  1. Now either you're vying for attention from the Tip community or life is seriously beating you down. I'm not one to share personal details except for things like Graduation or that I'm going to college so I have a hard time trying to understand why you would be posting such intimate details. Now if you're actually depressed and have little understanding as to why you're here in the world when all these bad things are happening to you then I can offer you three things. First one, go to Church sit in a pew and do the normal routine, when you have a moment, pray, pray to whatever being you believe to exist and ask for forgiveness, ask for happiness, but most importantly thank the higher-being, Religious Faith is one of the foundations of man's happiness (I don't want to debate this, just take it as is). Next if you're not a religious man look at your parents understand that they have a bond with you that only through heinous acts can be broken (but not actually even broken, more so cut a little). These people (or person) love you, they look out for you, they're the ones that raised you into who you are today, strive to make them happy and by doing so you'll be improving upon yourself. Now if your parents aren't good people and you're left to yourself think things through. Take a couple hours out of your day and sit down and think about the world you live in and what you bring to it and take from it. If you sit there long enough and dive into the deeper levels of your mind, the levels that your day to day activities do not even come near, you'll find that life is brimming with opportunities, excitement, happiness, and all sorts of other things, some good and some bad. If you can sit down and think about these things you're on the first step towards being able to understand the world in a new light and thus being able to cope with such changes. The last thing, if you are in completely dire straights, so bad that the blade is coming closer and closer then seek help from your family, from a school psychiatrist, anyone else who is near to you and has your best interests in mind. Don't let the world collapse around you. Take the rubble from it and build yourself anew. Build a castle fortress impenetrable to any harm or fears but do not shut the gates forever as it is more important to experience the world and live with pain and sadness than shut it all out and become hollow and lonely. Think before you act, realize that the world doesn't revolve around you, and know that there are people that care for you and will help you if need be. Just because people move away or leave this world doesn't mean they're gone forever. They're still in your memory. Instead of mourning the loss of someone remember them more fondly than ever. Think of the good times, the bad times, and what you've learned from them and do not focus on the fact that they will not be around anymore because that is a lie. Everything they taught you, that they experienced with you is still inside your memory and your mind. You can visit someone anytime you want if you just remember them.
  2. I like it, fun and simple, wish the sound would work on Firefox though :( .
  3. Then I wonder why it only happens sometimes. :? Anyway, I uploaded the new recordings now, it should definitely work. I checked it myself. Jagex DOES make mistakes. One time previously they uploaded the quest details to Mountain Daughter (the One with the Bear helmet and the opposing pseudo-Fremminek tribe) and recently they put up a small bit of the Construction guide for anyone to find (although that one was much harder to find and was stumbled upon by chance I believe). So it's possible someone accidently hit Upload on that sound file and when they realized what they did they took it offline.
  4. Ah, talking about people in the third person, gotta love it. Honestly though, people will use whichever one they like better. More people have used NukeMarine's "Designer" than anyone elses on the forums. Again people will use whichever thing they want to, it's all a matter of opinion. I even said that my Flash file was simple. The reason why I got all uppity was because of two things that Convene said (even if it was in jest). Firstly he thought that game maker could make the better POH designer. But he is comparing it to a seventeen year old who has only had about two years experience with Flash and NO professional training. He too has never received training in Game Maker but I don't believe our handicaps will equal us out in either fields. The only REAL way to settle this pissing contest is to get the top developers of Game Maker and Flash to make their own POH designer and see whos is better by a vote from the Runescape Community. Now that is not going to happen anytime soon. Lastly he is telling me that he could make a better POH designer he is even saying that the statement was intent to be "rude". I decided to tell him exactly how my File was doing in comparison to his own. Now to the Game Maker users out there. I do NOT have preset tools and premade codes in Flash. I have to hardcode everything. I cannot simply "tweak" a space ship for it to be able to move with WASD instead of the arrow keys, I need to know how Flash itself works otherwise... it won't work. I'm not trying to start a debat between Flash and Game Maker and I do not enjoy trying to defend myself on another persons thread. I would like to say as a last point as I said before, if you want to download Convene's, go download it. If you want to use NukeMarines PAINT way, use his, if you want to use mine, go ahead and use mine. It does not matter whose you use so long as you're happy with your house. Stop debating between my own designer and Convenes. We're both providing a service here and I was simply trying to defend my designer, is it a crime to be defend your own work against wouldbe assailants? Convene has defended his own tool by telling people it is not a keylogger, it is a safe file, etc. I had to do the same but it was against Convene as he "attacked" my file and flash itself. It's done and over with and I'd appreciate it if people would get over it.
  5. Going along with sound, SOMEWHERE Jagex said that they were going to start updating their music along with adding in Ambient sounds. So perhaps this is a bit of a prelude to it.
  6. home teleport.... :? But the method the author suggested is useful if you can't get access to the Heros guild quickly with a games necklace or having your house located in Taverly.
  7. I'm 71 Agility now and am thinking of going to the Wilderness course. The werewolf course, you don't always get the good xp because you have a good chance of failing the Zip line bit. I know less about the Ape Atoll course and I'm wondering if it's worth it if you fail the big zip line there.
  8. Well out of the quests I've done it would have to be the Forgettable Tale of A Drunken Dwarf. Visually stunning, intriguing/intertwining plot. Recepie for Distaster sounds amazing, but I haven't started it yet.
  9. I'm wondering if the Robes of Eldinis will protect against the desert as the Desert Robes do. Can I get rid of my desert robes and go for the Eldinis robes instead? Also are there other alternatives to the Desert Robes?
  10. Wow! People have posted in the past how they've seen a guy with a similar name (such as they have an "o" while the other has a zero). But THAT is way beyond anything I've ever seen like that. Those odds are astronomical with the Time zones, Number of players, various locations. Just wow! =D>
  11. Yeah, consult the farming guide for places where you can plant it. It's very worthwhile if you plant it in a hard to reach location for yourself. Edit: I'm guessing you haven't done the Gnome Quests. The area you plant the tree in will allow you to teleport to there and back to the Gnome Maze area.
  12. Wow! This is one pretty guide! Mind if I link to it in my Essence Gathering Guide?
  13. That makes me want to go Abyss RCing again! I've got 20k Essence just aching to bust out and be turned into Nature runes!
  14. Yes, that'll do just fine, it brings the attention straight to the Post since it would be the first one you see. I was looking for being able to view an individual post but this will work quite fine. Thanks =D>
  15. Ah, technically not true, you see you CAN push an old topic to the top of the forums if the post has something valid for the thread. Wolfy was adding definition to his original post, that being who is valid to join the forums and the ARSCV. The distinciton had to be made otherwise very few people would join yet another forum if it's only for Veteran-esque players. I think the post is valid and that's my story and I'm sticking to it \
  16. If I could buy one, I'd buy one. If that makes me a noob for having a very powerful and useful tool then that's what I'll be. I'd take the name calling for a cannon.
  17. Hmmm... I think I searched for a quest guide and I found tip.it and I started using it for all of it's quests and skill guides for RSC. I joined the forums for no apparent reason, probably to ask questions. I eventually started answering questions and participating in discussions and I've stuck with it ever since.
  18. Arrows, you're still getting smithing xp but you're also getting fletching as well.
  19. This is a more technical question, but it is still a question. To the Forum gurus out there, how do I link directly to only one post. I just want to link to a certain post on This thread but I don't know how. Anyone help me out?
  20. :-({|= Well that's the skill I'm sticking with as the most boring skill. So I do apologize for interfering with your thread.
  21. To me Ranged is pretty boring. I play a Ranger in D&D but a ranger in Dungeons and Dragons (pen and paper ftw!) has far more abilities than to just shoot a bow. All you do is sit in a remotely safe area and then pick off enemies, but slowly! Agility, Thieving, Firemaking and Woodcutting to me are fun as they're something that few people level up on (except for woodcutting) and I am proud to have 70+ in those stats.
  22. Here's a link for the times in case someone doesn't know their times. Check your time here
  23. Are we just talking about Human cities? Keldagrim is an amazing place with the Consortium and all. I remember running missions for them when the quest first came out, was quite fun. Keldagrim is also home to the Blast Furnace/The smithing guild. There's always Lletya which is the closest thing we have to an elven city. It's beautiful there and has many redeeming qualities (nearby Magic Trees, Incredibly close Flax fields, etc). But if we're talking about Human Cities than I must say that Yanille (for the moment) is my favorite city. It has the Magicians Guild (which I can't get into... yet), the Agility Dungeon is nearby (You shall die Salarin, you shall die!), and of course there's the Ogres and Castle Wars close by as well. Also the Watchtower has an interesting storyline which I hope is expanded even further.
  24. Thats the state of pest control in world 78 these days :( :-k Has World 78 really decline? I haven't been there in a while but am going back to get some Ranged levels. Are the games still fast or is it just filled with idiot players? Is it still the premiere place to go?
  25. A few of them CAN be debated such as the random scenario, was that Temple Trekking or Treasure Trails or is there something still yet to come. But for the majority of these they've hit most of them and I'm happy with the game as are most people. So good job Jagex =D>
