Question: Least-Admirable Skill Cape
Firemaking is not easy. Its rather expensive to buy, or if you go cheaper with cheaper logs, it takes even longer. Well Lunar_Drifter did mention in his first post that all 99 skills are certainly admirable. Expanding on that, they all take a degree of patience and dedication. But that does not deny the fact that firemaking is one of the easier skills. Yes, it does take a few weeks unless you "no-life it" ( \ ) but it's one of the faster skills in the game and not too expensive. I think this is particularly evident in the increasing number of people who we see setting 99 firemaking goals on various "Goals & Achievements" threads. Lol I'll try to resist

Question: Least-Admirable Skill Cape
As for which aren't quite as impressive, since they're just so common, I think we can all agree on cooking and fletching. As for the capes/emotes themselves.. I'd have to go with thieving. I think many of us (especially those of us who have the cape) can agree that the emote is very disappointing.

I once heard...
nope, they have always been rasing, its not solo'ly becasue of pest control, my first set in Jan 06' cost me something like 3.1m in march they got scammed and they cost me like 3.4m and then again june which cost me 3.6m they have always been on the slow rasie long before pest control off topic: the only item have ever been scammed seems to be a ranger set for some reason :XD: Yeah, well I guess I wouldn't know :P I took a break from Runescape from December '05 to July '06. I was just making a guess :) My mistake.

Stupid PC products... The noobs of today!
SaidinWoT - I agree with what you say, that some people do PC just so they can look "cool" or whatever. I know that there are many people who think that levels/expensive items will give them automatic respect from other players. What I disagree with is that "PC Products" should be classified in this way. I think we have to accept that some people will will get high levels through PC for the sole purpose of being admired/"respected," while others do it so they can have more time for other things. I just felt like the author of this thread that believed all "PC Products" lacked intelligence.

What do you think other tipiters are going to be?
I split off a bunch of unnecessary posts. It's okay to get a little sidetracked, but to drift so far that we're talking about "hot Japanese girls in skimpy outfits" is unnecessary :P Lets try to keep this at least somewhat on-topic :P

I once heard...
I don't ranger boots/robin hood hats raised in price because of the pures. I'd say it's because, with the release of PC, most people training combat-related skills use that instead of killing monsters. Therefore, not as many people do Treasure Trails, meaning there are less rewards, meaning there are less ranger boots/robin hood hats to go around, so the prices rose. I doubt they would go up just because of pures.

Stupid PC products... The noobs of today!
Rebdragon - I understand what you're saying, but I guess my real question is why this applies to combat. What about the other skills in the game? Why don't we have "Gilded Altar Products" or "Ancient Magic Products" (rich people who barraged to 99 for example, instead of doing it the "hard way" back in Classic), or "Cook X Products." Maybe it's because Runescape appears to be somewhat centered around combat (since that's the level that's shown to the public), but I still don't think it's a proper way to classify people.

Stupid PC products... The noobs of today!
Lol. I think that they should have a little intellegence to know where west Ardounge is (I mean, COME ON! Maybe in Ardounge, idiots?). But, you would think that higher combat = more time playing = more information about the game. But I disagree with that. What about people who don't like combat? Technically, if you can make this argument, you would also make the argument along the lines of, "That guy has a higher woodcutting level. Higher woodcutting level = more time playing Runescape = he knows more about Runescape than the other person, with a lower level." But that's not true at all. I'm sure the woodcutter knows a lot about woodcutting, but we can't be sure that he knows a lot about everything else. Someone who got to level 118 WITHOUT the use of PC could easily make this same mistake (about not knowing where Ardougne is). S/he obviously just spends all of his/her time training combat, just not necessarily in Ardougne itself, but other parts of Runescape. I just don't like this whole concept that having a high combat level makes it socially unacceptable for you to have questions. By this stereotype, if you're a high level and don't know something about the game, you're an idiot. -.-

I agree with Nugget89 and Severation. The way I see it, "PC Products" aren't taking the easy way out, they're simply using the smart way. What makes more sense: -Spending one month at PC to max combat stats so you can (1) do stuff IRL or (2) move on to non-combat skills -Spending 5 months maxing combat on "real monsters" so you can tell everyone that you didn't use PC I don't think that not using PC gives you more knowledge of Runescape, like I said earlier. In addition, I don't see why people shouldn't use this PC update to their advantage, like Severation stated. That's great if you want to be able to say that you didn't use PC, but what is that going to do for you in the end? Nothing. You just end up wasting more time playing Runescape or training combat, when you could have gotten it done a lot quicker.

Stupid PC products... The noobs of today!
I disagree with this entirely. Why do people with high combat levels have to be extremely intelligent and resourceful? Even before PC there were plenty of higher levels who didn't know much about Runescape, or used chat speak, and so on. I don't really see where the connection is between combat and intelligence. Quite honestly, even before PC, the only thing combat really requires is the ability to click. After that, nothing really matters. I find it very stereotypical to say that PC products are idiots. There are some who are not very resourceful and/or intelligent, and there are some who are. And vice versa as well (with non PC-products).

Hiya, I must please ask you to: 1. Remove your "Wall of Trust." Such "walls" are now against section 1.3 - Scamming, of the Tip.it Forum Rules. 2. Change the colour in your first post back to default. You may use colours such as red to emphasize some words, but you cannot post the entire thing in one colour. If you do not make these changes soon yourself, I will do it or remove your thread.

Locking this because I see no point in the post. As far as I can tell, you're not asking a question related to RS.

Ok, this is very unusual...
I brought teleports, I was teleblocked. I've never seen this many before, They just all poped up today... Well the PKers still could be thinking "easy kill" because I know many 120+s who RC and don't bring teles. Or for all we know, it could be a bunch of bored friends who spread themselves out over a couple worlds for some RC PKing. Or just a random coincidence.
-
Ok, this is very unusual...
It is true that it is rarer to see higher levels RC PKing, but not unheard of. I've made about 500k nats or so in the Abyss and see a couple lvl 120+s from time to time. It's usually because they're "bored" I gather. Or because they think they'll get it easy. Most RCers lvl 90-110 or so are very cautious. They bring one click teles, sometimes food, prayer pots, etc. Whereas 120+s are usually confident and feel very safe. So I'm guessing those PKers reckon that they'll get a few easy glories, because very few of the high level RCers actually bring teleports :P

has anyone done a POH layout guide
I don't think there's a guide, but here are a few pointers: -Chapel near house portal -Quest Hall near Chapel (unlimited glory) -Think about conserving rooms. You don't really need a parlour, you don't need multiples of the same room (except two bedrooms) -Think about what rooms you will want in the future, even if you can't build them yet Hope those helped :)

Only 1person's account in highscores
That's what I was thinking as well. There are tons of free email sites out there, you could easily create 10 emails, each for a different account. It's a nice idea with good intentions, but I don't think it would be very effective :?

Are you a spender or a saver?
I always spend mine for skills right away. I never just save up in hopes of spending it "some day," because I always have at least 5 goals lined up :XD:

How long time..
The way I see it, things like this are pretty unpredictable. It depends on how many other people are ranging, what ranging materials you use, etc. Your best bet is probably just to time yourself for one load and do the math to get a rough estimate.

Christmas Eve...Begging Eve?(discuss)
Yeh, once again, people want something in return. Xmas is about giving, he chose to give the salamander. That's terrible -.- Another thing that bugs me is when someone gives you a friendly gift or donation. Then a couple weeks later, they use your lack of giving to them as an "I owe you" and demands something from you in return because they "gave you a present last month!" If that makes any sense :anxious:
