons and items, not icons. And one last thing... You're telling me their has to be an action for moving the x of the mouse, and another for moving the y? Lol? Where do you get this stuff? Moving +/- 5 pixels or whatever of a certain point, I wonder why you're doing that? It couldn't be to try and get around the macro detection would it? Looking for a specific section of the screen then directing the mouse to this location doesn't seem fishy to you at all? One of your scripts also looks for ore colour I believe it was then clicks that, are you honestly telling me that's not macroing? This isn't including your buttons to click on quick pray (move and click in one button press, against the rules) and such things. Using any sort of method to locate something IS against the rules and doesn't matter if it complies with the other rules, it has to meet all of them. I can't believe you're trying to argue that moving the mouse to a certain point based on the content displayed on the screen is perfectly fine. And to the last part, I never said that. A direction can be diagonal too ;). I honestly have no idea what you're talking about. Could you provide proof of these so called PMs? Or do you want to continue making ridiculous comments. Looks like a threat to me. I'll leave the ahk discussion to wicked so he can slap you with the vastly superior knowledge he has on the subject compared to your very little knowledge and misconceptions/ignorance. That quote was from a year ago now? If not more. Wicked was posting information about his scripts here, he was arguing that it was against the rules. I simply said if he's so certain it's against the rules he'd have no problem with it being posted would he? If it's fine then nothing would happen :). Not a threat at all, just simply stating the facts. Nor was the latter, I don't want to go into details but based on his previous posts he was lucky we hadn't taken further action against him previously. Also, having to dig pretty deep, bringing up a year old PM not at all related to this? lol. Or did Wicked forget to mention that fact.

  3. The May 31st "deadline" isn't real at all and I honestly can't believe people are thinking that and going by it lol.
  4. There are more rules than just that. And not all of them even meet that one. The only legit button presses: Move mouse x in one direction Left Click Right Click Anything that moves to a specific spot for example is against the rules. Especially if you've got it looking for a certain icon .
  5. There are still several scripts which are against RuneScape rules.

Yeah, the server issues are getting very frustrating especially with the occasional roll backs but I guess that's to be expected in the Beta. Lets hope it's improved soon as the game is a lot of fun, much more than I ever expected it to be (I really didn't like War of Legends so this came as a shock to me).

Console graphics aren't great :P. You'd be surprised, as I said I never got into War of Legends and never saw the appeal of this but there's just something oddly fun about it. Don't dismiss it until you've tried it anyway.

The Closed Beta Launched today and was wondering if anyone else has got a key yet? So far they've only given away 2,000 keys via Facebook and I believe they've all gone as of now but I guess more will be going out over the next few days. I got in to it and am enjoying it so far. It's basically like War of Legends, Civilization and Age of Empires had a baby and there you have 8Realms. Although I guess that's simplifying it a bit. When more keys are released you should give it a go, it definitely has promise and appeals to me a lot more than War of Legends ever did (which I've played about 20 minutes of total, I've already put an hour or two into 8Realms!) 9. Business, that's 1 reason. thats probably the only reason to. In my personal opinion its sad that they gloat that they are the number 1 free game but refuse to give f2p players cosmetic items with no stats. Veteran and Classic capes both have stats.
  10. Pink cape for all stats 70? That's a good reason as any to train all stats to 80 then, damn you Jagex! REally liking the Classic Cape Hood though, looks awesome
  11. It didn't just happen again, the dates coincide pretty much with the original breach.
  12. What about someone who created their account in classic in didn't really play until after RS2 came out? Should they get it too then as they didn't "play" RSC? While it would be nice if the cape was a bit more exclusive I guess the 10 year cape will fill that role pretty well.
  13. The difference is I never once claimed for a fact that she did report the bot, merely suggesting that she might have done. You're the one claiming 100% to the fact that she didn't report the bot. I imagine they have a huge backlog of reports to look through, hence why it wasn't dealt with in "several hours". Again that's not proof that she didn't report it. While it'd be awesome if the turn around was as low as a few hours (or even lower) that's not realistically possible. I imagine every single one of the detection methods has to be manually checked to make sure that it is indeed correct and to check things such as the account being banned and looking at that person's other accounts to check for activity there (as stated in the post linked at the start of the topic). I would love for them to be banned almost instantly when they're reported and I imagine Jagex feel the same.
  14. ... and I am not the one hiding behind an Admin tag and dragging the thread off-topic ... :P Again ignoring the points in my post . How am I dragging it off topic, you're the one who bought things up about Player Mods, I am simply continuing the discussion from there, just because it's gone at a tangent doesn't mean it's off-topic. Your claiming the Player Mod didn't report the bot, with no evidence to back it up and yet continue to say that you're 100% correct and everyone else is wrong then go around throwing snide comments at people along with back handed comments. If you actually want to discuss things in General DISCUSSION then feel free to do so, but insulting people isn't going to get you anywhere.
  15. That's not proof at all, as stated she could have reported the bot for macroing and just ignored it at the same time (which is an option), just because she's chatting doesn't mean she's not reported the bot. You have no proof at all that she didn't report the bot. If you ignored it then how do you know that it wasn't muted or just reported by the player mod? And how do you know Jagex hasn't done anything about bots? They are being banned constantly. Do I think they're being dealt with quick enough and enough of them being dealt with? Not even in the slightest, there needs to be more done against them and I don't think anyone is denying that. However stating that they're doing nothing about it just shows your ignorance. No I didn't. I've written and contributed to more guides than you could imagine, I wrote about 50% of the content for another RuneScape fansite before it was closed, wrote quest guides for quests before most people had even finished the quests. Have the most viewed Dagannoth King Guide on YouTube along with several other videos, have written editorials for RuneHead and Tip.It. I had my chat as the chat for another community I am part of for a while. Not to mention my work here as an Admin and Moderator. And how do you know what I do in game? Again more baseless comments from you with absolutely no backing. Kissing Jagex's Ass? Just because I don't declare the sky is falling each time they say something doesn't mean I support everything they do, in fact I bet I actually have problems with more things they do than you do, I just don't publicly announce that. And I honestly have no idea what you're trying to say with that last comment, that I am friends with a few females here? What does that have to do with anything? I'm not the one claiming things as fact and then not supplying any evidence to back that up.
  16. Seems to be a 50/50 month, while nothing seems to be terrible content there just doesn't seem to be anything stand out there. The mining thing sounds very interesting and hopefully provides an alternative way of training Mining, plus the gold armour set sounds useful. The capes will be nice but not really a whole lot of actual content there. Hats are useless to me but I guess some people will enjoy it anyway. The upgrades week sounds good and will see what else is included in that. And finally the quest/dungeoneering things could be interesting but again will have to see, certainly the most promising thing this month anyway. Overall, fairly decent updates but nothing really stand out. Although content isn't everything and I think what a lot of people seem to quickly forget are all the small changes which occur which end up having a long lasting effect on the game. Ignoring all content over the last couple of years the game has improved immensely yet all those are forgotten and the content is what is focused upon. I have a feel that this month will be very much one of those months.
  17. Oooo off-topic baiting by an admin, lovely =D> Yes -- being part of the problem isn't reduced only to in-game activities, apparently ... Care to respond to my post at all? Or do you not have a reasonable answer to any of them? You're not very good at this discussion thing it seems. "Lets make my argument look valid by ignoring all the points that downplay my side!" Closing your eyes and putting your fingers in your ears isn't going to make the post go away.
  18. And again I ask, how do you know that they didn't report the bot? You're ignoring my questions because you don't know, you're just assuming. And again also, why didn't you report the bot and add them to your ignore list? And if you'd actually read what I posted (that'd be a huge surprise to expect someone to do I know) I said I would have reported them, of course you ignored that too because it would mean you couldn't make a funny comment about me right? Also as you seemingly know everything about what makes a good mod it's a surprise that Jagex hasn't asked you to be one isn't it . You're not part of the solution either by assuming others will report people and not do it yourself, so can't really say that to me when I said I would have reported them...
  19. As I said in my previous post, how do you not know that the player mod didn't report the bot? Maybe they play with their chat off so they didn't see the spamming and thus didn't do anything. And how is it "mod wannabe" to report people breaking the rules? If you're complaining that someone else isn't reporting someone and you don't do it yourself then you can hardly complain. It doesn't matter if that player is a Player Mod or not. If you had reported the bot and added them to your ignore list like I said then you wouldn't know if the Player Mod had reported or not. You can't expect others to do everything for you which is what you seem to be expecting in this case. And if I was in that situation then yes I would have reported the person in question if they were indeed a bot and spamming, I never said otherwise.
  20. Player Moderators are not forced to do anything, I'm not saying that the player moderator shouldn't have reported that person but they have absolutely no requirement to. And for that matter, how do you know that the player mod didn't report the bot? And again I point out your hypocrisy, if you do not use all the tools available to you to stop something then you can not complain when others do the same. If you reported them for botting then added them to your ignore list it wouldn't matter to you if the Player Mod did anything or not. You had enough power yourself to stop it being a problem for you (which is what you seem to be complaining about, saying how it was spamming when you were banking) and yet you seemingly did nothing about it. Your problem to deal with then and you can't complain about anyone else.
  21. Player Moderators are not forced to do anything different while playing the game. Just because they have the power to report does not mean they should. People who call Player Mods to come do something are the most irritating people in the game, "I know a Pmod I'll get them". As a Player Moderator myself there is very very few occasions where I'd go somewhere and do something for the sake of taking action against somebody, it would have to be a very extreme case that needs urgent attention to stop a risk of safety for others. Also, use your ignore list. I've told you many times before yet you seem to have a problem doing that and always complain about people continuing on saying/doing bad things. Your ignore list exists for a reason, use it. Once again, a PMOD demonstrates that they, like Jagex, don't give a tinker's damn about the state of the game. Go figure. Believe me I do. But if I'm in the middle of doing something then you ask me to come with you to just report people I'm not going to do it unless it's a VERY extreme case. You've clearly demonstrated that you have no idea what the role of a player moderator is in game. It is not a player mods job to do the reporting for you. If you don't bother reporting yourself and refuse to use the other tools available to you then it's very hypocritical of you to complain when Player Moderators aren't using their tools, is it not?
  22. You're just jealous no one ever visits your profile

  23. Broad arrows is the way I levelled fletching. Only problem is the 10k limit per 4 hours on broad arrow heads on the GE (and 20k for headless =/). Fairly expensive (mainly due to the fact that you can't sell the arrows) but it's fast xp.
  24. iirc I lent you some money just before free trade was gone... just saying :P. Think it was you anyway, been a few years now.
