excactly, that's what makes it bad, and a mistake often made by new pixelers. a camera flash = no life in the pic. to make it realistic at all, you want to use lightsources from within the pic, not without, lightsources which seem to be the right ones for that situation, like a lamp, or the sun on a sunny day. good luck :) exactly, its the reason photographists (the ones shooting models) use lamps to the side of there object rather then having a direct frontal shot with a flash. (plus it makes the -if human- objects eyes close)

depending on the request tho moste of the time it takes a month my current one is taking a little longer because well im practicing with ambient and scales and wood texture on that one.. just cant work the wood texture out yet.

well for pixels i do use graphics gale which i presume being the more advanced program you speak of? well yes its faster and such and its got layers but for the rest its all the same. however layers are not actually needed in pixel art nor would it make much difference if you use them. and mistakes are easily fixed without them so i dont see the use of them.. that and i dont know how they work :oops: i find mspaint a bit under-rated tho if you take for granted that it is a key program in a rare yet indulging form of art, i believe it was called utak-something tho im not quite sure, well it sounded japanese. to each program its own purpose? to each artist his/her own aproach

the nature within the difference between left individual and right individual eludes me. so far that i will lay a pair of querys upon you and it louds the following; Did you Colab or did you use reference for one but not for the other or just messed up? the pose on the right is superior to the one on the left as is the anatonomy and design. depth, perspective right has it and left lacks it. ditto on correct prportions. no offense but this comes on very awkward to me.

when you say deltoids and extreme upper arm? you do mean the Delta/Deltoid Muscles on the location we call "shoulder"? do you have a future? ofcourse you do, theres future for everyone, dead or alive to each his/her own future. tho i am no fortune teller so you'll have to find out for yourself. and uhm.. read an anatonomy book or look up at the internet so you can find how a persons has muscle build. right now it looks like the armbands so tight that all of his fati s squized right out of it and is having a reunion at his shoulder and bicep and tricep.

layers are useless in pixels tho i tell you this, people make pixel art, programs do not.

Well, then you could also say TJ sucks at making pixel sigs because he doesn't regulary makes them anymore. And hell, if it applies to sig making? Why shouldn't you apply it to music and movies? Well, then Stanley Kubrick must suck, after all he made only 13 feauture length movies in his 49 years of movie making. And while we're at it, Coldplay is a bad band too, you want to know why? They only released 3 albums the past five year. I think you need to shut the hell up and go back making your B-quality pixel signatures, you commercial piece of crap. I think the original poster wants a relevant list of the best sig makers who he would actually be able to get a sig off. Not one of people who don't make sigs anymore and have moved onto bigger and better things. For example, I haven't seen a sig of 300x150, for someone other then themselves within the past few months from: -Shaw -Zimlem -Princessa -DementedHero -Teenageloser -Random So why give him a list of people who, chances are, will just say "No I'm busy sorry" - "I don't make sigs anymore sorry" etc etc. I think you over reacted a little bit there... geez. :shock: I just try my best at pixeling, and hey, I win competitions, I have 10 orders at the moment. So someone must like my "B-Grade" sigs. Plus, I'm only 16 at the moment.
