It kind of shows self doubt, mistrust, or both in a person if they need a ring to be reminded not to cheat or lie to their partner. Agreed. I honestly find it laughable that she asked for one >_< I don't have a problem with promise rings, but they should be something that's given.. not something that's asked for. That's just lame.

The seller didn't mention anything so I should have received that hardback. Instead, they sent me an Advanced Reading Copy, which at the time I determined to be worth ~$100. So I paid $15 for a $100 book. Cool beans. I then got interested (since I'm a book/first edition addict) and bought the Advanced Reading Copy of A Clash of Kings, first edition/first impression of A Storm of Swords, signed first UK edition of A Feast For Crows, and I got my own first edition/first impression copy of A Dance With Dragons signed. Now obviously with the TV shows prices have gone up. The collection that I spent about $350 on is now worth over $1000 :P I'm pleased.

I'm a freelancer and I have done woodcutting in the background while working on the clock on a project for a client. I don't let it affect my productivity so.. whatever :P I don't think I'd ever do it in an office environment though.

Stay friends - fine. But don't be best friends.. at least not now. That means don't be calling each other all the time and getting upset when she doesn't call you back. You were dating.. you need time to heal. It's going to be so much harder to get over her if you're in constant communication with her. I mean honestly, from that quote, you sound like you're still dating. You called her, complaining that she's not putting in enough effort, and told her that she needs to do her part. That sounds like a relationship. She broke up with you because she wanted the freedom to explore her new life. Maybe she does want to be friends, but she doesn't want being your friend to be a chore. I'd suggest laying off her. If it were me, I'd break off all contact at least until I got over her. But at the very least, don't hound her to be your friend. Lay off and if she calls you - chat, do whatever. But don't be on her back about how she has to do x, y, and z to be your friend. That sounds like a boyfriend and girlfriend with relationship problems.

Life is short. People get crushes, they want relationships. He likes this girl so let him go for it :P There's no reason to try to stop him.

Size - it's up to you. It's usually a good idea to base it off the following: How large you draw normally on paper. Do you usually make big sketches that fill up an entire page, or small doodles that fill up a small portion of the page? It's also often a good idea to at least generally try to link it to your monitor size. If you're using a 15" laptop it might feel a little weird using a large tablet. As for model.. well definitely get a Wacom tablet. Absolutely no question there. They have the best tablets. Period. If a digital artist has a tablet, they have a wacom. I wouldn't recommend learning a specific thing to get more skilled with using a tablet. I would recommend just sketching mindlessly. Have fun with it. Don't go into it with a specific goal. Just sketch, play around, do some doodling, etc. Wacom's cheapest option is the Bamboo Connect at $79. I personally use the Wacom Intuos 4 (link to Intuos 5, which is the new version) which is more geared towards professionals and therefore priced at $300 or so. Hey now, I'm left handed and made digital paintings with a mouse for YEARS! :P

Well Clan Support from Jagex proves the clan community isn't dying out it's just moving away from fan sites. Especially with the way the clan community behaves more often than not now... Well it's a different kind of community. With clan support there are a lot more clans that basically serve a similar purpose as friend chats: just groups of people hanging out or groups of people getting together for an activity (like dungeoneering). But there are a LOT less clans that follow the traditional sense of the word (PKing/warring clans).

Well he's also saying that it's not just Tip.It that's dead. The clan community is dying out in general everywhere.

That article may have some truth to it in some cases, but it would be silly to assume that's how it is in all cases. Those are perfectly valid reasons to like someone, and different women can like the same guy (or different guys) for different reasons. I also agree with what Laila said:

Thats unfortunate. :( Do you guys have any plans in the future to have some sort of voice server? I love them. :) I only just created this account today so please pardon me haha. We don't have any plans, but if there is a demand for it we'll always consider it. The problem was just that there didn't seem to be any demand for it :( Nobody was ever in our TeamSpeak.

The TeamSpeak has been down for sometime and unfortunately we have no plans to bring it back :( It was very rarely - if ever - used so when it went offline we just never bothered fixing it. The link to TeamSpeak will probably be removed very soon. Sorry for the inconvenience :(
