When creating art
In response to the above, I think there's actually a great comment from the TV show White Collar that fits well. When Neal is explaining how to forge a signature he says that he does it upside down. Because when you look at a signature normally, you see letters and a signature. So your own style creeps in since you know you're writing letters. But when it's upside down it's just random shapes. So instead you're not writing a signature, you're drawing shapes, and that makes for a more accurate signature. Anyway some of the same ideas can apply to art. If you think, "Okay I'm going to draw a wolf!" you'll end up drawing what you think a wolf looks like, and unless you're an expert on anatomy, etc., there will end up being flaws. As for me, I have PhotoShop CS5 and a Wacom Intuos 4 tablet. When drawing something I've never drawn before, I have PhotoShop open on one monitor and browse Google and/or deviantART on the other for references. With things like architecture and machinery, there's often a lot of raging, erasing, and refining involved. I can never seem to get the hang of those :P Sometimes it can be frustrating because practice does make perfect. But in order to get good, you have to spend weeks looking at your crappy results, which is oftentimes very discouraging!

TIF is bit over-moderated
We're not getting people in trouble for what they post on TEF. Our concern is outgoing links that are posted on Tip.It. For instance, we don't allow links to be posted on Tip.It that lead to forums with botting information or black markets, etc. Similarly (but far less extreme, of course), there is a thread on the Efficienado forum that contains some rule-breaking scripts. The first post of the thread was fine, and most of the scripts posted in the thread were also fine, but there were also a few scripts posted that do break the rules. You guys are fully welcome to post whatever you want on TEF and we won't ban your Tip.It Forum account no matter what you say there. But, we still have standards for outgoing links posted on Tip.It. And if a site contains any scripts or information that could assist with botting, we don't support that. The action we take is about the outgoing link posted on Tip.It - not for what content you post on TEF. I have sent a detailed PM to a TEF admin clearly outlining our concerns and expectations. We would love for you guys to be able to continue advertising TEF and we're trying to help make that happen. But we do have certain standards that need to be met for any outgoing links.

TIF is bit over-moderated
The only time we would ever use information from another forum to count against a user on Tip.It would be ban evasion. So if someone says on RS or in an IRC channel or another forum that they have a new account on Tip.It that they are ban evading with, yes we will use that information. But we never hold anything else against users if it is posted somewhere else. So if someone bashes Tip.It staff on another forum, we wouldn't ban their Tip.It forum account for it. We wouldn't do anything.

Bots, bots, bots, and why they make me rage! We'll give this a try :)

Bots, bots, bots, and why they make me rage!
Bots, bots, bots, and why they make me rage! This sticky is a place for you to rant about bots, how they affect you, and what is being done (or not being done) to stop them. If a rant is particularly well thought out, we may allow it to exist in its own thread outside of this sticky, but this will ultimately be up to the moderators. Remember: no naming names! So if you see someone who you believe to be botting, please edit our their name when posting a screenshot or telling your story. There's always the chance that they could be a legitimate player and we don't want innocent players to wind up with an undeserved bad reputation!

How do you deal with stress?
I very rarely get stressed. I often have plenty of stuff that I could be stressed about but it just doesn't happen. I guess I always know that it'll work out just fine so there's no reason to get worried about it. If I do ever get stressed, I play a game and that's usually the end of it. :P
