TIF is bit over-moderated
Danqazmlp answered this very well, I just want to back up what he's saying. When Jagex started supporting fan sites, we only changed one thing in order to become a platinum fan site. We removed advertisements for other games. We did not change any of our rules or policies or give Jagex any control over how our forums our run. We don't uphold RuneScape rules because Jagex has asked us to or because they threaten to remove our platinum status if we don't. We uphold RuneScape rules because it's something that we believe should be done. If you want to complain about our rules, fine (as long as it's done constructively). But don't accuse us of sucking up to Jagex or selling our soul because we have not changed any of our policies because of them.

200M in all Skills
going to cut you off here, I think talking someone out of potential suicide is more important/responsible then staying on topic atm. I'm actually going to send him a kind private message and try to talk about some things and you guys are welcome to do the same :) But as you can see, conducting it in a thread with a totally different topic yields some incredibly rude and disrespectful comments. I think that this could be conducted via private message or could be relocated to the Real Life Help & Advice topic. But I fear that leaving it here, where people have already posted hurtful comments in response to him, would do more harm than good.

Error while logging in
Hi :) Help & Advice is a great place for questions but since your topic seems to deal with some technical questions on your end, I have moved this to our Tech & Computers forum! There are some very knowledgeable techies here who will probably be able to help you solve your problem!

Runecrafting sucks.
Runecrafting = patience, dedication, months/years of hard work. Monster hunting = less work (thus perhaps less admirable), more money. So if you're primarily looking for money, yeah runecrafting screws you over. But you still have something to be proud of ;)

Is anyone else just completely disappointed with everyone?
Well we did do a Moderator Spotlight a few months ago that we hoped would bring some transparency to the team.

Legitimant question about tip.it
Locking this for the above reason and because there are at least 2 other threads where this can be discussed :P

Is anyone else just completely disappointed with everyone?
Ban appeals are reviewed by the entire administrative and super moderator teams. There are usually 8-10 people involved in ban appeals and we go by majority vote. The first one is too vague for me to address directly, but this is explicitly against the rules: And also keep in mind that we never issue bans without warnings first (except porn, scamming, spambots, etc.). The typical situation goes something like this: Warning > warning > warning > 3 day ban > 1 week ban > 2 week ban > 1 month ban > (3 month ban) > perm ban So anyone who is banned for any amount of time has already received multiple warnings and reminders to reread the rules. We always welcome calm and polite criticism of our rules by means of PMing an admin privately or creating a thread in Forum Updates & Suggestions to say, "I think this rule isn't working and here is a possible solution." But imo explicitly violating the rules and complaining about being banned for it doesn't hold much weight. But of course if someone feels the ban was undeserved or too harsh, etc. they are ALWAYS welcome to submit an appeal, which is read and judged by ~10 people. We have always been a forum with rules, way before Jagex started supporting fan sites. We don't have rules because Jagex wants us to; we have rules because we believe that they are necessary to maintain a positive, friendly and safe environment.

I was in class when I opened up the thread :( The people who sat behind me and looked over my shoulder probably think I'm some kind of sicko.

What movie(s) did you last see?
I rewatched Final Destination last year and was disappointed :( I remembered it being so much better.

Is anyone else just completely disappointed with everyone?
I would like to apologize on behalf of the entire staff for everything that happened. Mistakes were made on both sides but in short, this has all blown way out of proportion and has become so much more than we anticipated (and probably same goes for the other side, but I cannot speak for them). We always try to be as accommodating as possible and we were (and still are) willing to listen to any and all issues. All we ask for is calmness and respect. Before all of this happened, we were in the process of figuring out some of the requests that were made, such as creating a new forum for research/efficiency and making some changes to Help & Advice. We do apologize if there was some lack of or miscommunication. We are still open to these ideas but it is important to understand that things like this can't happen in a heartbeat. As admins of such a large forum we have to consider more than just creating a forum, which takes seconds. We have to consider policies, rules (or lackthereof) and communicating with our moderators. We are doing our best to reflect on the entire situation and figure things out. All we ask is that you guys be respectful. Spamming and harassing our moderators does nothing to help anyone.

TIF is bit over-moderated
H&A- Infuriating to give good advice, it needs some form of quality control AoW- Same thing, much of it is poor or out of date, it needs quality control Both of those things we are open to. For H&A it will take more time as we have new methods and policies to sort out. But we are open to it. For AoW, you are always welcome to report guides that you feel are out of date and should be removed.

Suggestion Tip.It forum Rules
As for flaming, it is pretty much defined within the rule itself :) If it's still unclear please let us know :)

Deflection Skin Bugged
Given that you seem to be the only one having this problem, I am also inclined to think that it is something on your end. I'll let Peter know and see what his thoughts are.

TIF is bit over-moderated
Moderators are told that if they have any personal investment in an issue/person/situation, they should not deal with it. It should be handed over to another moderator to ensure that there is no bias. I think our moderators are pretty good about this but if you ever see an occasion where you think it might be happening, we would like to encourage you to report it to an administrator, because it should not be happening! Disagreeing and being blunt is perfectly fine. I understand the mentality there and it's probably not something you can just get over, but I'd like to try to reassure you anyway :P The only way you would be banned for being rude to a moderator is if you do legitimate flaming or name calling (like "why did you warn my friend?? You are such incompetent admin you [bleep]ing [bleep]!!" etc.). Warnings aren't really meant to be punishment. Sometimes people don't violate the rules out of malice or disrespect for them. In many cases it's a lapse in judgment, heat of the moment, or just forgetfulness. Moderators serve as a reminder of the rules and of the consequences that will come if they continue to violate them. It's more of a way of educating people rather than punishing them. We use warnings to try to help people understand what the rules are, why we have them, how they should be followed, and what will happen if they're violated again. We're not really trying to scare people into following them, we're just trying to give them a fair warning (as the title suggests :P ) before giving them any actual punishment. It's an opportunity for people to change their behavior to be in accordance with the rules. Thanks for posting :)

TIF is bit over-moderated
This was an issue for a while several months ago but was fixed. The ban appeal form page shows everyone as "logged out." You'll notice that if you navigate to that page it acts like you're logged out even though you're not. Therefore, it is perfectly possible to use the form to appeal a ban. Although if there was an issue, the solution would be to clear your cookies which would log you out of your account and allow you to access the ban appeal page.
