  1. A goal for our governments should be the end of human rights abuses that go on in China, the gold farming is just another subsection of those abuses. But the point in this news article, as I've said before, is that when you're buying gold from these Chinese gold farmers, you're not doing it from some guy trying to get through college. You're actively funding some guy getting his ass beaten with a PVC pipe because he didn't make quota the previous week. I somehow doubt that's true for the majority of gold sellers. And even if it were, I'd rather them make money off the prisoners than go back to finger-chopping.
  2. Mod Chris L is diamonds.
  3. "1. Brutal Beating. Besides punching and kicking, beatings are often carried out using police batons. Many have been beaten to death. Pregnant women have even lost their babies as the result of being kicked repeatedly. 2. Beating while a person is hung up. The person is hung up by ropes then beaten. Many deaths have occurred from this torture. 3. Handcuffing the hands behind the back. The most painful method is the "finger cuff," in which the hands are tied behind the back with one hand over the shoulder and the other hand against the lower back. The police then apply a great deal of force to pull the two hands toward one another and handcuff the two hands together. Death is caused by heart failure (due to extreme pain). 4. Burning with a hot iron. This used to be an ancient torture method, but unfortunately is still in use now. 5. Burning with cigarettes. This is commonly used on female victims. 6. Electric shocking. Besides electric baton shocks causing deaths, death cases were found from brutal beatings combined with strong ultra-violet ray shocks or electric gun shocks. 7. Strong light flashing in victims' eyes at a close distance, causing damage to the vision. 8. "Horse Stance" or "Riding the Motorcycle" position. This is a Chinese martial arts basic training position, but it is also used as a torture method, as it is very painful after prolonged periods. 9. Biting and tearing by police-trained dogs. 10. False execution by shooting. An empty gun is placed against the victim's head and the trigger is pulled. 11. Sexually deviant methods of torture. These involve stripping the victim's pants off then beating them up, kicking the private parts, poking them with a wooden stick, or applying electric baton shocks to the private parts. 12. Force-feeding human excrement and urine. Victims have committed suicide out of unbearable humiliation. 13. Humiliating interrogations or punishment. Using despicable means to place victims in extreme pain, especially means that insult the victim's dignity. " While still inhumane, I'd be signing up for the goldfarming over the above options.
  4. I can't imagine Jagex doing anything other than ignoring the...'issue'. If asked directly I'm sure it will be "against the spirit of the game".
  5. Hahahahaha... :wall: Nice counter point, bro. Thanks. I considered the triple facepalm but I realized your brand of ignorance is better equated to a head meeting wall type scenario. The laugh was purely cosmetic but I believe it did the post justice.
  6. Guild wars has no grind whatsoever (Besides titles which do nothing at all). It is a game built around competitive/fun play; money has no real value, items have no real value, you can get maxed weaponry for free. Yet people still bot. Don't delude yourself into thinking Jagex is the reason runescape has bots. What are the motivations behind botting in Guild Wars? I've never played it before. Money. As value-less as it is to any gameplay plats are still worth decent usd.

  8. Perhaps we should make use of the #NotIntendedToBeaFactualStatement hashtag.
  9. My new clue says I need to speak to 'by look' and I have no brainpower today....does anyone know what by look spells....and maybe where to find him\her?
  10. No way, it looks awful now. Ironically I had guessed that the second I buy a whip, Jagex would change it in the next update to make it look rubbish. Did you see before it broke into two pieces when you swung it ?
  11. But we can all agree it looks better than what it was yesterday..right?
  12. entangles take only nats, curse spells only take body runes...soul spells only take souls...pointless? no. Wow then let's all go *drool* cause we can hold an ugly stick that makes you save 1 inventory slot and some of your savings for basic runes... All the spells it helps with are for support mage pking and a support mage won't die for some low lvl runes lost or 1 less shark in stack. Ancient mages do the trick nowadays... I still think it's pretty pointless, other than ugly. Its uglyness is out of discussion from that pic, maybe from another angle it looks better. Sorry if as a lvl 122 i expected some more interesting stuff from a such announced update... Everything is not about pking -.-
