In case people's wondering how JaGex can make 40m in 3 years of membership time, they don't. When they say Jagex's worth 40m, they mean JaGex stocks total at 40m market value. IE If the Gowers sold their portion right now, they'll have 73% x 40m of that cash. But that money's not earnt. The market cap have only indirect relationship to how much revenue JaGex actually earnt. As the article showed, Jagex earnt about $4m revenue for 2005, while their market cap is 40m. Grats again to Gower brothers for their success!

It's highly possible. I have noticed the same. I think it's a possibility that each portal is weak against one melee attack type: slash, crush, stab, ? All portals are weak against magic, btw.
