The Tip.It Events Team has actually closed. We now have a new team called the Tip.It Monster Hunting Team. I know they sound similar, but they're actually different teams. The TMHT completely focuses on monster hunting and combat.

Erm they haven't left us entirely in the dark the Stellar Dawn website, forums and releases to specific stellar dawn fan communities have been reasonably regular, the later especially. All they did do was stop bombarding 1 product (eg Rs) with news about another product (eg Stellar Dawn) as people moaned about that. Certainly not perfect in terms of keeping us up to speed, but certainly not enetirely in the dark. I'm not quite sure what you're referring to there? We never received any concept art, screenshots, no information about the game, etc. Any information we did get was pure speculation on our part. A few Stellar Dawn employees did post on Stellar Dawn Central but they never gave us any actual information. Almost all of their posts were just social/casual conversations.

I bet quite a few people will be a little tired of all the grinding over the weekend and may want to just take a break :lol: Either that or take advantage of the 1.1x to continue skilling.

[hide] [/hide] Kree'arra Many believe Armadyl is one of the hardest God Wars bosses in RuneScape simply because the hilt is the most expensive. However it's quite the contrary. Given the right gear and a good team, Armadyl is by far the easiest boss you'll ever slay. It's easy, relaxing, and a great place to hang out and have a good time. The boss will attack with a dealy ranged attack as well as a secondary magic attack, so a high magic defense is recommended as you'll be praying ranged. She attacks based on PID and will focus on the person with the highest PID so long as they are in combat with her. She attacks everybody with each attack, but while not in combat she'll melee the player with the highest PID who last attacked her. The minions will also remain on the player with the highest PID who last attacked Kree'arra. If you've got nothing to do the weekend of the 10th of March, feel free to join the AA (Armadyl's Army)! A few of the new armours look a little too costumey/ceremonial for my taste. But I do like a few of them. Have yet to see everything :P

We give custom ranks to people who cannot participate in rank contests (which would be crew members and moderators). They're not allowed to participate because they have to do the judging so we give them custom ranks if they want :)

As long as the rules are being followed, something could be perceived as funny, and people aren't spamming with new images every 5 seconds (see: "Don't make multiple posts in a short amount of time. If you want to post a lot of photos, put them in one post. This thread is a place to post in a few times a day - not once every few minutes."), it'll hopefully be fine.

I never know how to react to these situations :( I really don't like adding random people to my friends list. I like to keep it limited to people who are actually my friends. That's why I hate situations like this: That's about when I go "Uhhhhh, how to get out of this..." I don't want to add them but I have no idea how to say no without sounding like a total ass. How do you deal with these situations?

I wouldn't risk it either. Even if you say "This is just sex, I don't want to be exclusive and I don't want a relationship," that doesn't guarantee that she'll take it like that. It could start off that way, she might develop feelings, she might go crazy and get possessive, she might rage text you and spam call you, etc. I can think of a million times people have posted that they started out just as "friends with benefits" or a pure sex relationship and someone ended up getting attached, despite the agreement.

Srsly :mrgreen: I thought you knew all that and if I didn't include that note at the bottom you'd think I was weird for telling you information that you already knew. Ah well :P Fun stuff.

Yeah if it were easily possible we probably would enable some kind of toggle filter. But in IPB posts get censored BEFORE they get published. So as an example, even though we removed "shit" from the censor, all old posts containing the word "shit" still show up censored. Removing it from the censor doesn't change old posts, since they were already rendered as censored before they were published. I'm not sure the best way to word this, but in contrast, phpBB censors words after they're published, but before they're viewed. So in IPB if I click "edit" on a post that has censored words, I just see the censored word. But in phpBB, viewing the post shows the censored word but if I edit the post I can see what the author originally typed. In order to even begin to think about changing that we'd have to do some major back-end modifications. Then we'd have to do even more modifications to add in some kind of censor toggle. Complicated stuff, unfortunately. But I think right now we have a pretty good compromise :) All swear words in RuneScape screenshots are allowed to be posted and we only have the offensive words censored (plus the f-bomb). (FYI John, that info wasn't directed at you because I know you already know it :P Directing it at any other curious people)
