  1. Have you actually tried talking to her about how she shouldn't change her future for you? Put her on the spot and ask her which universities she is interested in. She's picking her choices around you because she wants to be close to you. If you're willing to keep up a long distance relationship throughout university, make sure she knows that. We're not even in a relationship. I met her at an open day, we briefly talked for about two sentences in which she asked for my number. One hour later she has now decided to try to plan her universities around me and plans to visit me even though she lives 3+ hours away.... Oops? Lol that's weird. Well if you actually want to be friends with her, then you should casually talk to her about it. If not, don't worry about it too much and slowly try to phase her out of your life (i.e. don't talk to her as much). With a little luck, she'll move on :P

  3. I really enjoyed the music :)
  4. I've already said it like three times: because it's excessive spam. Spamming is against the rules and this is the only forum where we make an exception. And tbh I'd think you would at least be thankful for that :P But we really don't need multiple, intentional, spammy posts made one right after the other. No I won't hunt you down if you double post now and then but if I do come here and see like 4 or 5 pointless posts in a row by the same person, that wouldn't be good. Honestly it just brings this already spammy thread down to a whole new level of spam. I get that you guys want to spam with each other, but do you really want to spam alone? I don't even see how that's appealing. As long as you don't forget to remove it, I suppose it would be alright. But if anyone does complain about it I'd ask you to stop. I really hope that doesn't mean, "If you do it behind her back that's fine" :P
  5. As I said, I have no problem with it if it's accidental ;)
  6. I don't have a problem with multiposting things if there's a reason/purpose. But if the posts themselves are spam and they're literally seconds or a minute apart.... honestly? Why is that necessary? This forum was never meant to be the "Spam Forum" but unfortunately that's what it's become. We're willing to deal with that to an extent. We let you guys spam yourselves to death in here but the least you can do is do it one post at a time.
  7. Oh and actually just to clarify, I wasn't even browsing Forum Games. I was browsing someone's history who posted in here so all those videos (plus others that had been quoted) played for me. Double posting by accident is fine. But posting 3-4 completely spammy posts (as in not replying to someone) in a row is pretty excessive tbh :/
  8. Because intensive images don't cause problems for me. But fifteen videos playing at once does. And I'd browse Forum Games while doing something CPU intensive because those videos aren't supposed to be posted with autoplay :P And I actually was going to say something about the double posts if they continued.
  9. Let's not. And a general reminder: autoplay videos are against the rules. Posting videos is fine, but please no autoplay! I just had a horrible experience where I was rendering a 3D model (which eats CPUs) and came across a page with fifteen autoplay videos. So don't do it. Or my banhammer will be meeting the back of your head.
  10. I actually enjoyed the first Cars movie. I never expected great things from the second one but I am disappointed to hear about the reviews. I'll still be seeing it at some point anyway.
  11. Cute sleeping kitty: How dare you wake me up! I angry nao!
  12. Well we don't have a set number, but we're honestly not looking to hire as many people as the previous recruitment drives. For the past two we were really focused on bulking up our numbers so we took on around 10-15 trainees. I think our numbers will be a bit less this time since we're not necessarily lacking moderators, we're just looking for some fresh blood and fewer, but high quality mods. So while we don't have a hard limit, I imagine it will be less than in the past :) Maybe 5-10 instead of 10-15.
  13. Nice to see another digital artist around here :) I think the main problem with your first one is that your background is sharper than your foreground. The water and main subject is really blended but the lightning and brushstrokes in the sky are sharp and grungy. That makes me want to focus on the background instead of the foreground. The water in particular should be a lot sharper since it looks like you're trying to make a bit of a splash/wave so there would be a lot of sharp water particles and foam. The second piece is too dark :( There's way too much black in there and it makes the whole thing feel really flat. I think the third one is the best. THe blending is well done. I wish there was a background though! The last one is interesting because it looks like you've tried to incorporate more texture. Don't go too dark though! There's already an awful lot of black on the left side so just be careful. You really shouldn't ever use pure black in your paintings. It makes them look quite flat. I look forward to seeing more work :)

  16. Well I think your title and post don't necessarily fit. I don't necessarily associate anger with passion. I am very passionate about video games, I love playing them, I love making them, I love drawing fan art for them, I'd love to start a career in the industry, etc. But no, I don't rage when I die in a video game. I'm disappointed, but I don't get angry. Despite that, I'm still very passionate about that. I'm also very passionate about art. I think about it all the time. I can't even be in a normal situation without observing how the light hits certain objects, or the beauty of reflections, and consider how I'd go about drawing something, etc. I do get very upset and demotivated when I can't make a piece of art work. But I don't curse or yell or headdesk. I usually quit out of frustration and do something else for a while.
  17. If you would like to comment on the Tip.It Times, please post here: Tip.It Times - 19th June 2011 . When posting please remember to criticize the content only - not the authors. You come across as very hostile towards the author in your first paragraph.
  18. Why because he makes a well argued point, providing feedback to the system and making some of the staff look a little off balance? Because we don't want to argue in circles and that's the only place the argument was going :P
  19. Like a week ago I saw the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie. It was meh, but I guess that doesn't come as a surprise. It was definitely too long. I found myself getting bored and shifting around in my seat a lot XD
  20. I'll make a note of it in your application :)
  21. 99s aren't always about what's hard and what's easy, they're about what people enjoy. I'd say most people absolutely despise runecrafting. Yes it's slow, but it's also tediously boring and yields no benefit other than effigies. Sure construction is fast and not horribly expensive, but again people find it boring, unnecessary, and not a good use of money. A lot of people find slayer enjoyable, mildly profitable, and a byproduct of training combat skills (which have always been incredibly popular to train). Probably most people would rather get 99 in a skill that they enjoy training than in one that's horribly boring and/or pointless. I think these days people tend to invest any extra money in expensive skills that are more beneficial or necessary to train, such as herblore and prayer. You might think, "They're more expensive so there should be less people with 99 than construction," but there is a huge reason to train them (and of course they've been around longer, but that's not the point I'm trying to make :P).
  22. Well comparing construction and slayer: construction is a pointless money sink with little benefit. Slayer involves combat, which has always been the most popular aspect of RuneScape. People love combat. So training slayer is a byproduct of training combat. People have a reason to train it, but people don't have a reason to train construction.
  23. Ish an ickle kitty! [hide]I love it when he hugs his feet. Wat is dis. (I wish it was in focus :( Damn fast moving kitty and crappy camera phone) [/hide]
  24. SOUR SKITTLES??? You've got my vote!   :P Why didn't I think of that  Don't worry. I'll accept multiple bribes.
