  1. Yeah i read that yesterday, not sure what to make of it really. Putting a petty personal feud above the fans who paid money to see a band they love is just disgusting. The Osbournes should count themselves lucky they didn't have 40000 people tearing the place apart after that.
  2. I fail to believe that any joke requiring that much reading could be anything more than a waste of my time. I'd tell one of my own, but i can't think of any jokes i find humorous that are suitable for this forum.
  3. I used to drink coke all the time but about 18 months ago i stopped drinking fizzy drinks altogether. Now i just drink fruit juices, squash and water, it's a hell of a lot cheaper and i suppose i can be happy that i'm doing my body some good.
  4. I have nightmares fairly frequently, and they're always about my family or friends being harmed, with me being made to watch.
  5. Alas, poor Yorrick, we knew him well.... A Trivium fan, good call.
  6. I'd never really heard of the bloke until i saw him at Glastonbury Festival, and i was really impressed. He's got a great voice, and the thing i respect most about musicians is being able to sound good not just on their albums, but live - where it counts.
  7. I'm all for tattoo's as long as they're not the usual clicḫ̩̉̉ crap. Sorry to say it but tribal designs and oriental writing are probably my least favourite of all, simply because everyone has them. I have 1 piercing and i probably will get a tattoo sometime soon, i'm just undecided on what to have. I'll probably just get a mate to design something for me, that way i know i'm never gonna bump into someone who has the exact same design as me.
  8. Out of those i'd probably only want to see about 3 bands, Thrice, The Bled, and Bleeding Through.
  9. Maybe it was your grammar that pushed her over the edge.
  10. My own personal worst one would have to be "I slept with your best friend". Yup, it doesn't really get much more painful than that.
  11. What a great loss to society, someone who quits his job (at 28 years of age), so he can play more video games :hugegoddamnroll:
  12. This man speaks the truth. They could get in serious trouble for allowing that sort of material to be released into the public domain. Blackmail for the win!
  13. He was mentioned in the first post of this thread :P Yeah dude, by her. I'm such a tool.
  14. He was mentioned in the first post of this thread :P
  15. Couldn't have put it better myself. I'm into a lot of metal, which is a genre where drummers tend to get a lot of recognition - mainly because any metal band worth listening to will have a drummer who's fast and technical as hell. If i had to mention 3 drummers i really like, they'd be: Igor Cavalera - Sepultura Vinnie Paul - Ex Pantera, Damageplan Danny Carey - Tool As far as bassists go, i think it's a lot harder to stand out. Bass just tends to be a little bit in the shadow of the guitar in most bands, but here are a couple of bassists that stand out for me Flea - Red Hot Chilli Peppers Ryan Martinie - Mudvayne Tim Commerford - Ex Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave As far as keyboards go, i don't think i actually own too much music that involves keyboard/piano playing. I can only really think of Matt Bellamy (Muse) as someone who stands out on that instrument. I would say Chris Martin (Coldplay) but, at the risk of being lynched by Meesy, i think the piano parts he plays are fairly simple.... i might be wrong because it's an instrument i have no knowledge about, but that's just the impression i get.
  16. Hmmmmm, this is difficult, not sure i can put them in order so here's a general top 5 Jerry Cantrell (Alice In Chains Zakk Wylde (Black Label Society, Ozzy Osbourne) Dimebag (Pantera, Damageplan) Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave) Mark Morton/Willie Adler (Lamb Of God) i'm not sure who plays which parts but they're both insane guitarists. I'm pretty sure that list would change if you asked me again tomorrow, but sod it.
  17. Gretchin, or whatever her name was, would get it.
  18. I've never met anyone through this site, but a couple of days ago i met a girl who i'd been talking to on a website that is censored here (although that doesn't narrow it down, hald of the English language seems to be censored). We'd been chatting for a while before realising that we actually live about 20 miles apart, so we decided to meet up on Friday. Went pretty well, i got on with her really well and we'll definitely be meeting up again this week. And to the dude who asked about Jenson Button, yes he was born in Frome. He actually went to the same college as Matt and myself (although not at the same time). Edit: sorry for bumping a relatively old topic, it's dusqi's fault for linking me to it.
  19. He broke the code, you don't mess around with your mate's family, much less a 12 year old sister. I don't have any sisters so i can't say for sure how i'd react, but more than anything else if a mate lied to me about being with my younger sister, there would be a very good chance of me kicking 7 shades of [cabbage] out of him.
  20. I'm Welsh and i don't fornicate with sheep.
  21. One of the most interesting bosses i've ever seen is in MGS3:Snake Eater. His name is 'The End' and it's basically a sniper who hides from you on a massive terrain, takes ages to defeat him and it's really the most original boss i've ever come across.
  22. Boarding for me, i've done both and i just find it a lot more fun. Skiing is definitely easier to do, but i'll always prefer snowboarding.
  23. Maybe not a rare word but 'satsuma' is clearly the greatest word in the English language. I am not open to debate on this subject.
