  1. I've moved this to General Help & Advice, all questions belong here :)
  2. I moved your other thread to Graveyard Help & Advice. Next time, don't make two threads based on the same thing, just edit the first one if you'd like to make changes.
  3. I think it looks great so far :) I can't wait to see the finished product! I love your avatar, btw

I think it looks great :) Very unique style. Good luck, btw :-w
  5. I agree with a lot of eckered's comments/criticism. Overall I think the sig looks great. As for the text.. I think it needs to be a bit shinier. Maybe use a lighter grey and make it "glow" a bit more. It might work :-k The colours are fantastic :D

I think this actually fits better in the Gallery than Tech, Stilev. As for Question 1, you can use the various selection tools to outline what you want to keep, then invert the selection so that you select everything except what you want to keep, then just delete it. There are really many ways to do it. I'm sure many other people will give you great suggestions as well.
  7. A few unmentioned: Sweatshirt = Jumper Shoes = Trainers
  8. Hehe it's actually possible to do 100k nats in 24 hours if you're completely insane. Anyway, best of luck!
  9. It's great for a first try :) After you spend a bit more time practicing you can make the background a little more detailed, work on shading and maybe facial expression.
  10. My guess is that people play the "popular" ones because they have better rewards or are just downright more fun. Out of all the minigames in your unpopular list, the only one of those that I think (and I'm sure many other people) is fun is Trouble Brewing. But I'd say about 80% - 90% of the people who play Runescape are far too concerned with how much gp they have. Therefore, they play the minigames that give the best rewards. People duel because they can stake and win a lot of gp. Or they duel because they want to "test who's better." People play Castle Wars because it's fun and can be a good source of xp (particularly magic). And many people like the rewards (CW armour). People play Fight Caves so they can try to get a Fire Cape or even just an Obby Cape. People play Barrows because the rewards are fabulous. You can make a couple million gp in just one load. And Pyramid Plunder is an amazing source of thieving xp and you have a chance of getting a Pharoah's Sceptre. Wheras with the other minigames.. There really aren't any great rewards. Even Trouble Brewing just doesn't give good xp. You usually get soemwhere between 0 and 10k gp in one game, which is about 20 minutes. That's not a great deal at all considering all the other great ways to get firemaking/crafting/etc. xp.
  11. I don't think that's quite fair to say. I love to read and I love to write. I just don't like reading other peoples' work most of the time. I don't mean that in an offensive way, it's just that I'm very picky about the subjects that I like to read. When I read a book, I read it because I like the genre and think it sounds good. I don't want to wander into a forum reading all sorts of material that I don't personally find enjoyable. Also, I think a lot of us (maybe not on Off-Topic specifically, but speaking about the Tip.it Forum in general) came here in the first place so we could get help or discuss Runescape. That may not be why everyone is here now, but Tip.it is a Runescape-based site, really. That's why (I think) the forums such as The Gallery/Bazaar/Varrock Library are less active. Because people came here to discuss the game, not art/writing. Quite honestly, there are tons of writing-based or art-based forums out there that would be much better to read/post on, if that's what you're specifically looking for.
  12. The title is a bit stereotypical, but I'll look past that.. The other day, this person was in front of me who had their blinker on whenever they didn't turn. It was on while we were going straight, it was on while we were at a stoplight, and they finally decided to turn it off moments before they made their turn - nearly 5-10 minutes after turning it on in the first place..
  13. Good luck with 99 crafting~! :D That was always one 99 that I had my eye on
  14. We have a special price check guide, check it out here: ***Price Check Please*** Look here for value estimates!!!
  15. Single item - White Phat for 55m Bulk items - 200k oak planks :P

I can't walk in front of bathroom doors at schools/airports/restaurants (basically anywhere other than a house.. I'm fine with that). I'm always afraid the door is going to swing open as someone walks out, and hit me in the face.
  17. California, USA (I'm actually going to speak about my particular town in California. Not going to say the exact name, but that's what I'm mainly referring too :P) Pros: - It's a pretty remote town.. Not a lot of traffic, buildings, people, etc. - I thought that I'd be able to think of more pros, but I guess not, lol. Cons: - Not cold enough for my personal liking. It rarely rains anymore and never snows. - It takes 20+ minutes to get anywhere since my town is so small (20 minutes to the closest movie theater/retaurants/mall/etc.) - I live in a very O.C.-like (referring to the TV show  ) community, which I don't fit in with
  18. -Is hungry- I swear, Oreo.. One day, I'll turn my back and before I know it, you'll be 99 firemaking and mining! :XD: Anyway, I apologize if I seem a bit 'out of it' at the moment.. Yesterday I didn't wake up until about 3:45 pm - when my sister woke me up when she got home from school! Then, naturally, I couldn't sleep that night.. I eventually fell asleep around 4 am - 5am.. Leaving me with about two measly hours of sleep. So that's what I'm working with here. Well lets try to be on-topic now, Tripsis. I hope you had a fantastic Christmas and New Year! Completing 85 mining and 99 firemaking will be a great way to start the new year off. I can't wait to see what goals you have in store for us next~! \

I agree with you entirely. The way school is now is just ridiculous: - 7+ hours at school a day - An average of 2-5 hours of homework a night (at least at my school) - Tens of tests/quizes a year.. In each class ..And so on. Tests hardly test someone's intelligence (or how well they've "grasped the information"), but rather how many facts/concepts they can memorize in a certain period of time.. Or how dedicated they are to getting that silly letter "A" sprawled across their test. I think that students slaving away over school[work] for ~10 hours a day is just stupid.. Especially when you actually take into consideration how little of the material will actually help you in the future. Slightly getting off-track here, but still relating to school.. It really bugs me when people go out and do all these studies about how "Teenagers aren't getting a healthy amount of sleep!" Well do people ever wonder why? We spend 7+ hours at school, 2+ hours on homework a night, some of us engage in various sports, etc. As students, we have so little time to actually discover who we want to be, or what we want to do when we grow up, or engage in activities that we enjoy. So we either end up staying up half of the night finishing our school work because we had basketball practice after school.. Or we stay up half the night doing something we enjoy because we didn't have time during the day.. I could go on for hours, but I'm getting a little side-tracked :ohnoes:

I have a very extreme view on our education system all together. The way I see it, we shouldn't be taught 90% of the material past grade 9 or so. Along the lines, I have found most of the material to just be repeated anyway (especially in sciences and histories). As long as we're going to have an educational system in place, we might as well make it useful. So yes, I agree with you... In an extreme sense. I say get rid of everything past mid-high school and start fresh. Let the students have more control over the classes they take, let them pick courses that will be useful to them in the particular lifestyle they want to lead. I'd keep going and reveal my even more extreme opinions, but people will start to question my sanity :ohnoes:

  22. Leesters - Actually at 91 runecrafting, most people make an average of 1m gp per hour, after subtracting the price of pure essence. Given that information, I doubt that you will constantly get a whip every two hours. Sure it may happen a few times.. You may even get 3 whips in two hours. But if you want to settle down and make some gp, runecrafting is the way to go because your time spent crafting isn't unpredictable. EDIT: Once you're 75+ runecrafting, you typically use 1.5k-2.5k essence per hour. At 91+ runecrafting, that's 3k-5k nats, which is 900k-1.5m gp per hour, before subtracting the price of pure essence.
  23. Terrific idea! :D
  24. Probably not, I like Tripsis. If I could change my name, however, I might consider changing it to Cazzyae - which was my first account. But when I tried to access it again a few years later (I basically quit once I got off tutorial island), it wouldn't let me, nor would it let me recreate it.
  25. I've moved this to General Help & Advice. From now on please post all questions here :)
