  1. Does this include banning users? Yes it does :P In most cases there is a real time discussion and anywhere from 2-5 people agree to a ban before it's made. And for ban appeals the entire admin and super moderator teams are involved and we always go with a majority vote. We would love this just as much as you. Unfortunately it's a lot harder to find suitable people than you think. There are very VERY few people who are active on Tip.It, active on RS, and are suitable for a moderator position. We're always on the look out though.
  2. For the first game.. I can't remember. It was a freelance job a few months back. I'd have to check and see and I can't be bothered right now  The second game is a game I'm making for a Game Design class :)
  3. Nope, I think I'm helping to judge it :XD: I'm not a fan of pixel art anyway. For the second time I'm making graphics for a pixel game. As if it wasn't bad enough the first time. So doing a pixel piece in addition to all that would drive me crazy :P I'm a digital painting girl
  4. Very smexy. Maybe I'm crazy, but when I look at it I see Jack:
  5. Tablets really aren't necessary for pixel art at all, so I'd assume most people use a mouse. The real appeal when it comes to tablets is having pressure sensitivity. When you're putting each pixel down individually, you don't need that :P So tablets are more of a digital painting thing.
  6. Wow hi Hazezor! Long time no talk :P It's great to hear from you! Have fun in RS and take care :)
  7. This is a reminder that Tip.It strictly enforces all RuneScape rules and admitting to violating them isn't something that we allow. General discussions are okay but stay away from, "Yeah I sold GP for real money and I'd do it again," kind of posts.
  8. My favourites: [hide] One on the far right is quite cool :) [/hide] Neat stuff :) Fun to look at. I'd like to see more like this!
  9. If I was playing RuneScape at all I'd have a few pics to share every day
  10. I always notice stuttering, lisps, etc. If it was a friend I talk to often, I'd probably stop noticing it after a while, but otherwise I'd notice it right away.
  11. I've been watching it as well :) I started reading the book like 9 months ago but only got like 200 pages in before I got bored. Watching the series has made me want to give the book another try though.
  12. I watched Grease and Freaky Friday tonight
  13. I'm still trying to work my way through the first book :XD: I started reading it like 9 months ago and couldn't get attached to it. But I've been watching and liking the TV show so I think I'll give it another try.
  14. Lay in bed and mope Talk to my boyfriend Play with my cat After a while I get over it and/or my boyfriend makes me feel better <3:
  15. Yeah there are a lot of threads but we try to only make organizational changes if the end product would result in two active forums. So if the rants forum without the bot threads was very active and the bot threads were just making things chaotic and overpowering the other active discussions, then it would be great to split up the forum. But if splitting up a forum results in two very slowly moving forums, then it's harder to justify doing it :P
  16. I'm not quite sure what a subforum would achieve other than hiding most of the threads from people who don't want to look at them. It would leave the normal Rants forum pretty inactive. If you don't want to read threads about bots, you don't have to.
  17. I don't really think it's fair to say that moderators and admins posting a lot in this topic is bad :( In fact, I think it's a very good thing. A big complaint right now seems to be a lack of transparency. One way or another, we're going to talk about the ideas and issues presented in this thread. Either we don't post here and talk amongst ourselves in private instead, which would probably result in people feeling ignored. Or we post here and respond to your guys' ideas. We talk with you, give our opinions on your ideas, and communicate publicly. I'd think the latter would be more preferred. Just because a staff member posts something doesn't mean we're jumping down your throats or trying to gang up on you. We're trying to communicate with you and give our opinions. Sometimes different staff members have different opinions or different things to add to the conversation, which is why more than one may post.
  18. Nice tutorial :) The one comment I haven't isn't about the tutorial itself, but more about the final image, if that's okay. The way you've set up your layers of mountains is backwards. Right now you have the closest mountains (in front) the lightest colour and the ones in back darkest. But in reality it should be swapped. The further away things are, the more they blend into the background. So when you're looking at mountains in the horizon, the further away ones will appear lighter and bluer. The closer ones have more definition and contrast. Here's an example (look at the very very top of the image): Anyway it's not the biggest deal in the world but I thought I'd point it out and maybe it'll help you in the future :) Also, @ the above conversation.. I'm currently making a pixel game for a Game Design class project :XD:
  19. I hold no one but Peter :shame: I've been on LOTRO
  20. Yeah there definitely was no "z0mg let's pull Voldy off a cliff" part in the book :XD:
  21. You can borrow my luck as long as I'm offline!
