EverythingPhotography. The one and only thead [Large Images]
Bumping this thread back up with a great find. Turn up your volume for this This is the new Canon SLR. The Canon EOS 1D Mk III with a 10Fps burst mode for 110 jpg files. 1.3X crop factor instead of full frame 1X or APS-C size 1.6X, a happy medium I think. Maybe they will release a EOS 1Ds Mk III with a full frame sensor to keep the landscapers happy, though the 5D or 1D would do a good enough job. Will you be drooling over this new SLR too or is it just me? :

looking for spam flash page?
http://home.comcast.net/~benbrausen/Funny/Posting.swf I think that's it, it's done in the style of an american sex education video if I remember correctly. If the censors block it pm me about it and I'll give you the link over msn or something like that soon. Edit: It is indeed blocked - I'll be on msn tomorrow certainly, perhaps not tonight though. Sorry.

Rate this fake please!
I've not seen one like that and it seems pretty well executed to me. The text matches up, the only thing that isn't realistic is the capitalised "PWNED" and the text with the options at the top of the screen, they wouldn't just disappear. Maybe make two lines so that they don't disappear. Once that's sorted you'll have an authentic looking fake, if such a thing is possible.

B&W Film - Pictures.
I like the out of focus image, it adds a dream like atmosphere to the photo. This is reinforced by the over exposed areas at the edge of the frame. You've taken a "rule" of photography and inverted it. Normally, you should have dark object framing the lighter subject as the eye is generally attracted to the brightest part of the image. I like this shot because it's different. Well done! An extra point for your dark room work - I want to try that but my school won't let me. Health and safety I don't normally like black and white, so well done for winning me over with this one. I'm not such a big fan of the second one though. I don't quite know what it is, but it just doesn't work for me. I like how you're bending the composition rules though - you've got the subject in the centre which generally doesn't work, that could be why I don't like it that much. I don't like the reflections, but I can see why you did it. It adds to the image, it could be seen as a plus point for some people and a bad point for others. This one will polarise opinions, I think.

What piercings do you have?
Hey, good to see you. :) I can't speak for everyone, but I'm not particularly against piercings on men, just piercings in particular. I just think its a reflection of how far people will go to look "good". The human body is naturally beautiful and I think it's wrong to share the belief that poking holes in it causing pain is going to make you look better. You wouldn't go round saying - how anorexic are you? You wouldn't. That's because you know that it can cause pain and suffering. Piercings can also do the same, at different levels, but pain and suffering none the less. You want to look "beautiful" so you pierce your belly button or something like that. You do it yourself as your parents won't let you. You pierced yourself with something that wasn't sterile and you have an infected body part. There's the pain. You won't tell anyone 'till it gets really serious because you're frightened you'll get in trouble for going against their wishes. While I realise piercings are not a disease, it's to make you look "better". Anorexia is a psycological problem where no matter how thin the person is, they only see an "ugly" and "fat" person. That's why I'm making the comparison. Anyway, to sum up what I'm saying: I'm not against certain genders piercing their bodies. I'm against piercings in general.

2-3 Inches? That's pretty big. I'll get right on it. I normally resize to small so it's actually quite wee, I think last month's entry had a two inch border or something like that

Dead animals around (roadkill =[)
W00t Go British Roadkill \ I dont see much, but my cousin, for some deranged reason, takes joy in taking picture of them on his phone. :-X I've seen a bird sticking out the grill of a car - that was disgusting... :-X I've seen lots of rabbits, birds and foxes flattened on the road. It's not the animals fault, they don't see a road and think danger they'll just see the road and think ah a different piece of terrain - ooh was that a over there? Dash across the road and be smacked by an oncoming vehicle. It's our fault. Most of the time the road kill is not on urban roads but in the country. Their habitat. I think that more should be done to prevent animals dying on the roads. For us brits who might be charged per mile they travel on the road, they could charge more to use country roads and less for urban routes. Before people think I'm for this pay as you go road tax, I am not. But if it comes into play, we may aswell utilise it to save the lives of innocent wildlife.

Probably IMPACT would do for font and I'd imagine about 2-3 inches would do.

What piercings do you have?
I have none, I think it's disgusting to do something like that to your body. Why do you want to put artifical holes in your body and dangle pieces of metal from them? As for the tatoo, I can tell that you're simply seeing the short term effects of it. I want it now so I'll get it... That's the wrong attitude to take when you're talking about a permanent tatoo. It might look good now but what about when you're all wrinkly and old? Will you still want it in twenty years time and if you don't - is expensive and painful laser treatment to remove it worth it to be cool? Sorry, but piercings are far from cool and I pity your poor body. =;

Added the photos from the week end. They have a fair amount of camera shake that I didn't see when I reviewed them after shooting. I should have used a higher ISO :?

This is my entry - my computer isn't working well just now so photoshopped borders are out of the question. I'm also having trouble posting just now.

The validity of science.
Science is very a very useful way to understand the world around us as you can rationally explain why things happen. If experiments are carried out correctly, then the scientists can be almost 100% sure of the truth. Science is uncovering more of the problems facing the world and just now this is the only half decent way to find out things and understand them. The changing world of science is suited to our changing world, it's almost always accurate if the experiments are carried out correctly with several experiments to find any enomolies. The validity of science is assured with the accurate experiments. In my opinion science is the best way to uncover the truth. I concede that science can go too far, such as cloning just because they can and the so-called "designer babies" that parents could choose the sex, hair colour and other characteristics of their child. However, I would agree with the use of genetic engineering if it was going to be used to save the life of an existing child with a terminal illness or a devestating disease, only if the child being born would not be forgotten or labled as a spare part but as a child - a human life.

What if...?
It does. You think What if... that had happened differently. If you still don't think it fits the topic, what would you suggest the title be changed to? Also, don't you have something related to the topic to post? It would be nice if you did :)

Had a run-in with a fox or somethin
Well at least your okay. The worst experiences I've had with nasty canines are as follows. On the way home from primary school, an alsatian pup mounted me and started hip thrusting me *shudders* at least I was too young to understand! Otherwise I'd have been scarred  My aunty's rescue dog didn't like me and bit my arm - didn't draw any blood. It didn't like any men but pointing a shiny camera with a powerful flash at it probably didn't help the situation. That's my lot of problems. Hopefully you don't get any more problems, but foxes aren't really agressive. Certainly not the urban foxes, they would only attack if threatened, they're scavengers normally not hunters.

What if...?
Have you ever had a major turning point in your life, such as starting something new, or even an illness that affected you in someway? It doesn't have to be a good thing, like giving something up. Think about that, then think what you would be if it had happened differently. I've had a few. The most recent would be quitting RuneScape (this isn't about RuneScape, but this is my example) I'll admit it. I was an addict. I played long into the night, most nights and I only got a couple of hours sleep each night because of it. After my parents caught me several times they disconnected my computer socket so they could control when the computer was on. My grades were very poor and after they realised I had devised a way of getting online and playing they took the internet out of my room and that was it. This was over a year ago and since then, I have enjoyed life more, taken up a few more sports, I'm a bit fitter and my grades are great - eight top credit grades out of eight! Had I continued to play RuneScape, I would have continued to get lower and lower grades, shutting doors to my future. Looking back at that time, I realise how stupid I was, thinking of my pleasure in the short term, not caring about later life. I have to thank my parents for taking action, there must have been times when it seemed easier to let me do what I want and ruin my life. Do you have any major events that you can remember that helped make you the person you are today? Please don't dwell on my RuneScape addiction!

Right first the lens specifications: Weight: 130g Focal length: 50mm Effective Focal Length: 75mm Aperture range: F1.8-22 I'm not a fan of domestic animal shots either, but I liked these ones. I'll be taking a few forest ones soon I hope. I'll beg to go to the West coast and get some shots of the sea. Might happen

Post pictures of your pets here
That's my wee dog Rusty, he was born prematurely and was one of 2 that survived, he's now a healthy one-and-a-half year old and bullies my other dog, Zander. That's Zander. He's just under two years old, he's greedy and lazy. He was quite happy 'till Rusty came along and started bullying him. Believe it or not!
