Today, my friends and I decided we are going to Kuala Lumpur for a 3 day weekend. We don't really know how we're getting there, or where we are staying, but we know that we're leaving here at 6.45 tomorrow morning, which is about 6 and a half hours away.

I got The Panic Broadcast and listened to it. I liked it, but its melo-death and Soilwork so it was inevitable that I would like it, but I'll have a proper listen to it soon, and really get an idea of the album. Speaking of Melo-Death, anyone like Raintime or Skyfire? I discovered them ages ago, and I think that Spectral by Skyfire is one of the finest albums ever recorded. And Raintimes cover of Beat It is just hilarious, but the rest of the Flies and Lies album kicks ass.

Night Comes Clean - Soilwork

Yes I am. I'm going to go looking for it today. I don't know whether its out here yet or not, or whether anywhere will stock it. I will probably do a proper blog review when I do listen to it.

Clearly Tarja was a better singer, but Anette is a better front woman. The time I saw them with Tarja was nothing like the time with Anette, and Anette was so much better on stage than Tarja. On CD, yeah, Tarja is better, but live, Anette all the way. And S.O.A.D. are brilliant, although I think I haven't heard one of their albums, but I love the rest of them. I really need to get a copy of Soilworks new album, it feels like I've been waiting forever for it.

I really think that the ref did a good job and didn't stop the fight. I don't think Lesnar was out at any point, although it was a prolonged amount of time Carwin was on top. But, as a title fight, and the biggest hyped fight ever, I think it is justifiable that it wasn't stopped without a clear submission or knockout. Also, Carwin got 1/10th the money Lesnar got for that fight for official payout.

Sounds like fun. I moved from the UK to Singapore so conditions are a bit different. I'll start doing more interesting things once I'm sorted. And I'll get they guys I'm with into running tooo =)

I just ran 2k in about 10 mins. I was pretty disappointed, but it was my first run in a week, and I have moved and don't think I've acclimatised yet.

Today, I said bye to my friends for 6 months. Tomorrow, flight to singapore, and living there for 6 months. win.

Tesseract rule. I saw them live 2 years ago, and it was wicked. My mate knows the whole band, but he moved away before they played locally, so i didn't get a chance to meet them. I'm currently trying to check out Ihsahn due to the recommendation on the previous page, and give a proper listen to Chthonic - Mirror of Retribution. Also, I'm very looking forward to Soilworks new stuff that should be coming out this year.

I thought the new Nevermore album was pretty average in comparison to This Godless Endeavor. I did enjoy listening to it. Although This Godless Endeavor is a wicked album, I prefer Enemies of Reality. Anyone catch Shining - Blackjazz? Possibly my favourite album released this year. Its a haggard Black Metal/ Jazz cross album, that is just chaotic at points, but its brilliant.

Alestorms album Black Sails at Midnight, was no where near as good as Captain Morgans Revenge. However, I really like Swashbuckles album, Back to the Noose, its wicked. Anyone heard of World Under Blood? I'm really looking forward to their album. It'll be their debut, but they've got Tim Yeung on drums, Deron Miller on guitar and vocals, and some other people as well. The tracks on their myspace are pretty rocking.

I listen to most kinds of metal, and consider my taste in music quite diverse. Any one hear Wretched - The Exodus Of Autonomy from last year? Critics were split on whether the album was any good, half said it was, half said it wasn't. i thought it was brillliant, and really enjoyed listening to it. Which albums are you guys looking forward to from the rest of this year? So far this year theres been some good and some bad albums. I was not impressed with Dark Tranquility's album, but loved Solution .45s.

Today, I cleaned both the inside and the outside of my car. And also sorted out all of the stuff I bought back home recently. And I made Flapjack, and well, I haven't been to the future, and I'm not too knowledgeable of the past, but it might be the greatest flapjack of all time.

Today i ran about 6k, in about 45 mins, slow i know, however, I am going to keep trying to run faster, get some proper shoes, and some running shorts, and really up my regime when I move in a month.

Today I had my first exam. It went well despite not getting any sleep last night, and I seem to be the only one to have answered one of the 2 optional questions.

Stand Up and Shout - Dio

Today I tried to revise all my topics for my upcoming exams. I am very stressed about them. And I just cant get into the mood to get on with looking at everything.

I currently live in Southampton, however, within 2 months I'll be living in Singapore, then I'll be back here next year. I like it in Southampton, everything can be walked to nearly, only use my car once a week, but thats mainly because the walk back would be very late at night and a long (hour and a halfish) walk. Not really had any problem with the area at all, have been here for nearly 3 years, and only have good things to say tbh. However I'm sure lots of people that live here will have negative things to say about it.

Definately one of the greatest vocalists of all time. He will be missed. RIP Dio.

Dio - Dream Evil album

I heard today, watching practice one for Monaco, that Buttons display on his steering wheel was out from lap 3, and that Schumacher was driving very defensively. Amazing driving from Button as thats the case. Practice today looks good, not got time to watch practice 2 just now, despite it being on right now. It looks like anyones at the moment. Should be crazy good qualifying, not too excited about the race. Sorry about the fact I'm posting again, but its been a few days, and its practice day =)
