I'm pretty sure that if you buy the Educational version, it's only $200-300, andufushtebronze. Nice tutorial, Metroid :D I understand why Cadburys thinks the semi-circle should be feathered/gradiented, but I actually really like it how it is. I've traveled to many places, far to many to list in fact. Agreed. I'm quite confident that most of the negative comments towards Runescape are based on first impressions (many times relating to the graphics). Or some people may just not like certain aspects of the game. Maybe it's not "violent" enough for them, or like games with more pvp fighting interactions. There are tons of others I could throw out there, but I think you get the point :P

Well you can't exactly do pixel art on paper, can you? :? :P As for which one looks better.. If you're going to use one in a signature or something, PC looks better in my opinion. It's typically cleaner, the colours are bolder, etc. My best advice to you would be to practice. That's the only way you can get better. To help you practice, use Peter's advice for tracing your sketch. It will help you get better at doing lineart with a mouse.

Haha that's quite an original tradition. My family doesn't really have any. We used to have this one, horrible tradition though. On Christmas morning we were never allowed to open presents until about 10:00 am, when all of my half sisters/grandparents would come over (can you imagine being a 5-10 year old kid and not be allowed to touch your presents for 3 hours? :P). Then we'd all sit in a circle and open presents one at a time, everyone watching. Certainly one of the most nerve-wracking things ever :P As for now, it's usually different every year. In fact, many times around Christmas we go on vacation, which I hate. Vacationing over Christmas is never quite the same as having Christmas at home.

I really like this, a lot. The text fits perfectly with the mood of the picture, as it does in all of your sigs, I must say :wink: The colours fantastically contribute to the whole idea of "frozen." Why? If I ate meat, I would eat every type out there. I'm not exactly sure what you're asking about. Why can't I eat baby lambs or dolphins? If that's so, here's why: It's sort of difficult, to explain really, but I'll do my best. I'm an animal person. I've been around certain animals a lot (i.e. swam with dolphins). I just couldn't imagine eating the same animal that I happily interacted with. To me it would seem like eating my friend. But things like cow and pig meat are so common, most people eat them before realizing what they're eating (i.e. eating bacon as a little kid). I've grown up eating those meats. In addition, I rarely come into any kind of contact with those types of animals. It's just a mental thing really.. EDIT: I also agree with what Abyssalwhip said about veal. I could never eat animals that were basically tortured and/or abused.

I simply love the colours, they're breathtaking! They definitely make the picture flow nicely. The right part of the water is bugging me a bit. The sharpness does give it a sense of depth, light and reflection, but maybe make it a little less sharp. It makes it seem less like water, I think. I love the water's edge though, it's fabulous! :D As for the tornado - excellent colours and shape! But maybe make it a bit more defined? Not sure how that would look but it might give it more body/depth. Overall, fantastic job! Love the colours
