I love the graphics :) It makes the forum look very clean-cut and professional. The only thing I don't really like is all the dark grey - but that's just my style. I like forums to be lighter (i.e. white, light silvery-grey, etc). And it might be better if you made the text on the second banner (the one with all the links) stand out a bit more. Other than those two nit-picky things, I think it's great :)
  2. You're making some very nice progress :D  I wish you the best of luck, again :)
  3. Oreeeeoooooo!!!!! *Tackles* {Pre}congrats on 85 mining!!!!! :  \
  4. Your thread is moving along quite nicely :D I ish so pwoud of you  Beat me to 91 runecrafting and I'll give you a cookie
  5. Right now, I actually don't have any interest in colleges. 12 years of school is torture enough for me. This seemingly unwise decision is subject to change, however, in which case I'd probably be interested in RISD or other similar colleges involving art and/or computers (art, web design, flash animation, etc.).

Lol well they both are nice, aren't they? At least for me, if I look at the first one, then the second, it just feels like it's missing something. Like you can't go back after you've seen that awesome red beam thing :-w
  7. Nice work :) They're a bit messy, but after a bit of cleaning up, they'll be much better :)
  8. I'm against all drugs and alcohol. I don't care if they're not bad for you, or if you won't die, or if you won't get addicted, I think they're all stupid. When I see/hear about people doing drugs/drinking, I can't help but think to myself, "Wow, this person needs the aid of drugs/alcohol to have a good time? Or let loose?" It may be a little exaggerated or extreme, but that's the way I see it. Drugs altar your train of thought and just make you look stupid.. I can't see why anyone would want that. There is a bit of a personal experience that enforces this opinion. When I was in eighth grade, my best friend got into drugs and alcohol. At first I just kind of shrugged it off, thinking it was a phase. I didn't have a strong opinion against these kinds of things back then. But then it started to get really bad. Once she realized that I wouldn't smoke/drink with her, she ditched me for "cooler friends." Or just for friends who could "hook her up" I guess. It hit me pretty hard and made me realize how powerful these things can be.

Gah! I can't decide which I like better  I think I like them both for different reasons :-k I like version one because it makes it seem a bit different from your usual abstract black and red sigs. It sort of adds a different element to it, not quite sure how to explain it as well as I'd like to. But I like version two because it allows the white background to have more domination in the picture. It's more simplified, which is usually the style you have with these kinds of signatures. Think I'm gonna go with one though :-w Great job, as always :D
  11. Dork Punker - he introduced me to Runescape

  19. Not the greatest website in the world.. But either way, it doesn't belong in Off-Topic, as it's Runescape-related.
  20. Exactly. If people value animals more than other human beings, they need to be dragged into an alley and shot. Why do people forget that animals would kill us the first chance they get? What makes you say that? I'd argue that there is far more violent killing among humans than animals. At least they don't run around setting off bombs. Most animals only kill (or try to kill) if they're hunting or feel a threat to themselves or their babies. Well, that's usually how it works. Animals kill anything that they deem that would be good to eat. And seeing as we're walking bags of meats... well...yeah. Granted the herbivores wouldn't kill us; I'll give you that. As for the humans. Well... I can't lie. But humans are generally idiots. Humans run around placing bombs because that is what they believe is best for their family/nation/god. Animals kill to survive because it's their nature. They'd kill you if they're hungry enough regardless how obedient you think the animal may be. The diffrence between the two species is that one can surpress his/her instinct and one can't. Can you guess which? In many cases, I don't think humans can 'suppress his/her instinct.' Sometimes it's exemplified in slightly different scenarios (like people who just fight to survive in the business world because they can't stand the thought of losing, or being brought down), but sometimes it's not. There are some serial killers out there (usually the ones who are tested to be "mentally unstable") who just can't put aside their desire to kill. Or even just when people say things like, "I'm sorry I did that, I wasn't thinking." I'd argue that they did it out of sheer instinct, above all things. The human and animal races are both very different, and we have to accept that. But I certainly don't think that someone who has different view should be, "dragged into an alley and shot." That seems like a very inappropriate way to "deal with people" who hold significantly different views and opinions than yourself. All and all, I disagree with your views and you disagree with mine. I think we should leave our differences at that :P We've gotten pretty far off from animal testing already, lol.
  21. Nice poem :D It's fun to see a humourous one now and again. A few other people have already touched on this, but the only major problems were with the flow/rhythm in certain areas. It could do with some tweaking, but other than that, great job :)
  22. Umm.. Wrote this after I found out my [ex]boyfriend cheated on me.. I was a little upset :) The reason why I like it is because it's the most truthful piece I've written. It's not exactly well-written, just truthful. It might be a bit rough around the edges because I just sat down and poured it out in about 5-10 minutes. Have you ever felt so stupid about something - such as a decision you made or a bad judgement, that you just wish you could rewind and redo everything? That way you wouldn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t have to experience the pain, agony and suffering of failure, rejection, humiliation and lost hope. It̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s as if nothing will ever be the same again, because you̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve encountered the worst, and lost the best. Even though the best didn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t turn out to be so satisfying, you can̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t convince yourself that you̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re better off. Now that you̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve seen defeat and disappointment, you will never see the light again. All happiness drained from within, leaving you empty, cold-hearted and with a small ego, lacking optimism and faith. Once you̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve lost hope in something and tried to move on, you can̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t simply forget about the past and the negative events that went along with it. A scar has been burtally burned into your tender skin. Your blood and innocence drained until all that remains are the buried emotions of a suffering reject. False words of promise and assurance once flooded your ears, blocking the truth. Now these words drift away and lose all meaning and value in your life. You have no one to turn to, nobody to share your pain with, because you̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve lost the one person that you trusted with your confidence. You̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve been damaged in a way that not even words can express. You can̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t simply pretend to understand such emotional suffering, you have to feel the tears dripping down your face, drenching your smile with sorrow. Your laughter fades as you realize that your innocence had been taken advatage of.
  23. Looks like somebody finally got his blog made :D It looks good :) Was all that stressing over it worth it? :
