But if it was started as a "religious" holiday why take the religious backgrounds out? Nadril- If you have seen some of my previous post on other pages you will find out that this is nothing more than a rhetorical question. Here's my guess: The modern day gift-giving evolved from the three Wise Men bringing Jesus gifts. Over the years, as new religions developed and Christianity itself changed, Christmas became less and less of a holiday to celebrate the birth of Christ. Sure, some people still do celebrate it for that reason, but now there are more reasons why people celebrate Christmas. Quite a few non-Christians celebrate it as a reason to get together with their families and exchange gifts to one another (three Wise Men). This idea probably came from some of Christianity's teachings such as loving everyone and all that stuff. People just celebrate it in a more general way instead of just celebrating the birth of Jesus. Things evolve over time. We really couldn't expect Christmas to keep the exact same meaning forever :P Again, just my guess :P

Pretty good for such a short amount of time. But the head looks very strange to me. :? It almost looks as if you cut off a baby's head and sewed it to the body of a warrior :shock: Hope it doesn't sound too harsh, but that's what it looks like to me. Maybe try making the head a bit smaller and getting rid of the red on his neck? As for the armour, it looks pretty cool! Although I must say, it does look a bit like he's wearing women's underwear :ohnoes:

The design looks good. You seem to like metallic colours, eh? :P It's probably just my computer or browser (Safari) but the main content portion is off to the left about an inch or so. :? Other than that, I really like it. It seems clean-cut, neat and organized :thumbsup:

I'm going to have to agree with Pjb. First of all, I don't get what motivated you to make an Easter sig in December.. Especially when it's not even an upcoming holiday yet. But I'll look past that.. I'm really not a huge fan of cut & paste sigs, or enlarging images. There's just nothing incredibly special about it, to be honest. You cut out a couple Runescape images, enlarged them and added a lens flare. Perhaps if there was something other than just blue in the background it would be a bit more catchy. And if the text were more interesting. I could say more but I don't want to be too criticizing :ohnoes: And just so you know, the area next to the bunny's left eye is blue :P

Great job so far :D Not a ton to comment on yet, but I can't wait to see how it progresses :)

Well I've always thought that F2P kind of was the demo version of Runescape. I mean sure, a couple years ago F2P and P2P weren't a whole lot different. But F2P has always been the 'minimal' version of P2P, which is, in my opinion, a demo. Although, I wouldn't be surprised if Jagex was getting more and more money hungry. I mean look how huge Runescape is now. There are millions of members, and about 800k-1m of which are paying members. I wouldn't be surprised if they were just trying to get more F2P players over to P2P to make more money :P Or, of all things, use that money to help expand/fund the game. Either one.

One of the most popular stat signature sites is RuneWeb.net. Under the RuneWeb menu on the left, click 'Signatures.' Simply follow the instructions and something like this will come up: Copy the 'BBCode' and paste it in the signature section of your Profile on these Tip.it forums :)

Well I added update #4. I followed the advice you guys gave and added/changed a few things in the picture. One thing I didn't change, which I'm still debating whether or not to do, is how far the Malamute is sinking into the snow. I might change this later on, but I'm not yet sure. I originally made the Malamute with the idea that he wouldn't sink as much, since he weighs like 30 lbs less. But we'll see. remoteman - The dog's face looks strange because I can't draw dogs :-w \

The first one looks pretty good, but I don't really like the second one. The battery is too far down on the screen and the overall image isn't clear enough for my liking. Neat ideas though.

Well you're not even sure yet if it's for you. I would just wait it out until Christmas until you can find out officially. If it does turn out to be for you, I would keep it for a while and then give it away a few days/weeks later. This might not be the best thing to do, but it's not in my personality to admit to not liking presents. I always feel really bad about it since most parents try so hard to please their kids, I can't stand the look on their faces if I try to tell them I don't like it. Once the 'Christmas buzz' has worn down, give it to Goodwill or something, like someone previously suggested. That's what I would do :oops:

Photoshop is amazing once you get the hang of it :) You can basically do anything you want - simple animation, pixel art, digital painting, edit digital photos.. Anything, you name it :D

Well.. A digital painting can be made on a variety of programs, most commonly Photoshop (I use CS2) or Corel Painter. It's basically where you use the brush tool instead of the pencil tool, like in pixel drawings :wink: Thanks for all the comments/ideas you guys! :D Working on it as we speak :)

Wilderness to 65, then Ape Atoll. Why? I'll be very to-the-point: Arena: It's slow, even if you don't miss any pillars, which I'm sure is impossible on a long-term scale. We all get bored at some point and start slacking off, but in the arena you can't or else you shouldn't count on getting any xp. Wilderness: Just about as good as Ape Atoll but with one major difference: in the wilderness course there is never a certain point where you stop failing. However, in Ape Atoll there is (read below): Ape Atoll: Fast xp AND, at level 75+, you stop failing.. Forever. You can literally camp out at the course with Super Energy Pots (not required, but it probably boosts your xp per hour to 50k+). I wouldn't recommend Ape Atoll until 65 or so though, because you fail a lot at first. So use Wilderness until 65 then Ape Atoll to 99 :wink:

It looks great! I love how the white really dominates the picture. The clarity and extreme contrast of the image itself definitely adds to it. And I actually like it better with the border :) :oops:

I think you should do whatever you find easiest. Personally, I wouldn't take money into consideration. I'd simply go with the fastest method. If Onyx Enchanting is still fastest and you don't have too much trouble getting cosmics, then I'd stick with that. But if it's not that much faster and you're fed up with searching for cosmic rune sellers, alching would probably be the smoothest course.
