  1. First non-meleer to vote :P I only use range for a couple of bosses where magic is useless. However, I think extra binds would make me want to use range MORE, not less. So I would never give up using it. On the other hand if the extra binds were in some way a reward for giving up range I might give it up completely and just be useless occasionally if I gained an extra 3 binds and the ability to bind laws as well as surgebox. Magic is too much more powerful than the range to even think about giving it up. I would never give up SSH. Not for anything. I don't use blood necklace at the moment, so certainly nothing. However, if I had an extra 2 binds I might be persuaded to start using it. I don't have hex but I do want one. However, I think an extra 2 or 3 binds would be enough to exchange for using one.
  2. i was fishing rocktails for about an hour and a half up to 10 hours ago. Didn't stop when I shouldn't at any point.
  3. Funny. Those are the exact same reasons why I don't like people who go round saying anyone who doesnt use the "most efficient" method for every single thing are inferior. It's kind of odd to see them being applied the other way for once. As for my view on donations - all it does imo is turn a solo achievement into a group achievement, with the account owner becoming the figurehead of the group. There is still an achievement there, just it is an achievement which is, or should be, shared among many, rather than just a single individual. In my view it is more honest than hosting dicing games, which is what a lot of other top players do nowadays. At least donators know how much they are giving away and don't hope to get a profit from it. If you take large amounts of donations, you get the satisfaction of higher levels of achievements, but that higher achievement is shared across many. If you don't, you have to accept lesser achievements (or taking longer to reach them), but you get the satisfaction that the achievements you get are yours and yours alone. Both are worthy in their own ways.
  4. Ferocious ring has no effect on ice strykewyrms though?
  5. I don't. I do the methods that I most enjoy doing. The second priority is which method is the most convenient. After that the only methods that are still tied would be ones where there is an obvious winner in terms of efficiency that would be the best method for me whatever sane value I placed on my time.
  6. clearly it's more efficient to miss out 2 letters in your typing so you can get your message out 1/10 of a game tick faster. /troll
  7. Just think, 15 years ago, before the internet gurus were born we called that a stalemate. But, hey thanks to an ego trip by somebody who takes 100 words to say one, we got this. Also, we all know that somebody has to die in dungeoneering and it can't be you. So you call them a keyer. You glorify them, tell them they are special, but in the end they get less xp than you because it's their job to go in first and DIE. Let's face it we all know how dungeoneering is really played. *Wink* *Wink* FIX IT JAGEX! It is kind of sad that the more a person contributes to a dungeon, the more likely they are to get "most deaths" at the end.
  8. During the day or so I was hosting the flower game (before I realised that what I was doing could in no way fit in with my personal moral creed and stopped) I saw plenty of people claim to be cleaned when what they meant was they were out of money - they would then go off, sell their armour, and come back again. If they lost that, they would go off, sell their weapon and come back again. I must have seen 20+ people claiming to be "cleaned", but only one of them was actually reduced to literally nothing. P.S. There was even one guy who claimed he was cleaned when what he meant was that he had lost all the money he had made earlier that day by hosting - he still had a good 100m+ to fall back on.
  9. derp? It's rswiki. What do you expect?
  10. zomg the population of New York has halved over the last 7 years:

  12. As far as we can tell EVERYTHING is included except the bonus xp weekends. I tried to ask Mod Nexus this but he replied saying it was in the sticky's questions post when it isnt.
  13. What about omustardo/Castle Wars - both for being the first person to a trimmed completionist cape and (perhaps more importantly for this thread) for being the first person to publicly advocate the use of mousekeys in runescape. Or A C I D Y for accidentally inventing price manipulation clans?
  14. William Hague? Vince Cable? Liam Fox? (grew up on a deprived council housing estate) Ken Clarke? Iain Duncan Smith? Danny Alexander? Michael Moore? Eric Pickles? Philip Hammond? Caroline Spelman? And Michael Gove was only able to go to an independent because he got a scholarship. Various others went through most of their education in the state sector, and of those that didn't only a tiny handful went to the really posh ones. Just because the Cameron/Osbourne/Clegg trio are from very well-off backgrounds doesn't mean they all are.
  15. Is Manchester the furthest north the rioting has spread, do we know? I also saw a bit this morning on some of the organised street gangs in London bragging about what they've been up to (burning patrol cars/looting/robbery etc) which in turn prompted rival gangs to "up their game" by burning more police vehicles and looting more shops. I'd imagine this might be part of the reason why gangs of youths further north started rioting, not to be outdone. It sounds [bleep]ing stupid but it's the exact same here with teams of neds and scumbags going [bleep]-for-tat, fighting and stabbing people over "territory". If your rival does something, you do the same but in a more impressive fashion. Heck, I'll try to find the article. It puts it a lot more eloquently. Liverpool had last night, I think that's just slightly further north. It'll be Cumbria and Kendal next :ohnoes: Rolex, Mcdonalds and Tesco metro are also now victims. It's all in/around Market Street and St Annes Square in Manchester. I heard Leeds had it a bit last night too and that's further north of either.
  16. Those wanting a slightly more positive picture: Nothing around here yet. Which is enough proof if you still need it that there is no political considerations in this at all - one would think the constituency of the home secretary would be the #1 target were there to be political motivation involved... (though the rioters probably don't even know what a constituency or a home secretary is)
  17. Meh he's a meleer now so he now longer counts as beating me :P Anyone know of anyone who is still range/mage based cb with 2314+ total? (although I will have to actually beat the total he reached before it counts properly - which is 2413, 100 above where I am now)
  18. simon's back from his holidays and seems to be mainly doing attack.
  19. Mod Edit: Removed quote chain w/ a rule breaking post. Oh right. Good to know there's a dg bot that never appears in the lobby area? Or a mining bot that never mines a rock? Or a slayer bot that never visits a slayer monster? Or a minigame bot that never plays a minigame?
  20. To clarify - I believe the number of people you claim to use the bot is the number that have downloaded that bot? That doesn't mean that they actively use the bot. Plus a single person who wishes to bot on multiple computers must download the bot multiple times. As for the number of users online on the rsof - that is calculated very differently to most forums and only includes people who have actively clicked to move to a new page within the last few minutes. If you are reading through a thread you will stop being on the list before you reach the bottom of the page. Most other forums not only include people who are passively reading the forums, but also those who have just left their computer with them viewing the forum for a few hours. Also, at almost 120 dg, 90k xp per hour is laughable. Rest of that stuff is nothing new. P.S. there is no such thing as a 100% safe bot.
