  1. I've only got about 18m on me atm. I could sell whip or ss if I was desparate enough I guess
  2. With crafting green dragonbodies, you get approximately 800k back for every 1m you spend. 1,000,000/1,921 = 520.5 (we'll round down) 520/3 = 173 173x186 = 32178xp per 1,000,000 spent. keep in mind that you do get about 800k back, so you are spending about 200k for it. 200,000/32178 = 6gp per 1xp granted, green drag bodies are for speed not profit. they are for speed.. 6/1=x/30,000,000 6x=30,000,000 5,000,000 xp for 30,000,000 gp. someone care to double check my math for me?
  3. Spiders in SoS
  4. I'm looking for a way to up my crafting (currently 83). I am willing to lose some money, but green dragonbodies are just too much. What are some decent ways to gain crafting xp with little loss. Not flax. I'm aware that magic needles are good, but I personally don't like the game that you have to play to do it.
  5. For some reason, the defender thing isn't dropping. I've used over 200 tokens and haven't even gotten a bronze def. Am I doing it wrong? Just killing them and checking the drops?
  6. I'm hoping to get my defense up a lot, I'm training at spiders currently with a whip. Where would you recommend I train (melee please)? Attack: 70 Strength: 68 Defense: 67 I am p2p.
  7. Green dragonbodies. You'll be surprised how fast you get the levels.
  8. Cannonballs, but it's not very fast.
  9. how much does sawmill buy for
  10. If you are going for speed, you don't have enough money. Speed is best done with dragonhides and making dragonbodies. I recommend doing some merching in between to: A. break the monotony of the whole thing, and B. to TRY to make some cash back. If you want speed, thats the way to do it. If you want to go for profit, then yes bowstrings. Emerald bracelets are getting too expensive.
  11. Crafting if done for speed will cost you 40-70m give or take (doing dragonhides). If you are doing it for profit, you can almost break even. Not a lot of people do the emerald rings thing anymore because it's just too slow, but you lose less money.
  12. Lookin at your stats, I'd do the following: RC til you're bored Cut yews til you're bored NPC trading Mine gold ore Lather, rince, repeat
  13. Guards and Farmers are also good. Guards because they are so easy to find, and farmers because a lot of them are one click.
  14. 4. Get your prayer up. Find a friend with guilded altar and go nuts! Prayer helps big time when going against big bosses. EDIT: Sorry, didn't read 3. So I guess it would be 3/4
  15. I also play Diablo 2, and one of the strengths that RS has is that you aren't set in a class. Yes there are classes (ranger, skiller, mage, tank, etc), but you can interchange them very easily. In order to do that on other games, you must create a new character.
  16. runecraft
  17. I'd say get agility up. It's fairly easy to train (although boring) and VERY helpful in game.
  18. I think they'll continue with the graphics updates. There might be a new megaquest on the horizon, so that'd be cool. I don't foresee any new skills this year, maybe next year. I am also hoping for more for the skillers (mainly crafting, firemaking, smithing, thieving and woodcutting mainly). Some of those skills are pretty monotonous to train (we're looking at you firemaking), so I'm hoping they mix it up a little. The new pickaxe/wc axe thing is cool, but it didn't really help the firemakers too much.
  19. Before the GE when I got an easter egg for like 200k lol.
  20. If you don't want to use prayer, then select it in the duel options. If you didn't, don't complain about it.
  21. So stick with blue bodies the rest of the way?
  22. If you're combat, do 99 prayer and 99 mage/range. Think of the POWER! If you're non combat, I'd say do crafting and runecrafting. Crafting because the cape is awesome and it's relatively easy to train, and RC for the money. When it comes to prices, it all depends on your resources: Prayer: -Altar: 450m give or take -No altar: You don't wanna know Mage: -combat mage: suprisingly cheap -non combat: Few hundred mil, depends on if you wanna alch or humidify Crafting: -flax: profit but takes forever -blue d-hides: a few hundred gp per hide, but VERY fast xp RC: -GOP: Profit and relatively fast -Nat crafting or law crafting: Slower but also profitable
  23. Pyramid Plunder is fastest at upper levels, but I have my own method that I recommend. Now that you can bank in Fremmy, steal fish from there and bank. It is only a click or two away from bank.
  24. So I have the supplies to get me to 83 crafting (81 atm), and I was wondering the most efficient way to train crafting above about 82-83. I'm currently doing blue d-bodies and it's fairly fast. I got about 30m in bank, but I can get more. What would you guys say is the fastest/most efficient way to train crafting above level 82 or so? EDIT: Just got 82
