The REAL Undisputed Best Old School List Of True Pkers
Ah, I can't remember who is who in the forums! I assume that was Swifty posting? Neither one do anything for me. I think he is a really old *original* RSD member. The RSD you are thinking of that you probably used to pk were like RSD newer version.

hey, I still play RS every week. Just not for a long time. :)

Tip.It Times - 3rd July 2011
I read the two articles. Here are some comments. Underhand Methods Always Fail Year of Crass Marketing - nice! lol I do find the new loyalty program annoying and crass but generally harmless. Basically, I don't like it but neither do I feel very passionate hate towards it. More like "meh" sort of reaction. I thought I was the only person in RS who ever complained about this. Seriously, why does Jagex think that adding more and more stuff that is basically the same as everything else is the best way to update RS? If you look for an old interview you will find the reason why - according to Jagex whenever they do a big update they see a surge in memberships. That was some years ago and they have not changed their tactics. I mean like it's always "oh lookie here, an update where you can get more arrows!" or "new armor, super rare" or "another quest with more items" all the time for years and years. Having said that, it's not all negative. I do like certain updates that help players like clan support, friends chat, anything that makes social interaction and gameplay smoother. ;) Why don't they do more things to shake things up instead of adding more arrows all the time? Silence Is The Best Security Paranoia fuel!!! However, is it still paranoia if they really are out to get you? I have had numerous people saying they want to hack my account. Great topic.

[DevBlog] Loyalty Programme
Aws when I stop doing members payments every single month they release a loyalty program! What about my year sand years of p2p? Nvm, it's all good. I thought so, too. I would even prefer them to be cosmetic only.

Old School! Post Your Pictures!
LMAO, I remember doing that back in the day. I had like 2 agility and I almost died from the agility traps, OMG! I was already high level but I didn't have teleport runes on me because of overconfidence so I had to call a friend to extract me from that awful place. :ohnoes:

How many people have maxed out? Part 5
Oh does this mean there hasn't been a decrease in active players then?

Feedback: Bot Threads in General Discussion
Leave it as it is or at least keep it in one thread that isn't a sticky.

How many people have maxed out? Part 5
You're reading it wrong... How?
-
How many people have maxed out? Part 5
Wow the number of additional maxed players is going down every year? People must be playing RS less and less! This is more convincing than the "sad graphs" thread before.

Tip.It Times - 24th April 2011
About the second article by Crocefisso, "something quintessential to the patchwork of the game" is slightly wrong grammatically speaking. Try "the quintessential newbie experience" or something. I've not tried the Gnomecopter Tours it sounds interesting from what I read on your article so good job there. :)

'HYT' and what happened here?!

RuneScape Cache issue
I thought it was just me! I updated java so I thought it wasn't working properly. I should have known it was just RS running funny again.

Meet one of Jagex's new owners
Great stuff, merchandising and producing stuff like RS books, toys, movies, animated features, etc is a good way to raise money for the game without raising membership fees.

Tip.It Times - 17th April 2011
Oh I see. My problem is that I have no idea what The Kite Runner is, you know, because I watched 300 (not a joke, I watched 300, it's a great cheesy movie!).

New Forum: Metagame Discussion
Actually, linking a website is not the same as advertising. For example, if there is an interview of Jagex from Escapist Magazine, I could certainly link to Escapist as the source if I were to talk about the interview.

New Forum: Metagame Discussion
What does this mean? Are those people still going to link to their own site (as I have seen them do in other threads but mods removed their links) or are they closing it down and staying here?

Tip.It Times - 17th April 2011
The article about clans was a little boring but informative enough. :) I'm not saying it's bad but here are some tips: "The Clan Camp" as a title is lacking in that certain something that makes a person want to read more. When writing a title, "Clan Camp: (put your idea here)" is better than just "The General Topic" type of title. For example, which title is better "The Return of the Wilderness" or "Wilderness is Back - and People are Staying Away in Droves"? The first is okay but the second grabs your attention and tells you exactly what to expect. :) The first paragraph is also a bit strange. So about the UN and Jagex? It doesn't seem to have any bearing on the matter at hand. Stay focused on your topic and don't get distracted by extraneous things. The sentence "It is a constant of human behaviour, and the exact reason that a majority of people opt to watch a film such as 300 over, say, The Kite Runner." is weird and out of place, I don't understand what you are saying at all. I take it this is the writer's first article in the Tip It Times? Congrats! It's a good article, don't be afraid to spice it up just a little bit, IMO.

Is anyone else just completely disappointed with everyone?
Good lord! No. Voting for bans is silly. Most people do not care about the rules, it will just turn into a popularity contest. Do we have a good ban appeal system though? In case some rule breakers want to mend their ways?

Is anyone else just completely disappointed with everyone?
A forum without rules? Only if it's not open! That's not a good idea for Tip It but it's a good idea for another forum. One time we had a pking forum for pkers and it was also fun. Flame-filled post wars and such were on there every few hours but come on, it was all about pking, what would you expect? Actually the feeling on Tip It at the time was "they all left. good riddance to those flaming fools!" Admins here practically did a dance of joy. All the trolls left to join the no-rules forums. I also recall we had a private invitation-only forum (not on Tip It), twice. This was for all the "good" posters only. Why doesn't someone make a new forum like that instead of a big, open forum any *cough* person can join? Yes, you did. Not explicitly, but you did. That's your interpretation. *shrugs* I honestly did not mean it that way but if that's the way you chose to take it then that's your call. As I have said, I have personally joined break off groups lol (three time that I can recall) and I wish your group well. It's no skin off my back, I have nothing to lose or gain here. Basicaly I have two points that I want to cover: 1.) People have broken off from Tip IT before, it's nothing to cry or be alarmed by. Just let them go. Bye, guys and good luck. 2.) On the other hand, Tip It has, in the past, killed off one of their own forums because they alienated an entire segment of the RS player base. I'm talking about the clans. That was years ago and the clan forums here are still dead up to now. Tip It is not the only forum and if you focus on the rules instead of the user experience here then they will simply go off and find a better place - like what has happened in the past. So yeah, let those who want a different forum have their fun. Just make sure you give the posters here what they want. BTW, I am not in favor of the increased moderation.

Beware! Youtube scam going on
Too bad many RS players are too young to understand account safety. I'll bet you that guy was able to scam a few people.
