  1. Agreed, but i still like all their albums.
  2. Just acquired the album and it's pretty good stuff :)
  3. I have a great .gif of a part in that movie but I don't think I would be allowed to post it here :(
  4. Thought i'd bump this topic as the new board is open and all, so here's a pic of me with one of my guitars
  5. Requiem for a Dream had me feelin down as hell at the end, really good film though.
  6. My guitars and other equipment are posted in this topic :)
  7. I've got 5 Muse tracks taken from a radio show they did, all are acoustic, and all from the first album.... As this is a radio show would it be considered against forum rules if i uploaded them for people to listen to? If it is, could i send out links via pm? Edit: I've had the OK from Phil, so i'm gonna upload each track to [ForbiddenSite], and edit in the links as i go. The quality isn't great but you can still hear what an awesome performance it is. Edit 2: Uploaded 3 songs now, and i've just realised the whole session is 7 songs :D .com/d.aspx?id=3LKCTGLTSMYZ03MUX8O0OB0RQL]Muse - Sunburn (Acoustic).mp3 .com/d.aspx?id=31FI1E00FXY750AXFSV97RVNEI]Muse - Falling Down (Acoustic).mp3 .com/d.aspx?id=05BCPBZW67SAF0TPJX9PDSQZIN]Muse - Overdue (Acoustic).mp3 .com/d.aspx?id=1HDAQ47ADGDVJ2A4B5GJBRXYXY]Muse - Uno (Acoustic).mp3

    Memory?

I can remember bits and pieces from the age of around 3/4, stuff like what i was wearing, being in the garden, nothing really stands out too much though.
  9. I'm definitely a psychological thriller kind of man. I like the kind of films with plenty of action, but at the same time a plot that really twists and keeps you entertained. Stuff like Se7en, The Salton Sea, True Romance - that's what i like.

    Worst Movie Ever?

What are you on crack? I hope you don't mean Se7en. Beat me to it. I've never met anyone who didn't love this film, it's one of my all time favourites for so many reasons...
  11. I suppose it's metal for me, although i like a lot of grunge, prog rock, reggae and other types of music.
  12. I'm a huge fan of Muse, and i'd say this would be their best album if it wasn't for Showbiz. I love all of their albums and it's hard to choose between any of the 3, but their debut takes it for me. Still can't beat that intro to Plug In Baby though.
  13. I'm such a tool. Set it to public now, view away.
  14. Just got done putting in all my DVD's, or at least all the ones i have here. http://www.intervocative.com/dvdcollect ... x/Rizla%60
  15. Yeah i liked him a lot in Old School "YOU'RE MY BOY BLUE!"
  16. Lee Evans is a legend where I live, he is the safe bet if you are putting on a dvd for friends to watch, I don't know many people who don't like him. I think Jack Dee is funny, his whole outlook on life just cracks me up. :P Yeah man, HMV sell a boxset of like 6 Lee Evans DVD's, i'm extremely tempted. Good call on Jack Dee too, the guy's just so dry you have to laugh.
  17. http://www.cyberfret.com/ http://www.wholenote.com/ http://www.guitargeek.com/ Those are some sites i've used in the past, all good for their own reasons.
  18. As Requiem For A Dream, Donnie Darko and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas have already been mentioned, i'll have to go with Spun. It's not like the film is hard to follow, but the way it's shot makes it very odd. It's basically a film about people who use/deal/make methamphetamines, and it's filmed in a way that shows you what people are seeing when they take the drug. It's really well done, and a personal favourite of mine (the film, not the meth :P).
  19. I like Lee Evans a lot, so much so that i've got tickets to see him in December :D
  20. I was watching "America's scariest police chases" (or whatever it's called, the one with Sherriff John Bunnell) last night, and a case something like this came up. A police officer tried to pull someone over because they weren't wearing a seatbelt, the person decided to flee and ended up flipping his van, breaking his neck and both his legs - not bad considering he was probably only looking at a caution!
  21. Regardless of the excessive use of the taser, when a police officer tells you to do something - you do it. Only an idiot wouldn't listen to a cop in that situation, if she wasn't such a fool she would have avoided the whole ugly mess that came as a result of her actions. And to the people giving the whole "they don't arrest white people" crap, what kind of dream world are you living in? Yes, the woman in the video is black, but that doesn't give you an excuse to play the race card - but what would i know, i'm a white guy who has no dealings with the law!
  22. Anything by Pantera, especially Cemetary Gates. I love the pinched harmonics in that riff.
  23. I just got done watching The Salton Sea, and i don't think the imdb rating of 7.2 does it justice. Wicked film, i'd recommend it to anyone.
  24. Well i like a lot of metal, so here's some of my favourite drummers: Igor Cavalera - Sepultura Vinnie Paul - Pantera/Damageplan Chris Adler - Lamb Of God Andols Herrick - Ex Chimaira As far as Joey Jordison goes, he's an incredible drummer. I've seen Slipknot live twice, and he really can do some amazing things with a drum kit. Other than that, i saw him step in for Lars Ulrich at the Download festival - again he was awesome.
