Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
I'm pretty excited! :P But yeah, it will be sad too. It was so sad when the books ended because they were epic. But when the movies end, Harry Potter as a whole is officially done. Quite sad :( It's like the end of a generation.

I haven't been having any issues either.

TIF is bit over-moderated
This topic is mostly about general policies and staff behavior. Specific instances/posts/users are better sorted out through PM since talking about specific posts/users in public can lead to more chaotic discussions and flame wars. So if you want to discuss it, please PM me and we can talk about it in detail :) However, I will say two things here. First, we cannot always reply to the reporter to explain what happened with their report (if action was taken, if not, if not then why, etc.). Honestly it takes a lot of time with all the reports we receive. But maybe in cases where no action is required this could be something we try to improve upon. Secondly, you talked about how your thread was not about efficiency. The RuneScape Metagame Forum is a forum for efficiency. As stated in the RuneScape Metagame forum rules: So that could be a reason for the efficiency-related comments you received. If you want to discuss that particular post/thread in greater detail, you may PM me :)

Jimmy answered everything very well, I think :) We also strive to make it so that our forums can be safe for school and work. If we allowed too many risqué images/other content, then it would be harder to browse Tip.It in those locations. If you have more specific examples of things that you would like to post but cannot for whatever reason, please mention them. With things like this, it's easier for us to respond and consider the possibility of change if we have specific examples/ideas/topics to work with. wat. I have no idea where that came from :P

External HDD
I had a G-Drive Mini for a while (500gb) and it's a great, portable hard drive. Then when I wanted more space, I gave it to my dad and got a regular G-Drive (I believe storage ranges from 1TB - 3TB), which I still have. It works great and I love that it comes with a Firewire connection, which makes for much faster transferring

Small Suggestion
In an upcoming version of IPB I think there's supposed to be a "like" feature coming out :P Is that similar to a +rep button, ie. board wide, or is it per post? I'd quite like to see that kind of thing as a forum-wide thing. Probably per post :P Not 100% sure though.

The middle finger
I don't think I've ever used it. I think it's pretty silly/stupid. If I'm pissed off I'd rather use my words than a gesture that doesn't say anything other than "I'm pissed at you," which isn't exactly helpful.

A little off the topic here.. but a feature like this for General Guides might actually be useful :P

Any old school users still here?
There's a face I remember :P

Database Landing Pages
That would be nice :P I think that showing the most recently added would be most beneficial. It will help people easily find all the new entries after an update.

My very first pixel
Shading, shading shading! :D You also forgot the two lines on the back of the shell. Copying existing stuff can be a good way to work up an artistic foundation. Then once it's given you enough practice and confidence, you can move onto your own ideas.

New Forum: Metagame Discussion
After some evaluation we have decided to remove the new Efficient Help & Advice forum. It made things a little too confusing and we would like to stray away from dividing the Help & Advice traffic. Instead, we have come up with a new set of Help & Advice posting guidelines, which you can view here.

** New Posting Guidelines **
** New Posting Guidelines ** Not all of these guidelines are strict rules that will result in disciplinary action if violated; they are guidelines that Tip.It Moderators will gently encourage through posting reminders and other kinds of in-thread moderation. However some of them (such as flaming peoples' advice) will not be tolerated at all. The original question should be answered before alternatives are given. i.e. If a user says they are woodcutting to make money and ask where the best place to cut yews is, their question should be answered before alternative money-making methods (killing frost dragons, monster hunting, etc.) are given. If the user clearly states in their first post that they do not want any alternatives, then they should not be posted at all.Do not flame other peoples' suggestions. You are welcome to calmly/politely expand on their ideas or counter advice if it is incorrect, but always do so constructively. Rude comments like, "This advice sucks - don't follow it," are not permitted. If advice is bad or incorrect, use facts and figures to politely disprove it.If you are going to challenge someone else's advice directly, please use evidence to avoid flaming and drawn-out disagreements.Remember, use the /!\ Report button to report any rule-breaking posts to the moderator team! Then they can be removed (if necessary) and dealt with in the appropriate fashion!
