Well there are different kinds of graphics professionals. Most people into advertising use Illustrator. But Photoshop is used for digital painting, retouching photographs and animation. But if you only plan on doing pixel art, just stick with MS Paint (if you have it). There's no sense in buying a program that's a couple hundred dollars just so you can do pixel art.. Especially if you have MS Paint laying around already :wink:

For pixeling? I never saw Illustrator as much of a pixeling program. Overall I prefer Photoshop much more. Illustrator, to me, is more of a program for designing advertisements and such. I'd go with Photoshop, there's a lot more to do I think :P

PC is the fastest form of combat xp. The more people with high combat levels in each game, the better. Basically, the faster you can get through games (successfully), the more/faster xp you get. If you have a lot of high level combat players playing with you, you'll probably get around 70k xp per hour. P.S. Yeah, I'm a bit confused :? You say that you want some good training ideas because you're not sure of good spots, but then completely answer your own question. The spots you mention seem right on track to me.

Not everybody is, but quite a few people these days are. Like a few people said before me, particularly women. I go to a private school and most of the girls at my school (and some guys) are obsessed with what brands they wear. It doesn't just have to look good, it has to be the correct brand. When a girl and my school wears a new, expensive brand of jeans, all the other girls spend weeks trying to figure out what the brand is (because of course, it's unacceptable to actually ask the girl. Because that would reveal to her that the other girls don't know what it is). :shock: I really think it's gone too far. Sure, if people want to wear expensive clothes, let them. But why should the brands matter? :? The way I see it, if it looks good, who cares what brand it is or how much it cost.

As sad as it seems, I really don't think there is a successful way to stop racism. That would mean changing the personal beliefs and opinions of people and how they impose those beliefs on their kids, which I think is impossible. Simply making it illegal, or all the other ideas you mentioned, won't prevent people from thinking a certain way about individuals. After all, they made drugs illegal, they established D.A.R.E. programs, but there are still millions of people around the world who use them.

Hmm here are a few suggestions/observations I have: - The moon looks very stretched out.. Horizontally. Either make it more circular or make it a half moon as B_50_2 suggested. - The tree looks a bit strange to me :? I'm pretty sure it's those awkward branches on top. Maybe try adding more branches (some starting farther down on the tree too) and reaching to the sky. - As for the reflection of the moon in the water.. I don't think the reflection would would be so "perfect" if you get what I mean. Here's an example I found on google: http://www.absolutad.com/gallery/reflection-water.jpg. You don't have to make it exactly like that, but at least make it seem like the reflection is in water. So add ripples or some aspect that hints that the reflection is in moving water, so it shouldn't be a perfect circle. - The picture itself seems kind of empty. I really like the idea you have started here but try adding a few more minor details. Even if it's just reeds on the side of the pond, or light mountains in the background, or grey clouds in the sky. The smallest details can really make the picture a win or lose :wink: - Many people have already commented on the grass. I'm definitely not a pixel expert so as woopidoo2 suggested, try looking for tutorials on google or something :wink: Best of luck! Hoped these helped!

Thanks, I'll work on it tomorrow :) Like I told you, I really like the tree, the only problem with it (if there's any at all :P) is the bottom right branch, just seems out of place, bending down like it is :oops: And you shouldn't definately try adding the moose :) That branch is broken, k? :( :oops: I shouldn't definitely try adding the moose? I'll just pretend like that makes sense :wink:

I agree that this really is an issue we need to address. Some of the most random topics (especially lately) turn into large flame wars and debates about religions. It usually results in a mod being forced to lock the entire topic (or spend an hour deleting all the 'spammy' religious posts) when the original purpose of the thread was perfectly fine. Religion is such a heavy topic and often times interesting to discuss, but some people can't handle light debates on such a huge matter. So almost all religion-basesd topics (and non religion based, usually something to do with morals) turn into huge arguments about religion.

Well I'm off to bed now. I'm going to wait for a few more ideas/suggestions before finishing off the pic. I'd really like some feedback on the tree. I personally think it looks a big strange, messy and out of place. But I'd like more comments :ohnoes: :ohnoes:
