  1. Well if it's their choice fine, their decision. Problem is mostly when people start starving theirselves to death or doing physical or mental harm, or spending too much time on it and do not socialize, have fun, etc.
  2. In my opinion, love is nothing more than a human biological "booster" to reproduction. Just like hunger is an eating "booster". So, in the post which I quoted at first, "love"- is something related to sexuality love-??? If you can't define love why use it. How do you know if someone is in "love", or love. Please clarify. apinagez has a somewhat good way how love acts. Guess it's something to ensure the survival of the fitess.

*sigh* Don't tell me you watched that movie.. It's not impossible. It's just very difficult. What movie? And how the heck do you do it >_<? I think the movie was called 'Just Friends' or something like that. This overweight and funny guy was in love with his friend who was a beautiful and very fit girl. He asked her out and she said no (I think it's because she was in front of a ton of people from their school) and so he moved across the country, and led a successful life until he finally came home to see his family and ran into his friend. I won't give away the rest of it but in the end he got the girl ;) I'm not sure how to get out of the friend zone. I've known my gf for 2 months. So basically we became friends and quickly moved forward. I've never really tried to get out of the friend zone with any other girls.. Well, except for one but that didn't turn out well.. Long story, you don't want to hear it. I didn't see the movie but from the plot, it was downright shallow. The overweight guy had to get muscular and fit before he was reaccepted. If she says she doesn't want to risk the friendship she could mean a lot of things, maybe she truely doesn't want to risk it. Or maybe she just wants to let you down politely. Once you get into the best friends zone, it's hard to get out.
  4. I'm pretty sure this is a lie. Some facts: His friend was riding a bike. He got hit by a big truck. Even when high, I doubt it takes your brain 10 seconds to recognize that a big truck is coming that could possibly flatten you and that you have to get out of the way. Explaination. His friend was riding a bike. Riding a bike requires balance and if you're high, you wouldn't have good coordination of movements and therefore fall off and be unable to ride a bike. He got hit by a big truck. I assume that a big truck isn't that hard to see, especially with headlights etc. Even when high, I doubt it takes your brain 10 seconds to recognize that a big truck is coming that could possibly flatten you and that you have to get out of the way. Usually an average person not under the influence is able to recognize that a truck is coming their way and they could be flattened in approximently 0.6 seconds (signal going to the brain and back). The action however might take 2-3 seconds. Now unless a high person spend the time frozen, they should have a slow reaction time but to just make a decision to make a slight turn still doesn't take 10 seconds. All in all, unless his friend was 1. High to any degree but miraculously able to ride a bike but not recognize a truck is going to run you over, then....I don't know what's going on with him. 2. His friend was walking with the bike and was too high to process, within 10 seconds, that he'll get run over by a truck and react.
  5. It's this shallow mentality that's driving women to destroy their bodies in an attempt to acheive this unrealistic description of "beauty". It's men that only love women for what they look like - they ignore the women themselves, what really matters, and it's driving them (alot of women) to go to extremes to get any ounce of fabricated love from men that really don't care. That's wh ere you're wrong. He never said he loved her, he said he think's she's a sexy fox. lol. Men are attracted to the women that are skinny, but mostly it's just sexually. Not all men go by looks. I mean looks help, but they aren't everything. I should have put love in quotes. In reality these men don't love women at all, they're only out to get some and use the women to achieve sexual satisfaction. Since that is the closest thing to being loved many women come to nowadays, they feel pressured into expressing themselves in the way shown in the first post. And that is what I think is sickening. Then I ask you, what is your definition of love.
  6. If families did press charges, I'd be pissed off that someone is suing a teacher who did a good deed. But it happens in today's world.
  7. Yup I do make intelligent decision. Thanks.
  8. That wasn't the point at all. The alcohol part was just to make fun of Mel Gibson. The point is that some teachers aren't found guilty because they are hot. Again, I'm basing it off of what the teacher said, and as I said in my first post about my 8th grade teacher. Teacher's know how easily they can get off, and therefore do it. I wouldn't say teachers. I'd say child molesters or soon to be ususally study the law and stuff to see how they can get away with this.
  9. Please don't spam here. If you guys want to talk, do it elsewhere. Also, since she is taken, why the hell you want her to cheat on her boyfriend. You'd love it if she was in a relationship with you and she cheats on you wouldn't you? Yes you would, yes you would. Seriously, she's taken, don't try to take her, unless you believe things like in that "Walk the Line" movie. Cheating ususally won't make you nor the other person happy. But reference to "Walk the Line". Johny Cash did cheat on his wife, and he ended up happy right? Best thing you can do is just run into her a lot and talk about whatever you want, or she wants. And hope her boyfriend isn't abusive and beat the living daylights out of you(though you certainly deserve it if you do cheat with his girlfriend).
  10. The Highway patroll officer said she was going about 50-55mph... he didn't know there was a 35 mph sign at the start of the hill/curve leading to where the wreck happend... I didn't see the sign till i rode through the place again coming from another direction... Probably is my fault, if i had pulled out any faster though i would be in the hospital would have gotten me in the drivers door... No problem then, call up officer to testify and you have the case in the bag.
  11. The whole universe, the history is in your hands. Don't throw it away, the infinite knowledge that is out there. A human compared to all the knowledge in the universe, how could you give that up, how you were created, why you were created, what is the purpose of living(from the start), who made us, and if someone did, who made that someone, when was the universe created? There are so many questions unanswered, questions whose answer who blow up the brain because of its limitless proportions, and you're going to get something can be easier to explain? That's what I don't understand. So... I want to ask how I can get any girl... Haha, just kidding. I'd get my notebooks and stuff or a computer to type it on, and ask the genie: What is the history and timeline of the creation of everything? The question has flaws but best I can come up with on the spot.
  12. ... You can't apologize for that. ...That makes me feel horrible Stuff like this makes me repeatedly want to hit these kids, very, very hard. I really loved the first quote. Was laughing my [wagon] off. You stuffed a kid into a shed, set it on fire, and danced and laughed around it? And you didn't do s***, to get the kid out of the shed or anything. But all of a sudden when an adult comes, "Oh, I'm sorry, blah blah, bs, bs, bs." Those kids had all the power to get the handicaped person out of the shed. They were even laughing when it was on fire. Comon. With the law that prevents kids from going to jeuvi(sp), I say forget that law. I really don't want to see kid terrorists blowing up buildings for them to get the picture. I say screw they kids, tried to act innocent after they got caught. Part I blame on parents who can't even keep their eyes on their kids and keep taking drugs. Part I blame on the kids, they're animals. They kill their own kind(animals would not do that unless it's for food). I'd say they're worse than animals, at least animals watch out for their own kind, (most of the time). They deserve maximum punishment because they're trying to act innocent, (burning the kid then pretending they were sorry afterwards), and because they're current lethal actions can turn into something worse in the future.

Yup. Seems like the newer elements have very short half-lifes. Well two ways I know an element can be named: 1. The scientist who found it names it. 2. The scientist sells the right to name the element. Not sure which I'd choose...
  14. ...of a polar bear? [/lost referece] Crap, I thought I was going to be the first to mention Lost :P . Speaking of which, this would be all i need for two years: :D I hope you share food, or else she'll die in about 6 hours. ROFL! LMAO! Hiliarious! Btw, the person who posted below you who said that his Lost girl pwned you, he wasn't lying :D I can think of some hotter girls than that. Wouldn't keep me entertained for two years though. Perfect: A girl with beuty AND brains Then she'd find out that she can get a better husband/boyfriend. :D

1.) Not everyone here is American. 2.) You are just a former colony of the British empire, you fought a war for tea, or independence as you call it. Your amendments were drawn up by a bunch of traitors and backstabbers. 3.) Anybody with the slightest hint of a brain would have noticed that the majority of people in this world hate George Bush, many people also want him dead. Just because some dumb femaleteenager was trying to be cool doesn't mean the President was ever going to be in any danger. A leader should be strong and prove he is worthy of his post, cowering a way from a 14 year old girl that might 'assassinate him' is quite hilarious if you think about it. 1. Well, like U.K., you have freedom of speech, but if you threaten the queen, they have hard evidence and charges are pressed, you're screwed. 2. Well let's tax the * out of you for something you don't want and see how you like it. 3. Let's say if a 14 year old assasinated President Lincoln, won't we be going 'wow how stupid we were to doubt the chances a 14 year old will kill the president'. Age shouldn't be an exception because if some smart, highly trained, etc, 14 year old there could be a possibility that something can happen. So better safe than sorry. Anyways I think the report was overexagerated. She was yelled for threats, this happens but they do this to get the point across (not everyone can get the point just by talking softly to them or w/e) so they did it just in case. She was pretty dang lucky they didn't press charges or her life would be so screwed up. Be happy for that. Be happy you got away with only a 15 minute interrogation for breaking a law. Sometimes they use certain more harsh methods and it's wayyyyyyyyyy longer than just a 15 minute interrogation. Also the heart on her backpack doesn't prove squat. A terrorist could have a heart on their bomb or w/e, doesn't mean they're peace loving.

Pft, if anyone had hard evidence you threatened them, they could send you straight to jail.
  17. lawrencekill replied to Riku3220's topic in Off-Topic
So you're saying people deserve to be yelled at/thrown in jail for expressing their political views? She wasn't making a death threat against him, only expressing what she felt (or being that she was young, what her parents felt). Communism ftw? Her opinion was "kill Bush". That is a death threat. So because girls cry we should never discipline them? Well she should already be arrested. Any death threat, yes any, can have you arrested, if the person press charges. You say to your friend, I'm going to shoot you, if your friend has hard evidence(logs and such) and presses charges, they'll throw you in jail. Girls deserve discipline as much as guys, but there's no reason to yell at them. From my experience, girls express their emotions more physically then guys. When girls are sad they cry, guys don't do that as often. When they're happy they show it through various ways, guys tend to show it in fewer ways. Judging from that statement, you are going to make a horrible father someday. The Secret Service makes seditious punks and tax evaders cry too. OMG! How could you make that girl cry by yelling at her. Sure she blew up half of USA, but how could you YELL AT HER!!! So now they get more special treatment since they're female. "Well why don't we just drag em out of hospitals, blood is too scary for them, cause they're emotional about it, etc." Comon. I support equal treatment. If it was a male who did something and you yelled at him, the same should apply for females. It seems like equal treatment isn't equal (course this is still present in today's world, racism, judging a person by wealth, etc). Statements in "" are suppose to be sarcastic if you don't get it...
  18. Why not take the SAT early? The PSAT's for us are Wednesday. The SAT is worth it, just for the experience. ~Foolgool No... All of the honor 8th graders in my mid school was offered this, except they had to pay. Btw i was better than 98-99% of state students at math in elementary an middle school and I didn't get ANYTHING!!!

well they seem to take it seriously. and it is against the law so...
  20. What do you do to concentrate on your work? I try to get a quiet place to study but it's impossible. My living room and dining room is filled with junk and havn't been cleaned yet. The rest of the house either contains a T.V. or is a room right next to one. I can either study in a quiet place, or in a slightly crowded but pretty much quiet place, resturants, library, with kids playing comp, but no yelling. Just need some tips cause I'm finding it hard to study.
  21. Ouch. Someone lost a fortune today. :P It's always been illegal. All of these online casino's operate OFF of American soil...So they cannot do anything about it. Like many previous statements, it WAS illegal in the first place, just not enforced.
  22. Please don't post spam here. I'm pretty sure he knows about runescape because this site is mainly about it... Anyways, Runescape Maplestory Ragnarok(wrong spelling I think) Gunbound Guild Wars (It's pretty bad, played a few weeks then quit.) DarkEden(This game sucks, never updated and you can get player killed, even in towns. This is the worst game ever. Add in hacks and the point that you can't gain more than the first few levels safely, this game should be wiped off the face of the earth.) Diablo II(Great game, except it gets boring because of all the items and the oh-so-little bank space. And the fact that I suck in nightmare and hell mode that I can't beat it by myself or with 1-2 other friends.) I think that's about it. Not sure what my most favorite is...
  23. The physical act of gambling doesn't alter your brain like drugs do, you're right. But once it becomes an addiction, it's exactly the same as using drugs. Drugs are easier to become addicted to because they will mess with the chemicals in your brains no matter what, whereas gambling can affect some people and not affect others. But addictions are addictions - period. No one has found any chemical difference in the brain between the two various types of addictions except that drugs, because they are being put into your body, also cause various physical problems. Maybe not in the brain no... But if you examine the bloodstream, you'll find some extra stuff in there. The "excitement" people get when doing something daring, like gambling(amounts depend on different people). The "excitement", or what some people call adrenaline rush, is what people get addicted to. Like the people who eat to feel better, the brain releases endorphines when you eat to represent satiety. Endorphines are the body's way to reduce pain or feel good or the like. Gambling is like eating a ton, it affects the chemistry of your blood and body, thus people who are addicted are addicted to rush of certain chemicals in their body.
  24. What the hell is this? Trapped on an island, with only a few years worth of supplies, a bathroom, a hottub, a bedroom, etc... will they survive, next time on, "Trapped on an Island with a Boat Full of Supplies". Depends what island, you have to be more specific.
  25. Really? Does Google underpay its employees and allow them no benefits? lol jk but I see what you mean. They don't underpay. If you talk with someone who works in google you'll find it's pretty good (seems almost perfect in my standards). Great because... 1. You can bring your dog to work, not cat. 2. You can come to work whenever you want to or leave whenever you want to.(but you better come up with some projects with your teammates, you usually work in groups) 3. They have their own restuarant, you can get food free of charge. Sushi, chinese food, crepes, and a ton of other things for freeeeeeeeeee. 4. They have their own swimming pools, tennis courts, etc. 5. You can start work whenever you want. 6. You can sleep or nap in the google building. 7. Have dirty laundry? Bring it in to wash at google. 8. You also get paid after all these benefits. Dang!!! If google is like this when I grow up, I want to work there. Just stay all day at work, you NEVER EVER have to go home, it's great!!! Love that kind of stuff. Google provides a home-like environment because they want you to stay there to work. They never ever want you to leave, and if I work there, I don't see a reason why I should leave. Every day needs all in one place.
