  1. Weird.. I watched this like 10 minutes before you posted  Voldemort's voice sounds noob tbh. It's not creepy enough for me :XD: Looks intense.
  2. One of the reasons we have it disabled for regular members is to slow down users who chose to spam advertise/scam via PM.
  3. Sorry buy y_guy is in fact correct. Regular members do not have the ability to send messages to more than one person at a time. If you wish to contact all your friends, you can copy the private message and send it to multiple people (it honestly doesn't take *too* long), or as Speedyshel suggested, put your "status" or "About Me" section to "Away" ad explain when you will return.
  4. That's what the "Report Ad" button is for :) We have to manually block advertisements. EDIT: Howlin0001 beat me :P
  5. No changes in "ideals" were made. The ONLY change that was made was the removal of advertisements for other games, which had zero affect on us. It was a painless, effortless, nearly unnoticeable change that was made. We would never change/compromise our ideals, integrity or the way the community is run if it were asked of us. For instance, if we were asked to remove any user discussion of other games (i.e. our Video Games & Consoles forum), we would not comply with that. We made one completely harmless change for Jagex that has zero affect on our site or our users in exchange for some benefits. So while some of you may view it as "kissing Jagex's ass," it certainly is not. As long as the change was painless and had zero affect (positive or negative) on our website/community, I see no reason why we should not have gone through with it. I never did say that you changed anything at all. Only that if you had, it wouldn't have been something to be proud of. Don't become so defensive that you can't handle a simple comment. I wasn't being defensive. Your post sounded like you had some doubts so I was just making a clarification. I thought you were doubting the changes we had to make rather than being hypothetical. Sorry for any confusion.

Hello - welcome to our community!! We're very delighted to have you join us! I'm going to quote ballerplaya's post here because he summed everything up very nicely :) As he stated, we have a sticky that we like to use for introductions :) He provided a link to it so please repost your introduction there so we can all fully welcome you here! If you have any questions about anything, please don't hesitate to PM myself or another Tip.it Staff member :) Welcome again!
  8. Jagex rules have ALWAYS been strictly enforced. No changes have been made and certainly not at the urging of Jagex.
  9. I watched The Wedding Date a few nights ago. It was fun, some cheap laughs, etc. Now I'm having a Nip/Tuck marathon.

I definitely cried during those first seven minutes :P Awesome movie
  11. Whoa whoa whoa! halo2proman asked why you were considering this headset because he has heard that the people who typically buy it are interested in it because of the game environmentals. So I think he's suggesting that if that doesn't matter to you, you could probably find another headset that isn't known for good game environmentals and thus may be cheaper. That's just my interpretation of his posts, I know nothing about this headset or any other one for that matter :P
  12. Staff members are allowed custom ranks because they are unable to participate in Rank Contests (since they're the judges) :P
  13. Just a reminder/clarification that looking for a method to AFK train in the sense that you simply want a method that doesn't require a lot of clicking so you can multi-task/web browse/etc. is perfectly acceptable. The only time that AFKing becomes a violation of Jagex rules is when you are looking for a method that will allow you to leave the computer all together. So please keep the suggestions/comments within the rules :)
  14. What about that last dollar Easy, buy 10 lemonheads.
  15. Let's seeeee... Yesterday I watched Beethoven and The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. Today I reluctantly went to go see Solitary Man with my mom.. I watched the trailer and thought it looked bad but went anyway for my mom. It was just as bad as I thought it would be. Even my mom didn't like it. She should listen to me next time! :P
  16. Soooooooo cute!! I love the pocket picture and the one of the cat in the plant! :XD: :( :( :(
  17. We're very happy to have you join us, Cowman!
  18. I got caught shoplifting with a friend about 5 years ago. Well actually my friend got caught so they searched us both and found stolen merchandise on my friend but not me (although I had been shoplifting as well.. I guess I was pro at hiding it) but they banned me from the mall as well anyway, calling me her accomplice. I once broke into my friend's house and ate some of her candy while she wasn't home (I told her about it later, it was just a good laugh).
  19. It probably wasn't any sort of "personal attack"...but if you've been on the otehr end of it, it sure as hell feels like it. And no amount of teary expanations can truly justify her actions. Sure, she may had waning feelings. But she made no attempt to stop that fact. Never brought it to his attention. Never gave him any sort of warning. And if she really gave a crap as to how he felt, she wouldn't go around sleeping with his 'friends' right after breaking his heart. THAT's what's wrong with this picture. [probably where the "selfishly lost her virginity" was derived from, from the other post] You can't stop your affections from waning. You can't force yourself to love someone (i.e. she couldn't force her affections to stop waning and continue to love Maleficus). Yes she should have spoken to him if she knew what was going on at the time.. but maybe she didn't. I don't know her and I don't have a thorough understanding of what was happening, but you don't always know what your feelings are and how they're changing. Sometimes you won't have that thorough understanding until later when you can reflect on everything that happened. Perhaps she just wasn't really in a position to tell him how she was feeling. I don't know.. just kind of playing devil's advocate here. And I still don't see anything terribly wrong with the situation. I do think she was an idiot for having sex with his friend, but for reasons other than the fact that she had just broken up with Maleficus. My reasons would be that she was an idiot because she clearly had strong opinions on sex before which lead me to believe that she was heavily encouraged into having sex (which is backed up by the fact that she cut the sex short), and also because they had only been "dating" for a week or whatever it was. But those all boil down to MY personal opinions and views on sex rather than her doing something wrong to Maleficus. Maybe that makes me an insensitive person, idk.. My ex certainly thought I was insensitive for starting another relationship right after I broke up with him.. but I see no point in remaining single or w/e just for the sake of it. If you have feelings for someone and no more feelings for your ex, I think you should be with the new person rather than sit around and wait for x amount of time to pass "just because."
  20. Be mad at your "friend," not your ex-girlfriend. She's right, she can't help who she has feelings for. Would you have preferred that she stayed with you when she had no more affection for you and was attracted to someone else? I honestly don't see anything wrong with her getting together with someone else right away. I was in a similar situation once. She said her affections for you had been waning for quite some time and clearly her affections for your friend had been growing. It doesn't make sense for her to break up with you and then be single for a few weeks just for the sake of it when she clearly likes someone else and has liked him for a while. But your "friend" was completely out of line for trying to steal your girlfriend when she was with you... No true friend would do that. Now suddenly changing her morals/whatever and having sex with him right away was silly.. but that's her business, her fault. Not worth getting upset over imo. It's not like she cheated on you or anything. So I definitely don't see that as an attack against you. It's totally her decision so while you could be disappointed in her, there's no reason to be MAD at her. I understand that you're hurting but I think most of the pain/anger just comes from losing someone that you love. It's hard but you will make it through.

Ever since I got my new PC I had been wanting to create a massive digital painting to use as a background across both my monitors. I finally made it happen! :P I used references for basically everything.. The following screenshots are all at 16.7% zoom. The original file is massive :P [hide=WIP Screenshots] [/hide] [hide=Details @ 50% Zoom] [/hide]
  22. Although with IPB we do have the "Group" displayed under the avatar which also shows staff members' ranks :)
  23. Locking this topic since the question has been answered. A note to all: the RuneScape rules are all strictly enforced on Tip.it. Even if you disagree with a RuneScape rule, violating it is still unacceptable. Encouraging others to violate those rules (the reason usually being "no one will know" or "you won't get caught") is highly unacceptable and a violation of Tip.it Forum Rules.
  24. I watched The Little Mermaid tonight. Man I'm on a roll.
