I don't take it for granted, because I consider it all business. If Jagex kept Runescapes graphics the same forever and never changed it, people would start noticing other games that look better. Gotta stick with the new technology right? I mean, yes, I like the update, but I don't think I should thank them or anything of the like, because it needed to be done anyway. :P

I always thought it was the brother kills themselves that increased your chance of getting barrows drops. Therefore, after your 6 brother ill count, your chance of getting an item drop are the same from 7-10000. But what does change in your KC is the type of runes that you get from the chest. Am I right?

I don't think I'd ever go to work in a Runescape shirt, but the mouse looks kinda cool. :P

Depends really, they sell yes but sometimes it can take awhile. But they do sell, considering it's the only magic defense in f2p.

Once you have a good 50k+, buy green chaps bodies and vambs at lowest, turn into sets and sell highest. This is what I do, and I had 1mil + as F2P and was flipping 100-300 sets at a time, for a small 500-2k profite a set, but obviously doing 200 at a time could take 20 minutes and you could earn up to 400k, granted you have enough money to buy 200 sets or so.

Jealous indeed. When you've got hard-assed wannabe mods in here, telling you yuh can't leave your account to your own sister :-# . Sad part is they're probably right and some hard-assed mod will come in here and delete it because your breaking a dumb rule that shouldn't really be a rule anyway. I don't understand that if we die and loose all our items, why are they going to make it so if we kill someone we only get a fraction of theirs. I know Runescape isn't ment to be realistic but that doesn't even really make sense. As it was said all the RWTers pretty much said screw Runescape, because Jagex did a good job ( overboard of a job, changed the game too much ) and moved onto other games, so I think if they're going to do another major update they should do it right, with the players in mind instead of anti-RWT. I can almost gaurentee that if we took a game wide poll, most people would of prefered how it used to be with RWTs then Runescape 2.0 here with all these vastly different updates. So please do this one right Jagex :-#

I think we should make GP obsolete by forcing everyone to buy X needles. No more gp, just needles. On a more serious not, it's not just you, I agree. I like the old trade system a million times more then the GE. While it may be more covnenaint buying, it's just too different. [bleep] RWTers, Jagex should of found a way to get rid of them without turning Runescape into Runescape 2.0, because the game is compeltely different now.

Hows merchanting going for you now, with the update? I was thinking about just, before leaving for the night, buying something and putting it right back up, sorta a half assed merchanting method. But I can't do it very well since I only have about 2mil cash. Godly stuff, I'd kill to of been around when it first came out.

I don't like any of them, because at level 83 I don't stand a chance in the mid level crater. I think there needs to be a better placement of craters, if you allow me to elaborate: 1-40 41-60 61-75 76-85 86-105 106-126 127-137 This would keep the majourity of level 1 pures in the first crater, the second crater and up ( if they're smart ) would stick to 40 defense and up. If Jagex doesn't like pures then this would be a good way to keep them to a minimum.

I personally think that they're going to do something like this: Boss zones are the 1% that are out. GWD, DKs, KQ, Barrows, you know the stuff. Also minigames, like Castle Wars and FoG, where your not ment to be killed and loose your items. Cities will be set so you can only attack people 1 level lower or above yours. This would keep clans from controlling major cities, leave the level 50 + wilderness type deal for that. It would be really hard for a clan to control a certain spot unless they had a LOT of American/Chinese/Dutch players, for example. To have a wide selection of play times, to have that spot controlled at all hours, or else it'd be easy for another team to come and take it.

They don't, do they? Isn't that how they originally encouraged people to make money? The sad part is they also got rid of making money off no skills. So how are we suppose to make money now? Good going Jagex, now all I can do is kill stuff. What if I didn't want to do that? :(

You didn't seriously think Jagex is that smart? And there are no pures which can self-sustain, as it is certainly impossible to get your WC to 70 and go cut yews (and even easier for members)? Now that we're here... deny that this will be P2P-only, everyone. :) No, I didn't think Jagex was that smart. And I wasn't trying to say that some pures don't have skills on them and are self sufficiant, I just ment that mine aren't. :D

Oh, and my guess is they'll come up with some kind of diminishing kills system, like in Warcraft, and each time you kill a player your reward for him decreases each time.

This must of been all part of their ellaborate scheme, or at least that's how it works for me. Wildy is here, make a pure, put stuff on him from your main. Wildy is gone .. stuff goes back on main. Fair trade rule releases, all hope is lost for said pure with no non-combat skills. Pking is re-released and my pures all have no items on them. Very clever Jagex, touche'! I am very very excited about this.

Wait..wait ..wait. Your complaining about lack of team based options in Warcraft? Raiding, Arena teams, WSG, AB, AV, EOTS... There's plenty of team play if you acaully pay for the game mate. What'd you expect from a trial? :wall:

I'd like to know if that large photo of the guy selling hundreds of items was taken before or after the 4 hour trade limit. Since that's been implemented I'm having a hard time making money on the GE at all. What do I merchant mulitple high priced items at a time, buying them all low and 4 hours later selling them high? :wall:

In the Security Stronghold, while in the center of an area, climbing up a rope sends you..not up..but to the outsides of the area. The Drill Seargent has a different color head then arms ( skin cancer :-# ) We can't use two ring slots.

what do you call buying cigarettes, buying alcohol, buying mature rated games. the easiest way to do this is only allow credit card players whose name on account matches the name on the card. Which would mean... these adult servers would be members only.. ALAS! Children that pay for members with their parents credit cards. Another plan foiled. :cry:

- Age doesn't always represent maturity. - The whole concept would be too easy to bypass. - If they where going to implement anything similiar to that, I suggest an option on the Runescape website that you can disable your filter for language. ( Don't say.. OMGTHISISRUNESCAPENOTWARCRAFTNOOB ) but I believe World of Warcraft does handle this situation well, make it toggle-able, that way if you fancy you can say whatever you like, but if your young you can keep it on. Obviously things like spamming, being racist, or anything else profound can result in trouble, but you can't be reported for refering to a website, saying bad words, stating adresses/ect. And in my opinion if your stupid enough to get e-stalked on the internet and hand out your adress/phone number, you deserve it. I was never that stupid as a child :wall: I'm a firm believer of this " Runescape is 13+, start acting like it" thing.
