  1. what do you mean by getting infinite logs from normal trees? So basically u dont need miltiple tree seeds becuz it will regrow every time you harvest it? Yes, it regrows. You will NOT get farming xp a second time though so if you want the farming xp you'll need to plant a new tree. You can only cut more logs when it regrows. You should invest that money in higher level trees... Err, I said it didn't really cost me any money. How can you invest no money in higher level trees? xD
  2. well i have 200k...are sharks really that much better than monks? and how about strawberry baskets? would those be enough? Sharks heal 20hp in one bite. It's the one bite healing that does the trick, it saves a lot of time. :P
  3. It's the home tele (not the one with runes) that should do the trick.
  4. Yeah, I just hate them dying and it's not much work to pay them... As long as the payment for the farmers doesn't really cost anything I'm gonna keep paying them. :P
  5. If it's 3 for unstrung and 3 for strung I guess it's twice as much unstrung... So like 1200. :P
  6. I usually only do fruit trees. And yes, I DO pay the farmers... I don't like dead trees. :P Doesn't really cost me anything anyway, just a few bananas for a curry tree. For the lower trees I never really paid though, they didn't die that much. As far as I know you can get infinite logs from a normal tree, it just regrows after you chop it down. Works the same as normal trees. To get it out of the patch you need to dig fast after you chop it down or else it'll regrow. xD
  7. I hope you know that while the armor degrades the stats always stay the same. Nothing changes to the set until it reaches 0%, at 0% it'll break and you won't be able to use it until you repair.
  8. Try pyramid plunder, it's pretty fast exp.
  9. Single way combat is the opposite from multi-way combat as in multi-combat areas. In other words, you can attack these players even while they are attacking each other in single-combat areas.
  10. Slayer helmet isn't real hard to obtain, it just takes a little time. ^^ Abberant spectres are a nice option, I quite like them. I usually cannon them in the pollnivitch dungeon. when I get them as assignment and I still walk away with profit.
  11. They don't decrease bar drops.
  12. Both the same I think. Barb-tailed just enables you to carry one more fish.
  13. It's quite simple... Rares have become useless. They were used to show off wealth, but besides that there was no other use. Ever since the stronger weapons and armors came around (godswords, spirit shields, stuff like that) people have been able to show off their wealth with items that actually have another use besides showing off. People are now saving up for expensive weapons and armors, not for holiday items.
  14. I think he ment that since you're 69 summoning you can use a bunyip. On a side note, you might want to keep ahold of the rune items, or the kite shield, and wait a few days to sell on the GE. Since pvp came back rune items are going up in price. Idk about halberd though. Wups, didn't notice that... That's probably what he meant yeah. xD
  15. Bunyip is 68 summon. ^^
  16. Yes, they just fixed all broken heads and made all handles disappear.
  17. You misunderstood him. If you happen to be lucky and get a rare drop, the ring of wealth gives you a change for a good rare. IE: Imagine you'd get a rune scimmy. Ring of wealth gives you a rune kiteshield instead, since it has a higher value. Yes, let me try to explain a little better. Say monster X has a rare drop set consisting of a rune kiteshield, and a dragon chainbody. You kill one of these monsters and you are miraculously given access to the rare drop set. The ring of weath increases the chance you will get a dragon chainbody, since it has higher value than a rune kiteshield. It wont affect the common drop set, but if you get access to the rare set, it will increase the chance of a more valuable drop. Just for your information: The rare set (as you like to call it) also has crappy drops in it. The RoW decreases the amount of crappy drops and increases the amount of real rare drops in the rare set so yes, it DOES increase your chances of getting a rare drop.
  18. I can imagine being too lazy to look it up in the highscores. :P
  19. I assume you where in a pvp world? Someone probably used Lunar Magic (Stat Spy spell) to look up your stats. ^^
  20. Slayer at lower levels usually evens out, you won't really make a profit but it doesn't really cost you money too. Then again, seeing as you haev experiments on your list I don't think you really care about that. Slayer would probably have slower experience then experiments, but I myself find it a lot more fun to do. Plus, when you start getting a little higher with slayer you might start to gain some money from it. I'd say slayer, though keep in mind that everyone experiences things otherwise. (I myself am a huge slayer fan :P)
  21. Fletching is also quite popular I think.
  22. Oh yes, weapons will get stronger, there's no denying that. ^^ It just seems a little fast to release complete sets of this strength at once.
  23. I got it on the first try... :P Never actually tried again, though I think I might do it a while for the second phoenix. ^^
  24. how are those bonus as small as they are affect anything? Warrior ring increases your chance to hit, very useful. Berzerker ring increases your max hit by 1, very useful. Ring of wealth, like I stated before, is very useless. Ring of wealth only seems unless because it's all random. It does, in fact, help. Unless you're after something that isn't labeled as expensive, such as a clue, you have no evidence to say that RoW does not help, while Jagex states that the RoW does help you get expensive drops more often. Warrior ring gives +4 to slash and only slash. Zerker ring gives +4 strength, but that only makes it possible to hit higher, not adding damage. +1 damage every once in a while is completely no worth it. When every damage counts, such as when you are pking, then maybe it'll help. But when you are dealing thousands of damage then honestly you'll do maybe 50 extra damage because of the ring in 1 hour, and that's 200xp. +200xp per hour is not worth the high sticker price when that money is better spent on prayer potions for Superhuman Strength or Piety. You clearly didn't read my above post, RING OF WEALTH DOESN'T HELP UNLESS YOUR ALREADY LUCKY! "Ring of Wealth increases the chance of WHICH rare drop you get... How drop's work: 2 Wheels are involved, the first wheel spun decides WHAT CATEGORY DROP WILL COME FROM. Rare, Uncommon, Common, ect. The second wheel decides WHAT DROP FROM THAT CATEGORY YOU GET. Ring of wealth increases the size of the spot on the SECOND WHEEL, but only if your first wheel was the RARE wheel, NOT the first wheel." That's how a ring of wealth works, it wont make you get rare drops more often. Berzerker ring and warriors ring help, BUT ONLY USE THEM IF YOU CAN AFFORD THEM! AKA you will have money left over to suit your needs. Uhm... Try reading Jagex's explanation again. It DOES increase the chance of getting a rare drop. Not on the first wheel, I agree with you on that, but on the second wheel. If you hit the rare spot on the first wheel you can still get crappy drops because the second wheel is full of crappy drops too. The Ring of Wealth increases the amount of rare drops on the second wheel, in other words it increases your chances of getting a rare.
  25. I'm sorry but no... :P If I was running Jagex I wouldn't even consider something like this. This is simply releasing too much at once which is bad because of several reasons: 1. It advances the game so fast you're bound to get overpowered items compared to what exists now. Releasing not 1, but a whole line of stronger monsters means you also need items which are a lot stronger. 2. Releasing 3 different dragons at once cuts off a possibility for a long and very interesting storyline. Think about it, wouldn't it be much more logical to just release an adamant dragon and save the others for quests later on in the story or in other storylines? 3. You've just made most of the strong items in game kind of pointless by releasing not just one item but at least one of every imaginable type (+ a few new ones you made up), almost all of them stronger then the strongest in existence right now. I'm afraid I could go on for a while... It's also a little too easy to get the items. There's at least 3 ways to get them... I'm sorry but no, I don't think this is such a good idea. I like the summoning tabs though, I hate having to dismiss my titan at the G.E. :P (Btw, yes I know this topic was a little old, I just saw it in the guys sig and read through it... Had to reply. ^^)
