  1. Cannoning Wallasalki might be an option if you don't want hits XP. They drop a decent amount of blue charms. Although I've not been there since shortly after summoning's release so they could have changed.
  2. Hm, I'm probably wrong but I thought I remembered Jagex saying that ROW only affects monster drops. Taken from the game guide in the knowledge base: It does not mention clues as one of the non-monster drops it affects. So no, it does not affect clues. Actually, it does. [qfc]13-14-882-62544610[/qfc] That's ambiguous though, does it mean it increases the chance of rare items from monsters and rare items from clues. Or does it increase the chance of rare items from drops, and chance of clue scrolls. It's not been confirmed which it is so really no way of telling. I've noticed no significant difference either way.
  3. Grand Exchange update there is interesting. Looks like there won't be a central point where it all happens but will be spread out in each corner which should hopefully cut down lag.
  4. Fair enough, there was absolutely no evidence or reason it would do that seeing as no where does it state it hits multiple targets. Wouldn't be surprised if that's a bug but you never know.
  5. Why -- it was this one: .. or have you forgotten your little (edited) rant? I sure haven't ... A post about the update in a thread about the update is off topic? Can you please explain that one to me as it has me stumped.
  6. Save your keystrokes, Everyonedies -- that one is impervious to everything ... 1) Make a post 2) Someone responds to the post 3) Ignore their post and instead make comments towards them. This forum is called general DISCUSSION. If you're not prepared to discuss things than what are you doing here? You either have nothing to respond to due to knowing you've been proven wrong or you're just a troll posting things with no intent to respond to them and only posting them to get a response then go around making comments towards others. This isn't the first time you've done this and I'm sure it won't be the last. ... and once again you're chastising ME when it was YOU who took the thread off-topic. Please show me which of my posts (other than the one you just quoted, which is more of a moderating post than anything, telling you to stop posting trolling comments and actual partake in the discussion on these boards which they are designed for) where what I said was off-topic? And again, I would really actually appreciate a response to my post, although I'm assuming that's too much to ask from you. Ignoring questions and people disagreeing with you doesn't make those points go away. When you post something which is prompting a response ignoring the response to it is rude and just makes you look silly. You're not helping the discussion at all by posting something then leaving any counter points to those which you have made then coming back into the topic later and telling others not to bother posting.

  8. Uhh, that's called defence. All attacks are affected by defence, expect for Korasi's. This special seems like it could be useful against low defence monsters. By the sounds of it, it won't be too useful in PvP because it stops if your opponent is out of range. Hmmm - if you're in a multi-target zone, is the special multi-target too? No... why on earth would it do that? Seriously have no idea how you somehow even thought it might do that and what you're basing that on. People really need to learn to read the knowledge base when updates come out (or at all) the number of stupid questions I saw while in game was crazy. I managed to read up on everything and was still the first one on my server to the new area and got in a number of kills before anyone else showed up whilst still knowing what I needed to know about the area. 1. Not everyone has access to the knowledge base before it comes out, like some people do. (b) Not everyone has access to Runescape, or the knowledge base, when new material is released. Runescape is a blocked site from my workplace, and I am at work at the moment, so bear with me. (iii) You DO realize that, 65% of the time, the Knowledge Base, when releasing new material, is WRONG, don't you? 1) The knowledge base is updated before the game update is live, most of the time anyway. Usually from the moment the news article is up (and sometimes before). I had time to read up on everything to get at least a basic understanding before the 10 minute countdown had finished. b) People who are playing at that moment in time obviously have access to the RuneScape site. There were people asking what the various fruits do, when it clearly states that in the knowledge base. iii) Making up statistics does not help prove your point. While there is quite a lot of information which is off, the general premise and information in the knowledge base is correct. It's usually only numbers which are off which I imagine is due to the team that update the Knowledge base using outdated figures given to them by the developers. Using the knowledge base is a fantastic way to get the basic understandings of an update, which many people seem to lack. So no, it's not wrong when releasing new material if what you're looking for is information and a general feel for what the update contains. I'm not sure how many people fall into the category of Blyaunte and myself but nearly all runescape things are blocked from my job so tip.it is the only place i can get any upto date info on whats happening in game. So that being the case cut those people like Blyaunte and myself a brake, WE CAN NOT ACCESS the knowledge base. Reread what I posted please, and you'll see that this wasn't aimed at anyone here. I specifically said it in the same line as talking about people asking stupid questions in game and thus why I said those who are in game can access the RuneScape site... Also, if you can't access the RuneScape site to play the game then why do you need the latest information on the game? Can you not wait until you can get home when you'll actually have access to the game and thus the knowledge base as well?
  9. Not very good. Not common and they only drop 1 at a time. Btw guys, Mage Def+Pray melee is the best way to go about this. I've seen MANY 130+ almost die because they went there in bandos and prayed mage. The thing hit 300+s on them. If you don't pray melee then they don't mage you. While they can hit high (300+) they rarely do and then a unicorn and some food will be enough to heal you up, won't even need that if you have soul split.

  12. Am really surprised these don't have a left click option. You'd assume they would. Really annoying trying to get any now.
  13. Don't try using Proselyte against them and praying melee. They mage too. Better off wearing melee defence gear and just "tanking" them as they only mage when they can't melee.
  14. The 201s seem easy. Fighting in Veracs so far and killed 2 without being hit. They drop noted herbs (1) so far had Spirit Weed and Lantadyme and Wegali. Each has dropped 4 Excrescence and 8 Mutated Vines. Plenty in the room too, which is awesome.
  15. Except it does take a lot more organisation to run a clan with 100 members than it does with 10, if they're both run to the exact same standard. Of course it's possible to have a 100 member clan that is very poorly run and such a clan wouldn't be able to advance their citadels anyway I'd imagine. Your original point was that a casual clan should be able to advance just as much as a hardcore clan. Of course a clan that actually do things together in game and spend more time in game would be more organised than a clan which consists of a bunch of friends who talk to each other and occasionally do things together.
  16. Why would a clan that has less members, is less active and is more casual deserve the same rewards as a clan which is a lot more active and "hardcore"? While there's nothing wrong with the former sort of clan it's a bit silly to suggest that they should advance at exactly the same rate as more serious clans. If you can't play as much you can't level your skills as much, if your clan can't play as much then you can't level your citadel as much. Fits in perfectly with the game currently. I never said anything about that; my gripe is with jagex's justification that the tiers are achieved for being better "organised" there's nothing more organised about having more active members. Seems like what you said to me (see bold). There's more organisation involved in a well run clan with 50 members than there is with a group of 10 friends who are just in a clan so they can talk and things rather than doing "serious" clan activities. Running a proper clan does require a lot of time and effort, something which a lot of "casual" clans lack.
  17. I actually enjoyed the quest a decent amount. The characters were amusing in their own different ways and the puzzles while a bit frustrating due to the nature of the controls etc. were fairly good. I did enjoy the room with all the doors and levers but maybe that's just me :P. I wish the quest was longer and had more to it as people said, it did seem a bit rushed. The controls were a lot better than most recent quests have been, A clockwork Syringe had the worst controls imaginable and completely ruined the quest for me. The main problem with the controls here was more to do with the UI rather than the actual controls. But Jagex are just starting out on having things like that in quests, I'm sure they'll soon figure it out and learn from the mistakes. I imagine that due to the nature of the engine never really been designed to do something like that (controlling others directly) is why it's the way it is.

  19. What are you doing here?!?!

  20. My friend somehow (I call hax) got it on video. He's fail with videos and made me upload it for him.
  21. Do I want to be Duderino DarkDude or do I want the prayer bonus...
  22. This picture has either confirmed my sanity or made my insanity more obvious. When I got my first shield half drop off greater demons it took me a second to realise what I got as I glanced and thought "Oh, Zamorak Robe bottom... wait they don't drop that!" Now when I look at that picture as I skim through I think "Hey cool, someone got a shield half drop" :wall: I'm going with the insanity.
  23. We have unstickied this thread along with the two clue threads due to lack of activity. Feel free to still post in them but we don't see the need to have them stickied, especially as most people are posting their clues/drops in the Screenshot thread in General Discussion :). Cheers.
  24. Please don't advertise rule breaking videos such as that.
