  1. Four years ago it was spinning a pen around your hand. Last year it was this stupid game where one person would make a sign to another person, and if that other person didn't make the response sign right away, they'd have to lay on the ground for a few seconds. I'll think of more later :P
  2. I definitely do care about it and believe that it's happening but I'm not overly enthusiastic like some people who I know. At this point though, I do think it may be too late to 'fix' the problem.
  3. My car is similar to this one, but slightly different: [hide=][/hide] It was my grandmother's car.. :XD: It's really comfortable, I like it.

Thank you for your suggestion woopidoo :) I will try it out. I have also been wanting to experiment with food colouring, which is used in the photo that you provided. And I see the woman too, plugpoint! Thank you for the comments everyone :) I enjoy hearing which are your favourites!
  5. I agree that you should change the green because the Tip.it style is the default one and everything should be compatible with the default skin ;) You probably only need to change the shade though, if you want to keep green. Great guide! The "Leveling" section was a real laugh! I loved it!
  6. I guess I'm not really upset by it. Sure it's an inappropriate setting and she probably could have done it later if the baby wasn't wailing, but I just wouldn't look at her if it would distract/upset me or make me lose my appetite.
  7. You should check out her gallery.. it's absolutely incredible! Here are my other favourites of hers. The first is a digital painting, the second and third are traditional: pastels. Pft you make it sound so easy ;) I took ~100 pictures just to get six I really liked! :XD: But thank you! No one has picked my favourite yet!
  10. I think that's for the actual RuneScape hi-scores. The server the signatures use is timed to check once every 12 hours since the sig was created. Is there any chance that Pure_MageUK could be talked into creating a page for forcing a manual update? (Which, BTW, is well within RS rules, last I knew.) ~D. V. "Oh, how I'd like to update it sooner..." Devnull Or you could wait 12 hours? It's just a stat signature, I really don't think many people will be studying each others sigs for updates every 10 minutes Agreed. 12 hours isn't that much of a wait, and I'd must rather see Peter spend his efforts elsewhere :(

Thank you :) I agree that they can start to look pretty plain/repetitive after a while. They start to look more interesting if you do splash collisions (time it so that two drops hit each other). It's really hard to do though :( So I'll have to practice A LOT.

Had some more splash fun tonight :P [hide=6 Images]#1 #2 #3 #4 #5 #6 - I know the focus is kind of weird on this one, but I thought it was so cute!! XD [/hide]
  13. OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!! Is that Marilyn Manson in your mirror behind you????? *Loves Tripsis* Yes it is :D He has been making a special appearance on my door for probably five years now :D
  14. Haha I definitely know what you mean. Especially because most kids compare their parents to others, it just gets even worse :P I know that my kids will probably never see the effort I will try to make, but at least I will know what I'm trying to achieve.
  15. I know, I was just trying to clarify myself :) You are definitely right that it is a very fine line. I guess you could consider this to be a lifetime goal? ;) If/when I eventually do have kids, I'm sure that everything will make more sense to me. My ideas and wishes my change or develop further and hopefully for the better.
  16. Oh you are very welcome. : I think it's possible to both fear and love your parents. My folks can get pretty scary sometimes but I still respect them and it that scare tactic is probably one of the main reasons I never get into any trouble. I know what you mean but I guess what I was trying to say is that I want my children to feel comfortable coming to me when they have to make a big decision, or if they need help, or when they have boyfriend trouble, etc. My parents have always behaved in such a way that I have never been comfortable with talking to them like I would a friend because they never make an effort to truly connect with me. I don't feel comfortable telling my parents I messed up or made a mistake, because they're the kind of people who would just get mad and punish me for it. They don't try to talk to me about it. They just hear what happened and punish me accordingly. They rarely listen to what I have to say. It's so bad that I would feel better lying to them than telling them the truth. I don't want my kids to be in that situation. I know that the kind of fear that you mentioned can be effective, but I wouldn't want to use a "scare tactic" on my children. I would want to establish a more personal bond and find other ways to prevent them from getting into trouble. The flaw in that logic is there comes a point where your forgiving, "i won't get mad, it's okay" attitude is...the kid will start believing it. The things they do would get worse and worse (in theory) because they have the belief that as long as they come to you, it's still okay. Atleast that's a pattern I've noticed. I don't mean that I just would never get mad at my kids. I mean that if my kid were to make a mistake, I wouldn't want them to think, "Omg my parents are going to kill me.. they'll never understand why I did this.. they just don't care." I know that being "overly lenient" can be a bad thing. There are people in my grade who drink and do drugs and when their parents find out, their 'punishment' is not getting to sit on the floor at a basketball game.. instead they have to sit in the stands. That kind of parenting is just stupid. As I said in my above reply to Zierro, I just want my kids to be comfortable with talking to me on a personal level. I don't want them to see me as just a parent who drives them places, cooks them dinner and yells at them when they screw up. A lot of parents are like that, and I don't want to be one of them :P
  17. Just a bit of a silly pic, don't index it :P [hide=][/hide]
  18. The most important thing for me would not be someone my children fear. I don't want them to see me as someone who just disciplines or gets mad all the time. I want them to be able to come to me for everything and not be afraid to do so.

Mithril plates. In the extra week you could make a lot more than 3 million gp.
  20. And the best one, in my opinion ;) Congratulations!

Any girl that compares you to Edward Cullen is clearly never going to get a boyfriend. EVER. Yet somehow they still do (A girl I know says her boyfriend is as close to Edward Cullentm as she's gonna get) I'd say the same thing about mine :P
  22. Yes, it's really, really annoying. But there's nothing we can do about it. Some people clearly think it's a cool thing to do :?
