  1. Here's something that I've vamped up to express my thoughts about people who were known and liked amongst the forum. Good luck out there man, it can be a scary as hell world so remember your lessons learned in Runescape and remember us too  .
  2. You make some valid points and the additions would seem just. But some of these skills have been around for a while and don't get much change. Slayer and Farming are the only ones I could see being changed in that way the others only get SLIGHT updates to them with a release of a new item or a quest that involves them. I don't think Jagex likes to touch on their old creations (i.e. RSC). Besides you already CAN light arrows on fire, ever do Underground pass?
  3. Exactly what I was thinking. I think that a sticky aught to be made at the top of the General P2P and General forums that are purely there to catalog all of the Hidden updates that come along with an official update. One post at the top being the place where it is all compiled and the remainder can be a spot to post about a hidden update. That way it gets it off the boards and people will see the Hidden updates! But then how can one comfirm that one update is new and one isn't that is the problem I see in it. I guess the flaming would be one key in finding out. Hmm.... :-k . Very astute. I suppose you're correct on this one, well played mirrorforced, well played. =D> edit: Had to add in one more smilie to get my message across
  4. I think you have to pickpocket a new one, and then take to old man, not sure though Yep, you've got to pickpocket Doc. Frankenstein (or however Jagex wanted to paradoy the name) and it SHOULD be the Unlocked one if you've done the Garden of Tranquility quest. No need to go back to the WOM.

  6. To those who are saying that it's too much to input into the game you obviously haven't seen the Cabin Fever quest. It's a HUGE sign that we'll be becoming pirates/sailors in the near future as it's introduced the looting system and how to sink another ship and even to board another ship! All it needs to add is bigger and better ships. Many people have suggested some sort of Sailing addition to the game including myself with Battle on the Open Seas. Ships WILL be a part of the game, it'll just take some time. POH's made it in there so why can't POShips  .
  7. Wow  ! Those are some pretty interesting results. Jagex generally tells us about the potential of items, but this might a nice little hidden thing. I think it might be sheer blind luck but hey, who knows. Keep using it and see if it works further. Try getting some tests done with it. Who knows, perhaps the ROC has more potential than we know 8-[ .
  8. Hey, that is actually a good first post. A real, decent question. This guide might be able to help you in your combat needs. http://tip.it/runescape/?page=combat_guide.htm
  9. I honestly dislike people who go to the F2P worlds just to show off to the other people. I understand it if you just walk around in your fancy schmancy armor, but rubbing someone nose in the fact that you have better armor than them is just not cool.
  10. Even for the ME quests? Weren't they better than Plague City and Biohazard? What about continuing a story? An original quest can only go so far, but the sequel goes further  .
  11. I will be attending this one! I'm looking forward to a fun filled time had by all! =D>
  12. Oh boy you sure zinged me! I'm shaking in my boots because of your file that no one will touch with a twenty yard pole whereas my measely little flash file has gotten over 200 hits the very first day it came out and is right now (only half way through the month) has gotten over 700 hits to it. Yikes, you're sure doing a heck of a lot better than me. That was me being a jerk. That's what happens when someone goes against my work. One last thing, that flash file took me under three hours of work. During that time I was STILL working on Construction as I made that game. Tefda:1 Convene_inc: 0 =; [-( \
  13. Everyone! Let's not condem him so quickly! Bloodveld also made a game in Gamemaker and he had some wise words to share about it. If you're not going to download it then just express caution to others who may download it. I myself am satisfied with my own (albeit simple) POH designer and I do not download ZIP files or EXE file off of the 'net unless they are from a trusted site/user. I will refrain from downloading this and I would like everyone to express caution when opening ANY EXE file that they download from ANY site.
  14. Your ideals and pseudo-code of ethics is almost inspiring. You like to stick to the role in which you play and I admire that. Now here's the problem with your code of honor as we might call it. Not everyone is playing by your rules. The world takes advantage of good guys that are "noble". The system is working for them so it must work for you. What is the purpose of fighting a battle if it isn't a fair fight? Make it fair and remove that advantage that he has over you and fight him man to man and enough of those overpowered effects. If he doesn't like the rules then you know he could only beat you in an unfair fight. If he fights you hand to hand then you'll have won the day. Don't be so stodgy as to think that just because you're a knight doesn't mean they cannot use magic. King Arthur was involved with Magic (he was turned into various animals), in other Fantasy novels some of the greatest Knights had rudementary abilities in Magic or Clerical powers. It gave them an edge over their enemies who were strictly sword-arms.
  15. Well at least you agree with the cause  . If you're really interested in helping out then come on down to world 59 whenever but ESPECIALLY on Friday afternoon. Check out the thread and you'll see a link for times. Come on over and help out!
  16. Actually that's a part of one of the Gnome or One Small Favor quests in which you speak to a prisoner, the King is up there as well. Normally he isn't, but he is when people are doing or just recently did that part of the quest.
  17. This list has gotten much bigger =D> (first new smilie for me). Glad to see World 59 up there. Friday event! Everyone come down there to help us out!
  18. <-That is exactly what I did when I saw the "screenshot". I'll take this Runescape over THAT Runescape any day.
